काफी समय पहले की बात है अमेरिका और जापान में आपसी व्यापार बिलकुल न के बराबर था।
अमेरिका ने काफी जोर देकर जापान की सरकार से कहा की जो आपके यहाँ संतरा (orange) होता है
हम उससे काफी सस्ता और दिखने में अच्छा संतरा आपको दे सकते है।
जापान की सरकार ने अमरीका के दबाव की वजह से आर्डर दे दिया।
जब वो संतरा जापान के बाज़ारों में बिकने के लिए पहुंचा
आपकी जानकारी के लिए बता दूँ कि जापानी संतरा खाने में कड़वा होता था और जो अमेरिका वाला संतरा था वो खाने में अच्छा भी था।
तो जब वो अमरीका वाला संतरा जापानी बाज़ारों में आया तो किसी ने नहीं खरीदा।
पता है क्यों नहीं खरीदा…!!
जापानी लोगो ने कहा कि चाहे मेरे देश का संतरा कड़वा और महंगा है।
पर है तो हमारे देश का ही।
हम इसे ही खरीदेंगे।
तो वो बाकी का करोड़ो रूपये का संतरा सरकार के पास पडा पड़ा ही सड गया तो ये होती है राष्ट्रभक्ति मेरे भाइयो…!!

Good for you but that was not the point I was trying to make. Let's take Tata and Mahindra motors, they are Indian companies but they use 50% of components from China. So does it make sense to boycott Tata and Mahindra products since 50% of component is sourced from China? That's the problem in globalization. In your daily life you are using Chinese products in one way or the other. We just know they make phones and TVs hence it is easy to say I will boycott Chinese products but in reality we use other other 60% of products which are also made in China.

Its better to buy high cost quality products than low quality Chinese products. Today's movement of boycotting Chinese products will have bigger impact on china in near future.

@Technical Guruji ur analysis may be correct.. But the thing is, if we keep thinking this we won't be able to stop these chinese products. U are right that they have already purchased the goods from china so the loss will be of indian shop owners but the thing is, drastic times need drastic measures.. If we boycott these goods now we may suffer loss this year but indian shopkeepers will learn the lession and they will not purchase the goods next year onwards. Also this will be a good opportunity for indian entrepreneurs to fill in the gap.. Kuch pane k liye kuch khona padta hai guruji..

I have observed that people dont have respect for Indian products.People should support Intex and Micromax. Once they will have enough capital, they can start spending in R&D and can make fully made in India products. I believe currently they might be little overpriced but still I would suggest to buy them and eventually they can compete Samsung , Apple and bring technical jobs in India.

Totally disagree. If you want to fight make a clear and immediate strike, i.e boycott good immediately ( let the indian business suffer ) suffer for some time, and simultaneously make arrangements to replace these goods as soon as possible, preferable indian. This was done during british Raj, where clothes from their mills were boycotted and masses burnt their products.

Shreyas Jadhav absolutely true branded products can't be banned today or even in near future but we can avoid those Chinese unbranded products like headphones or usb cables etc., we find all over the country, which are dirt cheap but these products hurts our economy. so if we can spend a bit more and get the original or atleast branded products, it will help us get over china soon!

It is true , all of a sudden we cant say no Chinese products . We have to increase the momentum from time to time for example : My HP laptop is made in China , But we can start by saying no to Chinese local products like toys , candles etc and insist for Indian products & also from other countries except China . Also not buying products of Chinese companies (like VIVO , LeEco , G'FIVE , HUAWEI , ZOPO , Haier , Coolpad , ZTE , OPPO , MEIZU , GIONEE , TCL , LENOVO , Xiaomi , One plus etc ) can give a tremendous blow to the Chinese government . Imagine what happen if we stop buying Chinese mobile , does any dealer would stock mobile of Chinese companies ?
You must be knowing that strategic decisions of every company depend upon the market survey which is in other words consumer moods and sentiments . Today if an Indian company who is outsourcing manufacturing to China feels that the general public is not buying Chinese made product. Then the company to boost up his sales would outsource their manufacturing to some other country .

I also don't believe our governments would take an immediate step and start manufacturing most of the products.It is upto us to adapt to certain principles and life style.It is as simple as we know that cigarette is harmful to us and kills us. If you buy this time, give them clear message that you will not buy next time. We can use diyas instead of Chinese lights. This will boost our rural economy.

The Chinese materials are already being purchased by Indian vendor hence if sudden boycott is made on such products will hurt our indian vendor. This is true. But unless we stop this cycle of buying -selling Chinese products this will be continued. What my point is that there is one day when one have to stop this purchasing of Chinese products then only vendor/distributers won't take Chinese products for next cycle. Now it's up to us that which day we choose this to start? Today or tomorrow? It's one and the same. Sir, I really appreciate your idea but when we consider the present scenario there is not even a single company in india which can manufacture even a single IC, DIODE OR a resistor .So we are lagging a lot and if we start a company also we need to import basic components from China only. So we cannot say we can make indigenous product without making basic component and I request you to give awareness to people regarding this issue.

These companies use the Chinese support from raw materials to product assemblies in most cases, and we have to observe closely on how to validate the company is whether Chineses or not. Take facts and ground reality. Not just consider the origin or registration background of the company, there are a lot of undercurrents involved in the economy over the emotions.
The key takeaways from the media discussion: If India is capable to produce its own mobile phones in the near future, definitely the mid-level and premium level (technology with great value category smartphones) market will grow in India, and of course we promote and use them with wholeheartedly approach.
