You’re the best petite stylist, maybe even the best stylist, overall on YT! You have the critical eye and the self-objectivity that is essential for choosing and wearing apparel well. Also, you put in the work to determine why a look is unflattering, and how to make changes to improve it. Thanks for all your analysis and advice, Chi❤
Good morning, Chi! Just wanted to share constructively, the music is a bit loud and making it difficult to hear your great advice as usual, I’m certain!
I like your videos alot better without the background music. Especially vocals in the music the same time you're talking! Very distracting. Other than that I love your videos.
I got a lot of compliments yesterday on my monochromatic ivory outfit, even though it was just a cashmere leggings and sweater set. I put a very light-neutrals check blazer over it and some beige suede sneaker mules (to slip them off easily). I had to have extra ease and comfort for getting an MRI at the end of the day and it was perfect. I was allowed to go in for the scam in my clothes, which is nice in winter as we had to go outside to another building. (I also made sure I had no jewelry on and wore a hardware-free bra, of course). But, I didn’t expect compliments, I’m rarely so casually dressed, unlike most other Americans. The blazer dresses up everything, of course, and gives much-needed structure to soft outfits like this one.
Wearing tighter top tucked into wide trousers/jeans is my favorite trick👌 I have narrow-ish hips and wider shoulders. an outfit like this works nicely to balance the proportions 👍
Love all the outfit.. You look so élégant 👌. I'm almost 5"7 and my problem is the sleeves. I have long arms, so the sleeves are many time, to short... So I roll them up and put on jewelery 😉🥰. Thank you for all those recommandations... I'll share you're video to my " petite " friends, they will vert much appreciate and I'm sure they'll press on the subscribe button 🥰
Just found your channel. I'm also 5'2" and am happy to learn that my monochrome outfits and preference for wide leg pants aren't just good in my eyes but actually do make a difference at my height. Subscribed ❤
The music is too loud, it is competing with the content, please dear youtubers learn that if people wanted to listen to music they would play what they want and not go to fashion video for it. Please, your content is useful, allow it to be heard, either very low volume instrumental slow paced music or no music at all, it is really annoying struggling to hear the content over it
I like your tips but very hard to watch with extremely loud music. Personally, I don't think music is at all necessary for fashion videos, but that's just me.
Suggest a finished edge , proper hem, for all types of pants & jeans. Doing that , plus your great advice , will easily & instantly elevate the overall look . 🥰
I just love your channel, such good information! But can a 50 year old wear such short skirts and still look good , especially in the Spring and Summer????
You are really an incredible at understanding the geometry and math of petite frames unlike anyone else . I did have a question if you could possibly address in an upcoming video. I am torn about wearing platform shoes ( giving me 3 inches ) versus lower heeled pointed shoes ( giving me 1 - 2 inches extra , and I can’t tolerate any higher don’t discomfort ) underneath my flared pants . I currently wear the platforms shoes underneath mimicking Victoria Beckham . The issue I have had is sometimes the pant leg goes too long and can get some wear it from getting the floor . Also if the platform peeks through they are always a rounded toe box . I feel safe and like the extra 3 inches in the platform , however they don’t come in a pointed toe box . I would love your input on platforms versus pointed shoes underneath flare bottoms .
@@taturpin Sure, but not hearing the speech is a shame... and since the other videos on the channel don't have this annoying background music, I preferred to point it out. If the majority of other users (like you) appreciate this innovation, the channel will only lose a few followers... including me ;-)
I found it helpful to take off my headphones and read it with closed captioning. It is very helpful in certain situations. Such good information, it would be sad to miss it.
I'm 5' tall and weigh 95 lbs. Unless it's very fitted, I find short sleeved t-shirts make me look boxy because, with sleeves they are basically the shape of a square. A sleeveless top on the other hand, either with, or without a turtleneck, is the shape of a rectangle and immediately makes me appear longer, instead of wider.
At 5’4” and over 60, the short skirts might not look great on me. Perhaps I should try a slightly longer length-like just above the knee. You however look fabulous.
I always tuck in my tops, and wear short/cropped sweaters (that just cover my waistband). It makes a huge difference, those long, baggy shirts and tunic tops just turn our female shapes into big blocks. About 20 years ago, I always felt so frumpy. I tried everything in my wardrobe on and realized it was those long tops, they made even my relatively long legs look stumpy and my figure look like a brick. No thanks! It amazes me that so many women still wear them, they went out of style before Y2K, anyway. I’m 63 and normal weight, and yes, my tummy is rounded now, too, but it looks much worse with a tent over it, which clings to the biggest part. Whenever I see a Woman of a Certain Age with one of those big shirts on, it reminds me of the very unpleasant Martha Stewart!
The music is unnecessary, loud, and distracting. I want to learn from you, not from the song. Please don’t add any music to your videos; your information is being overpowered by it.
nice video, you are doing a beautiful effort, props !~ But maybe try to speak a little faster an a bit less like youre talking to a 4 years old and youl have a better result
Your videos are amazing. I would appreciate it if the background music volume is lower because it really affects the quality of your audio ❤
Especially the songs, it's like the singer's voice is competing with Chi for our attention 😅

no music please 💕 thanks for the video.
The background music is a bit too loud otherwise great video! Thanks for helping us petite women dress better 😊
Your content is always so helpful to me. It’s not easy to find style tips for a short-waisted, petite body.
Good morning, Chi! Just wanted to share constructively, the music is a bit loud and making it difficult to hear your great advice as usual, I’m certain!
Yes I agree. The music is too loud
I can’t recall it ever being like this before.. just a flub, I think. I couldn’t listen.. just muted and read the closed captions.. @@karenthomas4575
Agree!! Don’t need music!!!
Agree, without music a lot better
I agree, the music is too loud
I wish you could link the pieces you're wearing in this video. I especially love the cropped cardigan!
Love the blue blazer with the white skirt/shorts!!
The shorter length skirt and shorts with longer jackets is so helpful, thank you so much!
Best video for petite styling. Straight to the point for before and after.

Another helpful video. I have gotten so many useful tips for dressing a 5’3 body!🤩
We have the same height, that’s why I like this video because I know now how to wear my clothes.Thank you for this

....that's our Chi, spot on as always:)

The instrumental music is okay for my ear, but music with singing confuses my brain.
Thank you for all of your efforts, your videos are so helpful 💕

Love this Chi! Awesome useful & informative video! You look great as well! 👍💖
I agree about the music
I love all your outfits, especially the black outfit combinations. I need more black in my wardrobe after this.
You give the best fashion advice!

Thank you so much, Chi! ❤
WOW excellent tips!!! I learn soo much from you! Thank you!!
Can you do some videos for plus size petites?
Shoes/ sandals links would be wonderful! So lovely.

Totalmente de acuerdo…
The high pitched tone of voice is unbearable too. Another blogger, Audrey Coyne, has such a lovely soft voice. Cannot listen tonthis.
I am not Petite but Oh my Goodness do I learn from you. The tiniest nuance in inches can finesse the silhouette. Wow.
Chi is just a pure genius
I like your tips but very hard to watch with extremely loud music. Personally, I don't think music is at all necessary for fashion videos, but that's just me.
Agree with every point. Great video!
❤❤❤ I’ve always wanted to try those shoes too!
Hey girl!!
I like you videos, a lot good points and ideas!
Your videos are always very helpful ❤.
Love your content 🙂
Your videos are much better without music x
Great hacks....love your videos!
Your videos are my favorite

I just love your channel, such good information! But can a 50 year old wear such short skirts and still look good , especially in the Spring and Summer????
For me, obviously, not. My thighs and knees not in the best shape, I don't tan. And also I think it's inappropriate to my age. So - no.
Wear whatever you feel good in no matter your age!!
amazing hacks, thank you Chi.
Good evening Chi!
I love your videos so much.😊
You are the best.
Best greetings from AUSTRIA/ Europe

love your input on platforms versus pointed shoes underneath flare bottoms .
If you are comfortable, you feel confident. It's important for looks : better posture, walking, standing without thinking about every movement.
Thank you for your input I appreciate it !
Oh no, why the loud music in the background? I can't concentrate on your interesting content any more!😢
Agree, I couldn't watch it, too stressful
The music is too loud and the vocals are very distracting.
Hi love your suggestions but in 75 and can’t wear very short skirts anymore
Love your chanel.
Where did you get the taupe purse? Great ideas although I really thought you rocked the straight leg jeans!
My right foot is size UK4.5, and left is size 5. I buy size 5 and use insoles in the right shoe.
Great info, wish I could get you to dress me haha I'm a short hot mess
Amazing video kindly make video on summer outfit in India summer is on the way
Wonderful advice. Can you tell us where you bought your necklace?
Where did you get your long sleeved contrast top? It's gorgeous. Love your advice.😊
the music in the background is very disturbing... I had to close the video which I would have loved to watch. I am sorry
You could mute the video if the music is disturbing to you. The images speak for themselves.

You could use the captions while on silent

Do a shoe episode! Sincerely, size 5 shoe wearer 😊
No music please, reupload without
Not understanding how two-colored pointed-toe shoes are elongating ~ ? For me, they seem to shorten the leg ~ ?
Where to buy the 👖 Jeans from minute 2;24 please,You look great on those
Merci pour ces bons conseils que j essaie de comprendre puisque je ne parle que le Français.
I like your channel a lot, I would love to see you with a new Haircut ❤
❤❤❤
All good except short skirts. I’m not comfortable showing my legs
At 5’4” and over 60, the short skirts might not look great on me. Perhaps I should try a slightly longer length-like just above the knee.

I can't wear a short skirt. How else can I style a longer jacket
where is she from?

the music is too loud, Chi
Please loose the background music,..it is conflicting with your dialogue,..which I want to hear.
You cannot compare sneakers and high heeled shoes. They are not worn in the same circumstances.
You have very beautiful slender legs! That's why you look amazing with mini skirts
The music is unnecessary, loud, and distracting. I want to learn from you, not from the song. Please don’t add any music to your videos; your information is being overpowered by it.
Poor audio quality with audio too loud made tips less easy to take in. Lower volume no vocal music always best
I couldnt watch for even a minute because the music is so loud
nice video, you are doing a beautiful effort, props !~ But maybe try to speak a little faster an a bit less like youre talking to a 4 years old and youl have a better result
No need in doing this. Perfect temp for giving only useful understandable information.
The tempo is perfect , and the results speak for themselves!
