Oh My Goodness - Just made my first long sign (5” x 36”) and I rewatched your video before attempting.... I also wanted a gray vinyl but used the silver mat smart vinyl for the joy on a while chalk painted wood sign and it came out so beautifully. I wish I could send you a picture lol - thank you so much💕

I’ve been utilizing the longer cuts a Joy can do and I am very happy. Had an original expression and pieced long cuts together with it and that was a task! Thank u for your videos - your voice and the colors you choose to work with and decorate with are so soothing. I’ve been using the silver smart vinyl and like the thickness as well. You’re right about “it can be a stinker - but worth it”! 😁

It came out beautifully 😊. I did my first shirt shirt my cricut joy because of u and im happy to say it came out great. I did the same text that u did that said “grow where u are planted” i also used a home iron cuz I still don’t have a heat press and it worked 🫣. Thanks for everything u do with the cricut joy .

I love the rain as well❤ its so relaxing. It puts me in a good mood. Pictures with water do the same for me, idk maybe im weird but I'll just say I'm unique 😉 lol I have the explore air 2 and I really have been thinking about getting the joy bc it cuts so long but do not like that it doesn't cut very wide. So maybe I'll skip on it. Id rather just invest in the Maker, which i wish I would've done in the first place. Great job Bethany it turned out beautiful❤

When you use non-smart vinal in the Joy, do you always use a mat or do you cut it at 5.5 inches & tell machine it's smart vinal & not use a mat? I just got my Joy yesterday. I have a roll of non-smart vinal & the mat that came with it seems different from mats I have seen.

As a new Joy owner, (it's going to be delivered today 😀) can I ask if you can rotate elements? So if I have a name to put on a water bottle that is wider than the Joy, smart materials,I can rotate the name so it cuts down the length instead?
Hello, just trying to figure out once you upload your file how you got it to fit in the design space so it was manageable. When I downloaded the SVG it shows up in design space true to size and I cannot work with it in the space like you were able to do? The size is 9 in x 36 inches Please help I have spent over an hour trying to figure this out.
From design on machine, it looks like the oh Spring is facing wrong direction?

I have! I think HTV on wood is nice, but it can be a lengthy process at times so I would only really do it on smaller signs, personally. I have tutorials on that on my channel. :)

No, because I am using adhesive vinyl. Mirror needs to be on when using iron on or Infusible ink.

I don't, but you would simply just use the SVG design you would like and the process is the same. :)
