      @@portcity1911 Factory wiring is undersized for the current pulls on Hi Fi Audio Systems. Upgrading to a Stranded Copper Wire is more flow and less resistance. Think of it as Water going thru pipes. You can't get a 1 inch pipe to flow like 4 inch pipe. THe factory alternator is rated to barely provide for modern day electronics. A cap stores energy for the instant demand but falls if its not getting the correct current in the first place. Hence why Pro systems moved to Lithium Batteries.

    Hey I have a 2019 Camry LE and I have two Q-class L7 12 and a CXA 1800.1 and it has been a long journey getting my car to supply enough power to get the amp to see rated power i started out with big3 all 0 gauge to the back and the Rockville 50 farad capacitor and still was seeing anywhere from 300-600 watts under rated power when clamping my setup those small capacitor are literally a waste of money and barely do anything trust me I know and with the Camry's pcm controlled charging system regulated at 13.8 vdc you are going to have a really hard time getting rated power from any setup over 1200 rms i have a double run of 0 gauge dual big 3 upgrade a 74AH Lev60 pro V2 from jag35 and a 375 farad super cap battery from ioxus and only recently after installing the lithium and supercap battery has my system started to actually slam and im seeing over rated power don't get me wrong I love my car so i made it work but trust me look into what im telling you you won't be sorry

    How well are the amps holding up? I found that the current camry has near 0 ventilation to the trunk. I had to tune my amps lower than the DD-1 said because of this despite using the same amps you have and having them open to the entire trunk. Yours just have the little cavity between the seats and the box so I figured your temps must get up there too.
    For the record, I don't mean the amps get hot to the point of protection just get hotter than standard operating temps, so I turned them down for longevity.

    • @MTXSE26
      @MTXSE26  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Amps are doing great. I did take off the black styrofoam looking thing towards the edge of the trunk near the seats .. I don’t run on them for long periods so I’m not worried about the heat if it’s even a factor. But ya toning them down should be good

    2 gauge wire from battery to capacitor, then 4 gauge to amps. SMH. First the wire from battery too your capacitor needs to be 0 gauge not 2 gauge. The OEM speakers utilize a NEO magnet, that is why they are so small. The wiring running under the back of that seat is being pinched and is going to cause issues later down the road. Glad you are happy with that install, I would have raised some questions to the shop on their install. BUT I know how to do this stuff myself. That fuse for that little 2 gauge wire should have a mount and not just sitting there able to bounce around under the hood. It does not look like factory either. I would be heated on that install.
