7mm-08 does anything the old 7x57 Mauser ever did. And that old 7x57 was an absolute gem. When used in a modern rifle with modern handloads the 7x57 could really walk the dog. The 7mm-08 has been walking the dog in factory form since Remington put it out the door.

Remington Core Lokt's are hard too beat, I've used them for years. The availability is usually pretty good and they're not over priced. The yellow and green box is unmistakable
Those Norma Whitetails in my experience are like a core lokt 2.0. I’ve probably shot my best groups with the whitetails, in a couple different rifles. One a Ruger American compact 6.5 creedmoor, the other an older CZ 243. I have some 308 still to test and anticipate similar results. Not my preferred hunting ammo though. I’d rather shoot something with 1.5” groups with a preferred bullet for hunting, like the TTSXs, TSX, or GMX. Sometimes a rifle really doesn’t like copper bullets though, like an AR I’ve tried. 2-4” groups with all weights of copper I tested. Same rifle shoots 70+ grain match bullets well below an inch.
Love corelok but after the bankruptcy seems their quality control has gone down drastically cause I can’t seem to find a good box of them anymore just shooting sparaticly
7mm-08 is definitely one of the most underrated boolot calibers out there. When I was just getting going in the hunting game 50 ish years ago (yikes) it was considered by most manly men to be just a light recoiling LADIES gun, but times have changed, projectiles have improved immensely now it’s definitely a solid intermediate slinger. I love it, and I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to hunt moose or elk with one. Another great video Adam Thanks
Don't you just love how those writers painted the 7mm-08 Remington into the corner! A lot of people still to this day say it's a good choice for women and children! I say.. it's probably the best deer cartridge to come down the pipe in my lifetime :) Also find it strange that those same writers don't say the same thing about the 243 Winchester and the 6.5 Creedmoor.
I would not call any of them "garbage" as they all were within minute of man melon and well within a deer's chest/shoulder area. That said, one wants the least variance to increase the fudge factor, so your 2 bests should be your first choice. Another fun video.👍👍
i’ve been loving the 7mm-08 ever since i bought a 7mm08 AR-10 barrel from Wilson Combat recently. I almost hesitate to say this heresy but oh well, I find myself liking shooting the 7mm08 better than my 308. This barrel is also more accurate than my 308. Awesome content as usual!
7-08 is a great cartridge. Wasn’t available when I bought my 7x57 in 73’. I did a massive amount of hand loading and bench work late 73’ and much of 74’. Tried lots of bullets and powders from W780, I4350, to Norma 205 and bullets from 120 to 175g. I shot five round groups and if you graphed out the group sizes it would look like an hour glass. Big groups at 120 and 175 and small groups at 140-150 gr. Best powder was IMR 4350 along with Speer 145 gr BTSP bullets. Shot 1.75” @ 300 yards in stiff wind. Disclaimer time the rifle ( Ruger 77 7x57) had been modded like present day swat rifles as I shot a heavy 6mm Shilen barrel a lot) Lee Six Beavertail glass stock and CanJar Set trigger with 4x12 scope. When I put the skinny 7x57 barrel on it looked like there was 3/8” space from barrel to stock 😂. In 92’ I picked up a Rem 700 7x57 mountain rifle , seated my custom reloads back to factory specs paced off 100 yards and shot five shot group off the hood of my car < 1”. Never messed with that rifle except put it in a Lee Six Glass stock and put the 4x12 scope on it. The 6mm/244 rem had a 6x18 and not a stalking rifle. If the 7-08 had been on a rack in 73’ I’d be shooting that. One shot one kill only thing that didn’t stop in it tracks has a big hog and it ran in three tight circles and fell over dead. Shot that with factory Normal 150’s as I didn’t have anything loaded for the hunt. It was a last minute deal and the 150’s was all the store had this was back in 82’. Those Norma rounds were almost as accurate as my hand loads and printed on paper where my loads did. Nice video. Thanks for sharing
Been using that cal. For years. Got a first year Model 7 rem with an 18in barrel. When that round hits it comes out 3 inches wide. Devastating round on deer. I stopped using a ballistic tip as it did too much damage if you hit the shoulder blade. But through the ribs, perfect. I went to the SP bullet and stayed there with the 140gn.
I just purchased another Christensen arms traverse chambered in 7mm/08. I'm putting scope on right now. I went with the Leopold 4×15×44 . taking it to the range in the morning.
I absolutely love the 7mm-08. The Hornady Superformance 139 gr. GMX shoots great in my Remington, Browning, and Christensen rifles. Bang/flop on Whitetails.
I have the very same ruger 7mm-08 with a bushnell scope.. my fav hunting rifle.. I use rem core lok most of the time.. but I've shot most of those rounds .. great gun!
I've gone to 120 grain nosler b tip with mine. I'm loading the rounds of course but major improvement over any factory round I tried and flat fast and major deer droppers.
Adam, I haven't commented for a while but I do watch each video. I just wanted to say while I'm thinking of it that your video quality is very good and so is the sound. I have a 5.1 and 2.1 surround system. It sounds so real like I was there in person. Your voice is dominant but you can hear the bugs in the background like it would be. Great work!
My son has a 7mm-08 in a Weatherby vanguard and it won’t shoot those Hornady well either. I know that I use the Norma Whitetail in my Bergera 7mm rem mag and it shoots .5” groups with that stuff. I’ve yet to make a hand load as good as that stuff. I’ve been really impressed with it over the years.
My brother has a Tc 7mm08and he loves it and I can't wait to start my Ruger American collection and you Mr who tee who are the reason I even gave the Ruger American any thoughts on buying thank you sir for your time and effort to make these videos 👍👍
My Sauer 100 likes the Hornady whitetail 139 but soon as this Texas heat throttles down have several other brands I want to try as the is rifle used for deer and hogs on military installation. See what the rifle loves and promises good expansion and weight retention some hogs run well over 115 pounds dressed out.
Great video! I have a 243 in the Ruger compact, noticed the jump when you fired each round and mine used to do the same I filled the fore stock and the butt with a little lead and 2 part epoxy made it a little heavier and stiffened the twist out of it a whole lot more stability the rifle shoots really nice now. I also have a Tikka T3X 7mm-08 load my own 139Gr SST they group under an inch 9 inch twist Thanks for the video
Hey. WTW. Love your channel. Had a Remington model 7 short action lightweight rifle in 7mm-08. It shot well, was light, and short. I never got a chance to take any game with it before I sold it. I think it's a very capable cartridge. I know Remington also had the 260 Remington which was just the 6.5 in the same case as the 7 mm 08. I tried a Ruger ultralight rifle in that caliber but it didn't enthuse me any. I went back to using my 308 mohawk 600 Remington and have never looked back. I like the 7.62x39 for deer too. I've taken 3 deer with Russian 123 gr. wolf hollow points. It's a very capable round. I've use sks and ak-47 rifles to hunt with in that caliber. Thanks for the video.
All those groups would be suitable for deer, as they all fit well into the 'kill zone' of a deer. More than likely the lightest bullets will give the least felt recoil if that is a consideration. i suspect all those rounds are suitable for deer in terminal performance. Were I a bit younger and didn't already have a (several, actually) hunting rifle, I would likely choose the 7mm-08. It is the 'spiritual' child of the 7x57mm Mauser, but uses a shorter action and is suitable for higher pressure loads. Of note, the 7x57mm Mauser in original form used a bullet between 170 and 175 grains. That seems currently in the 7mm-08 to be a hand loaded proposition, but worked well at lower velocities. On that note, I am not sure the twist rate of the barrel is fast enough to stabilize the heavier bullet. Gotta go fast, you know. One must also note that every rifle (barrel and bedding) is fairly unique and one man's test is not a universal truth. On the other hand, it is a place to start.
I think the hornady SSTs have the best ballistic coefficient of these rounds. In case anyone is wondering I may be wrong but I know I use 139 grain SSTs for their ballistic coefficient in my 7mm magnum and it should be the same bullet
I got a weatherby vanguard in 7mm08. The reason I bought it was it had a 24 inch barrel and the cartridge uses slow burning powders. I’m using Winchester StaBall 6.5 with a 120 Barnes ttsx and getting over 3200fps. It is a hammer. Also loading 150 nosler bt and getting 2910 fps and 165 Sierra game changers at 2800 fps
I hand load Nosler Ballistic Tip 120gr and 140gr in my Remington Model 7. Both loads will group just under an inch consistently. But I couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn using Nosler Partitions of the same weight.🤷♀️
I shot many times and used 4 kinds of ammo..fed, norma and hornady..140 seemed the best size grain..even the 140 hornady reloading bullets soft point..never failed me with 1 to 1.3 inch diff at 100 yards..so i stay with what works..
Not much on Remington brass But for a go too That Norma whitetail probably w vititouri powder great brass Federal too hot. Always great primers no Winchester power points w 748/w760 ? Remington imr powder being a Du pont co 4064 Covers all bullet wieght well varget s the same but temp stable
I have a ruger american 7mm08 and it absolutely hates the Hornaday superformance ammo. I ended up making up a load for it with the hornady 139gn sst. This load took it from 3" with the 139 gn sst superformance to 0.675 with my hand load with the same bullet.
I hunt with either a 30-06 180gr or a original 45-70 with 60 grn BP Goax with a card and a hollow point paper patched 405 grn bullet. At 100 yards slow fire it gives me about 1.5 inch group I might buy a Ruger American in 7mm--08 after this video
I am starting to hand load a few test rounds for my 7mm08. I have test fired a few H 87 grain in my .243 and found my spots at 100 Yards. My .223 is shooting a 0.750 group at 100.
Enjoyed your video today on the 7mm08 or should say the ammo. I'm in Eastern Ky and can't find any. Been on about 7 different companies websites waiting list to be notified when they get some, even on Norma and Federal for about 6months now and no luck yet. Glad you can get some because I like to see you shoot um. Thanks again.
This is going to be a fun video! Great round, thinking of buying one for myself since I already have a 7mm rem mag. Would be a good match for reloading when i dont want to use the 7mm!
I think Hornady dropped the ball on those loadings. Also, I know the Federals did really good on the last video!🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲 Isaiah 43:11 11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
Ruger 7mm-08 American has a fast twist and makes me wonder how well it would do with heavier bullets. Glad I stocked up on the Norma Whitetail when the local farm supply chain had cases of them
Another fine caliber for deer hunters to choose from. Plenty of knock down with not to bad of recoil. Thanks again WTW for sharing great things for the BING BANG COMMUNITY. 💪🏽💪🏽💯👍
Wow. We have a couple of 7mm-08. Tikka and Ruger American Predator. The hornady American 139 interlock shoot good. Typically we use 140 or 150 gr hand loads. 150 gr sierra game kings with a healthy dose of imr-4350 - are hard hitters and will shoot 1/2”- Or less.. the 140 accubonds are extremely accurate- one hole. The POI doesn’t jump all over the place as with many I see on the internet.
This is so funny AND so well timed. I'm taking my Model 70 to the range next weekend to find out which ammo it prefers. Fusion. Nosler AB's. Norma Oryx. Hornady Deer Season and GMX. I'm hoping it's either the Nosler or Norma. I'll be very interested in YOUR results.
@@erockoutdoors633 Thanks. Appreciate the info. This is a new rifle and I've got to get it sorted out soon. The season is fast approaching. Good luck this season everyone.
@@WHOTEEWHO I'm hoping so too! I kind of hedged my bets on that one by buying 5 boxes. I'm gathering all the bits and pieces I'm going to need to start reloading my own. The Norma brass will be very welcome. Norma Tac .22lr worked so well when I tried it in my CZ 457 Lux and 455 Ultralux that I got a whole brick the next day! Have you ever tried "subsonic" .22lr ammo in a CZ 455 Ultralux with that 28.6" barrel? Holy whisper quiet Batman!!! It sounds suppressed!!! But without a suppressor. The 457 version is called the CZ 457 Jaguar. It's wicked cool with subsonic ammo!
Great job on this video review! I don’t currently own a 7mm08, but love this short action cartridge! Maybe it’s time to sell my .375 H & H, get this dream cartridge! You did a great job on honestly evaluating this various makers!!
My tikka is fussy with ammo but the wife's new weatherby vanguard 270 win will punch one ragged hole at 100yds with win 130gr ballistic Silvertips, federal premium 130gr.NBTs,and hornady 130gr superformance cx. Doesn't matter what she grabes to go hunting cause these three will hit the same spot. That's impressive. I might need a vanguard in 7mm-08 but don't tell her that😬
3006 is my favorite I've got 2. ones a Springfield 1903 in mint condition ..wall hanger and a tika t3x fluted barrel and it loves 168 grn boat tail. I hand load it
Matches my experience as well. Nothing shoots as well as CoreLoks and Norma through my rifles in just about any caliber. When ammo first started becoming a little more available after covid, Norma Shooting was one of the firsts to start getting fairly reasonable priced ammo out there from the Georgia plant. I snatched up a bunch on 308 whitetail for $18 and 6.5x55 partitions for $21 and free shipping. I later found out the partitions were a close out, and now I kick myself all the time for not having broke the piggy bank and bought more. That stuff shoots lights out into clover leafs. Now their prices came way up, so not sure if they were trying to snatch some market share at the time, but it was a great deal on great ammo.
The 139 sst was one of the most consistant and accurate PROJECTILE in my handload research with 7-08, 280ai,7mm rem mag. Its performance in a tc 708 pistol was great. The superformance offering was great as factory ammo too( very very subjective)
Might be we use sst called the juntion special but the contricity on them suck the eld and eldx are much better but still not match of Sierra s the pro hunter is a one hole bullet I bet that game changer shoots much like noslers
Wish you would have put the Hornady Whitetails in the test. I shoot a Browning A-Bolt and they are very tight. I think the Superformance are more interested in creating more speed, and they sacrificed the groupings a little cause mine does the same thing with them.
There are so many variables and some rifles just do not like certain loads. Its a case of finding the one that it does like. But the 7mm bullet BC is so good, it would be hard to find a load that didn't work well. And of course as you work through the different loads, unless you let the barrel cool down to cold each time, you will get variability.
Im sure those federal 150 do well in my marlin. I use sako ammo aswell but in not a huge fan as it is expensive.... might have to try the core lock ammo . 7mm 08 is getting expensive here in nz
I watched a video with ron spomer...try cleaning the barrel before you shoot the GMX and after ...before you shoot another brand of ammo to see if that changes
Well I have owned five rifles in 7mm-08 and a model 700 shot the best. Used hornady 120gr. HP. They put lights out on whitetail deer. Always come back to 08 for a good reason it just works. Light bullets at 3000fps is Awesome.
I was just at the range yesterday with my Tikka T3X model Hunter 7mm-08 . Hornady American Whitetail 139 grain was grouping 2.75” . Unacceptable ! Going to try the Hornady Precision Hunter 150 grain ELDX . But I think I’m going to try some of the Norma 150’s as well . I just didn’t care much for the relatively low BC and low energies out beyond 200 yards on those flat nosed projectiles but if they’re grouping under an inch it’s all good . I know there are better options but for the cost 💲 I think the Norma is a good choice
Hy Adam, I have 2 rifles in 7.08 they shoot very very well . Of course I reload , Sierra 120 grs for my Seven, and some Scenar Lapua 150 grs and Hornady 162 grs HPBT for Sig Arms, always sub-moa, sometime 1/4 Moa. The Ruger M77 is a good rifle, but I think the stock need some job .😊
My savage axis throws the Norma 150s excellent 3 touching at 100yds. Thought it was the savage cause I’ve never shot Norma. Only bought them cause you use them! But it looks like Norma makes a good round. Great video as always! Hey you ever find a 10mm lever action?? Your the guy to ask
I have a Remington 700 cdl, and my son has a Winchester 70 Featherweight, both in 7mm-08. Great round for Caribou up here. But dang, finding ammo is a challenge. I've been wanting to handload for years and this cartridge may be the tipping point to start.
The 7-08 really shines with handloads. Seems like the ammo manufacturers purposely underload that round and if you want to bring it to it's full potential you must do it yourself. The 308 family of cartridges are super easy to load for. I gave up looking for good factory ammo and do it myself these days.
Dropped 2 deer at 120 yards with the hornady 139 gr sst. They didn't take a step. Ruger American go wild 7mm-08. Love it
Awesome
Nice ! I have the .308 version .

Find Sierra pro hunters 120/140 those should work best average wise

I own a Sako 85 Laminated Stainless in 7mm08. I prefer 150g projectiles as well. They work well with around 45g of AR2209 (H4350) pushing them.
H-4350, I use imr-4350 with 150 gr sierra game kings.
Holes touching.
Saw my brother shoot 2 deer with a 7mm-08 both dropped instantly. The 280 I used had the same effect but more recoil.
Nice 🦌🦌
I'd really like to see more 25-06, good video, I was glad to see some Nosler ammo!
More 2506 soon
My rifle loves the hornady whitetail softpoints and remingtons. But it really loves PPU softpoints…all 140 grn
I need to try those too
I think the hornady SSTs have the best ballistic coefficient of these rounds. In case anyone is wondering I may be wrong but I know I use 139 grain SSTs for their ballistic coefficient in my 7mm magnum and it should be the same bullet
Haven’t seen that many total boxes of 7mm-08 in one place in 2 years.
Same. Been hard to find
I'm a 7mmO8 fan boy and you guys just haven't been to my house, yet. I've got 11 boxes RTG and another 200 rounds at the reloading table
Wow those are impressive loads! Sounds like good stuff!
@@jessetherrien7851 those are just book loads. That powder turned that gun into a different rifle.
Impressive velocities.
Any 120 or sst works around 2800 same w the 6.5 if it prints it goes hunting rem core s and speer gs imr 4350 45.0 rl 17 46/47 nice tight groups
Love this cartridge! Good video Adam.
Thanks for watching!
I hand load Nosler Ballistic Tip 120gr and 140gr in my Remington Model 7. Both loads will group just under an inch consistently. But I couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn using Nosler Partitions of the same weight.🤷♀️
Some really good. Some good and some not good. Appreciate it. Great deer & even elk offering.
Thanks wtw 👍👍
Thanks for watching Lance
My Savage loves those Core Lokt bullets, too.
I shot many times and used 4 kinds of ammo..fed, norma and hornady..140 seemed the best size grain..even the 140 hornady reloading bullets soft point..never failed me with 1 to 1.3 inch diff at 100 yards..so i stay with what works..
I sighted mine in with Hornady Lite and Norma Whitetail (all that I could find at the time). Both were sub 1" @ 120 yds.
At 100 yards slow fire it gives me about 1.5 inch group
I might buy a Ruger American in 7mm--08 after this video
I am starting to hand load a few test rounds for my 7mm08. I have test fired a few H 87 grain in my .243 and found my spots at 100 Yards.
My .223 is shooting a 0.750 group at 100.
Cool video thanks.
Thanks for watching
The only stuff I can find is the 150gr hornady eld-x. Which is fine, cause I can drop a whole box into about an inch and a half without slowing down.
Hard to find the 7mm-08 for a while now
This is going to be a fun video! Great round, thinking of buying one for myself since I already have a 7mm rem mag. Would be a good match for reloading when i dont want to use the 7mm!
Thanks for watching Tom
@@WHOTEEWHO I try to watch all your video's, you put a smile on my face each time! Sorry, I wont buy core-locket ammo, i reload my own!
I think Hornady dropped the ball on those loadings. Also, I know the Federals did really good on the last video!🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲
Isaiah 43:11
11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
@4:39 I already know I'm gonna like this video. AND...you are doing 7 different loads...love it!
My 7mm-08 loves Precision Hunter 150s and Nosler 140s. 139 SST not good in my 7mm-08. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching Steven
Ruger 7mm-08 American has a fast twist and makes me wonder how well it would do with heavier bullets. Glad I stocked up on the Norma Whitetail when the local farm supply chain had cases of them
Another fine caliber for deer hunters to choose from. Plenty of knock down with not to bad of recoil. Thanks again WTW for sharing great things for the BING BANG COMMUNITY. 💪🏽💪🏽💯👍
🦌🦌🦌
Wow. We have a couple of 7mm-08.
Tikka and Ruger American Predator.
The hornady American 139 interlock shoot good.
Typically we use 140 or 150 gr hand loads.
150 gr sierra game kings with a healthy dose of imr-4350 - are hard hitters and will shoot 1/2”-
Or less.. the 140 accubonds are extremely accurate- one hole.
Try Remington Core-Lokt. Every model 70 and 670 I've seen has loved it. Good luck!
@@erockoutdoors633 Thanks. Appreciate the info. This is a new rifle and I've got to get it sorted out soon. The season is fast approaching.
Good luck this season everyone.
Out of that group my money would be on the oryx
@@jasonforester4572 I have a 457 "trainer." Never tried a 455 I don't think
It would be great if you also used the Cono-graph
Great job on this video review! I don’t currently own a 7mm08, but love this short action cartridge! Maybe it’s time to sell my .375 H & H, get this dream cartridge! You did a great job on honestly evaluating this various makers!!
Thanks for watching
Thanks for the video brother we enjoyed it .
Try the nosler accubonds
Love the 7mm-08 for deer. Have two of them, and typically grab my Kimber Montana when the weather is bad.
🦌🦌🦌
My tikka is fussy with ammo but the wife's new weatherby vanguard 270 win will punch one ragged hole at 100yds with win 130gr ballistic Silvertips, federal premium 130gr.NBTs,and hornady 130gr superformance cx. Doesn't matter what she grabes to go hunting cause these three will hit the same spot. That's impressive. I might need a vanguard in 7mm-08 but don't tell her that😬
Excellent video! Very thorough.
Thanks for watching Tim
Just got a weatherby vanguard in 7mm-08. Was hitting steal at 500yards no problem. Love it.
Very nice
You really need to get a EC tuner. I have three now with plans to get two more. Insane how good they work. Well worth the money.
Have one
hi I was wandering if the ammo test would also be the same result using my ruger 7mm 08 generation 2
3006 is my favorite I've got 2. ones a Springfield 1903 in mint condition ..wall hanger and a tika t3x fluted barrel and it loves 168 grn boat tail. I hand load it
Off a wobbly rest I bag the front squeeze the rear bulls bag the barrel Helps
I’ve taken several coyotes, whitetail, mule deer, & elk with my 7mm-08 using 140gr Nosler e-tips.
Awesome
Just ordered some 7mm-08 ammo for my son today. Great video!
Awesome
That's all I have used since the early 80s is Rem 140s pure slayer.
Thanks for the video Adam
Thanks for watching
The 139 sst was one of the most consistant and accurate PROJECTILE in my handload research with 7-08, 280ai,7mm rem mag. Its performance in a tc 708 pistol was great. The superformance offering was great as factory ammo too( very very subjective)
Doc, I'd love to hear more about your experiences and loads with that 7-08 Encore pistol barrel. It's 15 inches, correct?
Might be we use sst called the juntion special but the contricity on them suck the eld and eldx are much better but still not match of Sierra s the pro hunter is a one hole bullet I bet that game changer shoots much like noslers
Wish you would have put the Hornady Whitetails in the test. I shoot a Browning A-Bolt and they are very tight. I think the Superformance are more interested in creating more speed, and they sacrificed the groupings a little cause mine does the same thing with them.
I will be picking up a Ruger go wild in 7mm08 tomorrow my second 7mm08.
Yeah my ruger American loves the norma white tail 3 in the same whole
There are so many variables and some rifles just do not like certain loads. Its a case of finding the one that it does like. But the 7mm bullet BC is so good, it would be hard to find a load that didn't work well. And of course as you work through the different loads, unless you let the barrel cool down to cold each time, you will get variability.
Just out of curiosity what do you think of those wheeler rings?
I like em
Im sure those federal 150 do well in my marlin. I use sako ammo aswell but in not a huge fan as it is expensive.... might have to try the core lock ammo . 7mm 08 is getting expensive here in nz
As usual, another great video.
I watched a video with ron spomer...try cleaning the barrel before you shoot the GMX and after ...before you shoot another brand of ammo to see if that changes
Definitely go with Norma.
Dead center and tight group. Pluss 150gr.😁👍👍👍
Is it a bonded bullet?
Well I have owned five rifles in 7mm-08 and a model 700 shot the best. Used hornady 120gr. HP. They put lights out on whitetail deer. Always come back to 08 for a good reason it just works. Light bullets at 3000fps is Awesome.
My Weatherby likes the fist and last (120& 150grn) haven't found anything in between yet but ironically it'll shoot 120 and 150 under 0.5 inch
Howdy WHO_TEE!
Howdy
Check the action screws. If the rifle has bedding blocks torque that bolt 1st and snug the other bolts but not enough to flex or bend the receiver.
👍👍
Man I run those norma whitetail in my 270 and they are awesome. Keep up all the great videos!
Thanks for watching Daniel!
And I love 7-08 by the way. Great cartridge
That butterfly was cold blooded. Didn’t even flinch
Yup been hard to find the ammo
The 7-08 really shines with handloads. Seems like the ammo manufacturers purposely underload that round and if you want to bring it to it's full potential you must do it yourself. The 308 family of cartridges are super easy to load for. I gave up looking for good factory ammo and do it myself these days.
