Emy, I love this pen! After looking at your review twice, I had to put this "blu" HS fountainpen on my wishlist. And that is something because the other pens of the serie never attracted me. I don't know what it is why this happened, I know that it is different than the other HS pens, and I felt your enthusiasm, I guess that's something what's important for me. At this moment I'm very satisfied with the "van Gogh". So a new fountainpen at this moment is not possible. But in a few months I will make a new choice, and then I'll need your advice. Thank you for your time and this new review Emy, and see you soon again!
Hey Harry 💙 thank you So much for your support and appreciation 🙏🏻 “blu” because that’s how Italians name it 😎 anyway I was very impressed by it and I really struggle from not getting one myself and I think I will pull the trigger … I need this blu pen 😆 enjoy the Van Gogh and keep me posted with your writing experience
What a beautiful blue it is by Visconti. I am sure Emy if you claim then they will happily pay Royalty to you (hahaha). Thanks for the detailed review. I love Visconti pens. Don't know why did they do away with the hook safe lock and the 18K Gold nib. I fully believe you that the 14K nib is juicy and soft. It looks quite wet. Well I am loving it....Thank you.
Thank you K - i think that these pens are made to be more practical and a less costly variation of the HS Bronze Age, still lava but the nib being 14k and the lack of the Hook Safe Lock makes it less expensive and more practical
Question for you. I got this in a 1.3 stub, and it’s the worst nib I’ve ever had. Hard starts. MAJOR railroading, starts and stops constantly. Any insight?
hey MC - I would first contact the retailer where you ordered the pen in order to arrange a repair with the manufacturer or the distributor (if you live in US for example every problem is run through Coles of London - the US Visconti distributor) - there is another chance to send it to a nib mister for some nib work - in this case I can put you into contact with my good friend Mark the nib grinder (if you are from US) or if you are from Europe I can help you myself if you send the pen here. And for future to avoid these - contact me when you want a pen and it will come with the nib checked and adjusted prior to shipping - cost included :D
Hey Blake - im not sure it looks cheap, at this moment many choose this process on the manufacturing process of pens, I'm pretty sure it would look dope in the old style, but it is what it is
Oh my goodness!!!! Such a beautiful color. Thank you for sharing this color with us, Emy!!!
Hey Marianne - thank you my dear for your feedback 🙏🏻💙 i love this Blue

@@pen.venture thank you! I’d love to contact with Mark to make it great!
I hope they make one in green!
I think green is the NexT one - unless they go with the playful turquoise 😆
@@pen.venture either one would be nice!
Laser engraved clip cheapens their pens. I wish they went back to the old style.
