Las Vegas is an amazing city, but sometimes you forget that you're in the middle of a desert. If you want to get away from the Strip and see some of the amazing nature nearby, one option is to take a daytrip to Grand Canyon West. It's about 2 hours away from Vegas and you are probably going to see people selling tours to it everywhere you walk along the Vegas Strip. In this video, I'll tell you what to expect on a daytrip to Grand Canyon West, some of the great pitstops you can take along the way, what the different sites at Grand Canyon West look like, and what to expect from your visit.

If I remember, it was around $50 for admission to Grand Canyon West and another $20-25 for the skywalk (and more money if you want a picture up there). They do offer package deals where you can get both tickets plus a meal.
