- Hello Guys, do you know that 86% of counterfeit products come from China alone! And because of these counterfeit products the whole world suffered a loss of around $323 billion in 2017! Where handbags alone accounted for $20 million loss. Well if the world suffers such losses yearly then why is there still a demand for Chinese counterfeit products? Are cheap prices the real culprit behind this? Or China using some strategy like the infamous 'Dumping Strategy' ? And in all this mess where does India as a nation stand in the manufacturing competition against China and its products? I lived in a city named Dar es Salaam ( Tanzania). There Indian and Chinese products are dominating. Most of the products like ,bikes there are hero boxer, TVS, pulser ,Bajaj and TVS rikshaws , TATA trucks. And when it comes to shoes, textile, basic products, grocery, Supermarkets are mostly Indian. And also there are good amount of Chinese cosmetic, electronics, machines and tools. And they have their own Tanzanian products too. Japanese vehicles are dominating but USA products are rare 😅. May be USA helping in infrastructure.
