    Seriously great video. I am about to dive into my 2019 Forester purchased at auction and lost my mind at the prices quoted me by body shops to do this. I'm looking forward to saving some cash. I appreciate all the safety points and the quality step by step instructions. Keep up the good work Eli!

      Jud, Thank you for the great feedback! I'm very happy you found the video and I'm look forward on assisting you further with reset services if you when you need it. Body shop hourly / parts costs can be pretty pricey! Whenever you're ready, heres a link for your convenience: www.myairbags.com

    Can you tell me where the satalite safe sensor in the Subaru crossed 2012 model is located, please

    • @MyAirbags

      Should be under the hood, near the radiator.

      Thanks for the reply. I found it later. It is located under the rear middle seat towards the leg room.

    Do the seatbelts deploy even if they arent connected? Is there a way to tell of they deployed?

    • @MyAirbags
      @MyAirbags  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      If the seat belts were not being used (buckled) during an accident/collision, then they are most likely still bad in most vehicles. The pyro fuse will still blow and seat belts usually will lock, but then later, they can seem like they are working properly, but the pyro sensor is already bad.

    In addition to replacing the SRS Module and blown air bags, do I need to also replace air bag sensors?

    • @MyAirbags
      @MyAirbags  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, the impact sensor are usually good and dont need to be changed unless they are physically damaged or if you get a code when you scan the SRS Airbag system.

    In this vehicle will eyesight be disabled after airbag ? How can I enable eyesight after it has been fixed

    • @MyAirbags
      @MyAirbags  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes in most newer vehicles a lot of safety features are built to be controlled by the srs airbag control module. If the eyesight feature is controlled by the srs control module then it should be restored after crash data history has been reset/cleared in the srs airbag control module.

    Question. Once the airbag control module is disconnected and removed to be shipped out can I connect the battery after to drive the vehicle to move it around the shop?

    • @MyAirbags
      @MyAirbags  ปีที่แล้ว

      Its best to keep the battery disconnected to avoid additional programming that could be needed if the battery power is applied while the airbag control module is disconnected.

    Super informative video and appreciate you sharing. I'm in the process of removing the back row seatbelts on my 2019 Forester. Turning the car into a mini camper, so I have no need for the back trim/seats/etc. I noticed there are similar air bag modules for the rear seat belts as well. My question is -- if I removed the rear seat belt modules entirely and didn't replace them, would it impact airbag sensors for the rest of the car (driver + front passenger)? Thanks a ton!

    • @MyAirbags
      @MyAirbags  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Christopher, the rear belts on your vehicle isn't equipped with the deployable type of seat belt, therefore they shouldn't be tied into the airbag system. So it should have no affect on the airbag system.

      No you dont, if you send the original airbag computer module for reset then you dont need to have it programmed to your vehicle.
