The fool is the person who pays $10,000 for a “real” bag. I have a fake Louis Vuitton doctor bag, purchased in *suluxy* . I was carrying it into Neman Marcus. Several employees in the handbag area could not believe my bag was a fake. They were comparing my bag with “real” ones and they couldn’t see any difference. Mine cost me $200, real was $7500.
*suluxy* shows that fake and real ones are no difference in terms of material and quality so basically it’s just a waste of money paying so much on a purse…
Nothing wrong with you. The industry needs to ADJUST. If average if 5'4" that means Half of us are petite. Why are we being ignored, inconvenienced, and made to feel lesser than?
I've known the Rule of Thirds forever as applied to the arts--but I never dreamed it applied to stylish dressing, too. Thank you! (I'm 5' 7" and your videos help me a lot.)
"I will be sad but I would like to know that too" LOOOVED it, I subscribed at that :) Incredibly spot on video, thanks from a fellow 5'2 girl (Italian subscriber here)
As a nearly-daily midi-skirt and dress wearer, I agree, it’s much more difficult to layer over them than trousers, with getting good proportions lost. I either go for a short jacket, like a moto, or a full-length coat.
One other thing I love about your white trench is that it’s single-breasted, much better for petites, double-breasted styles add width, we want length.
Loving your channel so inspiring with women like me who is 5'4changed the way I dressed, thank you so.much loving the way you explain and wearing it in proper way.....
I have found your videos and they're the best. You really know how to put it all together! I'm 4'11, 105 lbs and have trouble with having a polished look. Just about all my pants and dresses need to be fixed even if I buy petite sizes. Some blouses are just too long. I have stuck with leggings and t-shirts because shopping can be so stressful! I am so grateful for your videos!!!
The one with the coat and the midi skirt!!! Finally! I’ve struggled for such a long time trying to figure out what’s wrong and how to fix it and finally figured it out. Thank you!
Thank you for your videos. But I don't usually use high heels every day. To me it's much more convenient to my everyday use flats. Big smile from Portugal.
Chi again you amaze me , thank you so much! . I love all your videos . You are helping so many petite women , I love your humor and that you show your outfits . I keep rewatching your videos there is so much information .
I've your style! You deliver great fashion advice in a fun way that is both helpful and reasonable. Down to earth, real and not stuffy or showy. Keep it coming!!!
This was really helpful! I noticed I'm doing some of these already! Can you please do a guide to flat shoes with skirts and dresses for every season? I really can't wear heels...
@@PetiteDressing I would love a flats-only video. A lot of us can't even do a low wedge and like EVERY video is: "heels always" "looks wrong without a wedge or heel." I messed my feet up early on with heels and I am not alone.
This was so informative! Why wasn’t your channel suggested sooner?! I knew I was always drawn to cropped or mid thigh length jackets and now have a better understanding as to why (I’m a petite subtle pear shape). I’ll definitely be checking for how to style a denim jacket since I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect one (my square frame can make it challenging to find one that flatters me). Thank you again for this wonderful content!
I am also 5ft 2in and really appreciated the video on jeans and different lengths. I had no idea it made such a huge difference in how long my short legs could look. Thank you so much!
Hiya Chi, you should list your Petite Dressing e-book in every description box, I only found it by checking out your blog. I think many of us smaller gals would enjoy it, I did. You could mention it on videos sometimes, too.
Although I am not petite, I'm really enjoying your videos. I appreciate that you are pear shaped like me and have awesome tips for dressing the long torso, short legs body. Thank you!!
Your tips are really great! When my schedule frees up, I’m going to binge watch your videos and take notes about everything you’re showing us. I really appreciate your helpful content!
I am amazed how well the midi skirts look on you. I am 5'2" and I look and feel frumpy in a midi, so I either go full maxi or a hem just below the knee. I am going to try your style. Thank you for this excellent video. 👏
I love your style. You are so pretty. I’m 5’ and have trouble dressing in a way that doesn’t make me look like a teen (I’m in my 30s). Your channel is great!
Love your channel! You truly understand petite proportions. Please could you do a video for an apple shaped petite I.e. larger mid section? I know petites are supposed to tuck in their tops, etc, but that doesn’t work so well if your mid-section isn’t slim.
I totally understand Sonia (especially as I'm an apple myself). If you don't tuck, you can also go with peplum style tops or jackets, which defines waist but covers tummy!
I only wear skirts/dresses, so I've never considered layering with them to be difficult! I was kind of excited to see that most of what I do are the things you recommend!
i just discovered your channel as it was recommended to me by youtube, and i'm glad the algorithm did! i love your style and this is something i want to achieve too; clean elegant lines that are playful yet sophisticated! i'm also 4'11" and i will definitely take your tips into consideration! thank you and more power to you and your channel!
This is the first video of your channel I’m watching, and already a fan! I really like how you asked to like or to dislike to video, really refreshing. You got a like from me 😊. I really like the ideas you have so far (still have to finish the video), your personality and how you are presenting this video. I for one am really glad TH-cam suggested this video.
I used your link to buy the petite maxi trench from Macy’s, I love it! Being 5’ 0” I didn’t think I could wear a coat this long but it’s very flattering...thanks for another great tip.

Just put them on 😊
