Goodness Marcia, your comments seem way higher than when you did SW. I think this is going to work for you. I’m ideal weight thanks to doing Zoe for health not weight loss and wouldn’t personally use a slimming club again, but I do think WW is probably one of the best. I always found it easy to follow in the past when I used it. I think their pre prepared meals are pretty horrible though, unless they’ve improved! Good luck, I think you are going to find it much better than SW and I think it will work.
I really like the app to be honest and enjoy not having a face to face group. I’m kind of doing a blend of WW whilst calorie counting but I’m happy and losing weight so it’s working so far. Yes, deffo more comments. Early days but I think there are so many British TH-camrs doing SW but not so many doing WW. That’s what it seems like anyway. Have a lovely day xxx ❤️
I have a bottomless cuppa. Honestly I'm in real danger of turning into a cup of tea one day! Lol! So I found the best way for me to keep track of the milk in mine is to weigh my cup as I make it - I weighed each cup I made for a whole day because it's not always the exact same amount of milk I add each time - then I add those up and then divide it by the number of cups I made to get my average per cup so I know going forward what *my * cups are worth calorie-wise. I have full bore milk though which I know makes a difference, but semi/skimmed milk just tastes odd to me, and FF is about 96% fat free anyway so 🤷♀ I think your round-up about the points vs the calories at the end is very smart, because I reckon this is why so many people either fail to stick to a plan or find their plan too restrictive, beause they don't take the time to ease into things at the beginning. plus, if you are allowed to earn your points back through exercise, then keeping a calorie track alongside will be very useful! Besides, some days you are just hungrier than others and that's just part of being alive it think, so you need the wiggle room 😉 xx
I just joined a couple of days ago. Never done anything like it. I just know that counting calories drives me mad and makes me obsess. I think it seems really easy to follow! I just focus on the zero points stuff and I only have to worry about the little bits around the edges, like the condiments or some starches.
What I do for milk in coffee is, the kind I use has 35 calories in 100 mL. I have a little jar that is 100 mL. Every morning I fill my little jar with milk and that is my milk for that day. I track the 100mL at once, so I don't have to do it every time I have a cup. and if I have any left at the end of the day, I use it up the next day BEFORE I add more, so I'm getting some extra (but it's already tracked, so it's "fair"!) I love that I can still track the milk but not have to do it each and every time. also some days I know I'm going to need way more, I'll just refill it and track another 100 mL, no big deal.
Me and my mom do that she doesn't have milk in her coffee so she only does it for her breakfast but with me I use a little jug and measure out half a pint for my breakfast and my cuppas for throughout the day it's such a time saver
I hope you love the treadmill. I have one, but rarely use it. I do wish mine had an incline. Has yours? You will probably love being able to earn WW points. I used to like that. You look as though you are in nice countryside. Are there walks close to you? I do know that being near farmland doesn’t always mean you can walk. I’m lucky to have woods nearby and a cavalier King Charles as my personal trainer 🤣. Hence I seldom use my treadmill. I’d love a peloton one but so expensive and I’m doing weights and resistance training plus a lot of yoga as well as averaging around 15,000 steps a day. Im not sure I can manage much more. I’m also 70. Don’t look it but my body does remind me sometimes!
The treadmill worked great. Yes it had an incline. I’m starting back on my weights next week but fancy treadmill for when weather is bad and I need an incline cardio day. I can go walking here but quite muddy at the moment. 5 minutes to the river bank but lots of nice walking around. Ah I do miss my dog so much. You sound lovely and active hun … Keep it going xxx

Out of interest did you weigh those oil sprays? I know for me it can be surprising how quickly they add up since you only get 1 tablespoon of oil or butter for about 120 calories.

I would put my daily allowance of milk in a jug in the fridge and then u know how much u have had xx
