Love this! You truly have figured out how to wear clothes that are flattering. I love the idea of not cutting our bodies in half with the clothes we wear. I have been putting it into practice and it really has made a huge difference❤ Thank you!!!
Thank you Chi! I’m a 5’1 plus sized apple body and your fashion hacks have revolutionized my wardrobe. I used to be so nervous to tuck in my shirts or wear shorter tops because of my tummy concerns, but I don’t worry any more! You’re right, the proper proportions look SO much better and more flattering, even with a large tummy like mine. I now get fashion and style compliments on the daily, and despite being able to see my height, people never believe how short I really am because your fashion hacks make me “appear taller” in their eyes!
All about balance! The long coat didn't look bad with that brown skirt because it was kinda of in same color family. I notice if I wear a jacket or blazer below my hips I look very "stumpy". Great one Chi!
Would love to see videos about colors! I’ve done color consultation in the past. The easiest way these days, I find, is just to hold the color against my face - does it brighten my complexion or make me more sallow? I’d love your expertise in this area. How to choose colors, how to mix and match. Your videos are a standout from all the other fashion videos out there. Gems!!❤❤❤
As a fellow petite, I always felt dumpy in cardigans until I discovered the new, shorter ones that just cover my waistband, they are so much more flattering than hip-to-thigh length ones on me. Very long, duster cardis are ok, but they don’t seem to be on-trend recently.
Hi Chi,alwys waiting for your new video.and its useful for us petite like me,and i had alwys an idea now on how to dressed up.more power on your video and GOD bless
When I was a young adult, in the late 70s to 80s, all skirts and dresses just covered the kneecap. There was a rule that the coat must cover the hems of them by at least an inch. I still love this length of skirt/dress, it hits at the narrowest part of the leg above the ankle, and follow the coat-length rule, or wear a high hip or shorter length jacket instead.
This is fantastic for autumn/ seasonal changes - I never know what to wear as it can be cold in the morning and sunny by afternoon. Also need to go clothes shopping now 😆
I have small shoulders so halter & off the shoulders look is out for me 😔 my denim flares are always my staple❤️❤️ stripes should be a small print the large stripes are overwhelming on a petite frame & florals ARE OUT for me because they make me look older.
I like to hem wide-leg trousers to 1 inch above the floor, too. Excess bunching at the bottom of the leg makes us look even shorter. I know the super-long pants, dragging on the ground, is trendy, but it’s sloppy, unflattering and impractical. One day’s wear of pants that long can ruin them.
I love your videos but can’t follow it fast enough because the pictures flash by really fast. Would be nice if you add a check mark and/or cross marks. This will be especially useful in the single pictures of lovely dresses but I cannot tell if it’s a Yes or a No. I hope my comment is useful and that you get to read it. Otherwise your tutorial is the best one out there!
The problem with long coats is I easily overheat, so I can't easily take them off and carry them with me. I don't like the feeling of sitting on a coat either (e.g. in public transport).
Just enjoy your fashions Here in this fine video Wearing some fine clothes Knowing you don't wear any Undergarments beneath them Make it even better to be wearing Open your blouse in the middle Chi That would be so nice a thing to see
I think a haircut will make you look younger and taller so you don't have to fuss too much with your clothes. Chop your hair and you will see a lot of changes!
I can't help it, but every time you are filming in your bedroom, my eyes are drawn towards the missing knob on your drawer. Have you tried to get a new one?

That's understandable.
"Petite" sounds more flattering than "short."
It's all about balance.
