Wow this is so incredibly helpful! I have been trying to figure out how to stencil with leaving parts of it in the middle (like the sections in the loopy letters) I had been looking for actual weeks and couldn’t find a good answer/tutorial ! So thank you so so very much I am soooo appreciative that you made this video and uploaded, bless you!!! Thank you!!❤
Thank you SO much! I'm going to do my project with removable vinyl - it's all I have on hand. I'm glad to see it worked for you. I hope it works for me!
Yes, I’ve heard that as well. I’ve never personally found the need if my stencil is sealed. But definitely take that step if you’d like, it’s a great tip!
Thank you! I like this color on the white as well. This isn’t a font, but a cut file and I linked it in the description box below the video so you can see where I purchased it!
It's personal preference, but I personally think that the wet peel is more successful because once it dries it can crack or peel up in a more choppy way. Once the paint dries and hardens, it's a little less smooth to pull up so it can be harder to achieve that clean line!
Interesting. I have actually never had a problem shaking mine, but will keep that in mind if I ever come into an issue. Another brand of chalk paint that I have and use mentions to shake it, so you may want to check with the brand you choose because each may be different!
This project was really cool - I think I would have gone with the 3rd coat. This is absolutely gorgeous..!! I like having the “touch-up” tools handy..!! Thanks for sharing..!!
Yes, definitely go with your preference for the painting portion! I really like a distressed look because my decor is more of that style, so that's why I made my design choice.

Dawn Buchert I’m so glad! That’s wonderful!
I struggle with the Smart Vinyl and the transfer tapes but you are using something different - what type and brand is it? Thank you!
Hi Nancy! I have linked everything I use in the description box below the video, but it is the smart materials. :)
Bethany, your sign looks awesome.
Thanks so much!

Beautiful - would not have thought to try removable vinyl as a stencil but it looks great
Thanks so much! It's a wonderful use of vinyl, plus it makes for a very clean final stencil!

Thank you! I really love that color as well! It was my first time using it, but definitely won't be my last!
This is amazing 💕💕💕💕
Thanks so much!
Great job on that sign!! Its a great idea to use the removable vinyl as a stencil. I’ll have to remember that one.
Thank you, Liza! Definitely keep this idea in mind when stenciling, it proved to be a very reliable stencil!
I've watched several videos that say paint the stencil with the base color first, then your blue color to prevent bleeding
Yes, I’ve heard that as well. I’ve never personally found the need if my stencil is sealed. But definitely take that step if you’d like, it’s a great tip!
Love your sign...I haven’t tried stencilling...yet! ☺️ x
Thank you! You should definitely try it!
BEAUTIFUL! What font did you use? I like that color on white.

This sign is just beautiful! 💜
Thank you so much, Sylvie! I am in love with it as well!
Just bought my first cricut machine! 😍 I went with the Cricut Joy. Could this be used for a doormat?
The sign Bethany is absolutely gorgeous! Loved it. Thanks for sharing and I am loving your tutorials they are awesome!💕
I'm sorry if I missed it, but what font is this? It is a beautiful sign!
Thank you, Janis! It is actually a premade design and not a font so I placed a link in the description box if you'd like to take a closer look at it!
@@Bethadilly Thanks!
Silly question probably but why do you have to removed it before it dries? Never work with pain

Bethadilly thank you so much I definitely want to try this now
Beautiful, great job! I love how you are so meticulous 🌸
Thank you, Sylvia! I am a bit of a perfectionist. :)
They say not to shake the chalk paint they say you should stir it

Oh, I guess I did do a third coat! Ha ha, I forget my own preference. :) And yes, the touch up tools really polished it up!
That was very satisfying to watch you weed.
Ha ha, I totally agree!
