  • Come along with us as we visit a cave here in Tennessee that has two entrances. One is an entrance pit in which we rappel in. The second entrance is a 1 foot wide by 4 foot high squeeze. After we rappelled in, we all made our way out the tight squeeze in the bottom.

"It's a girl!" 😂That looked like fun, ya'll! And I agree, that entrance pit was beautiful, so many draperies and cool formations. Thank you for taking us along!

Beautiful cave! Both the entrance and exit were small! The exit made my skin crawl it looked so tight! Lol

It was a little snug for sure but I'd go back and do it again just for fun

I thought it was going to be 4 feet wide and 1 foot tall, 😂. Nope, one foot wide and 4 tall is a big difference!

Cavers have been exploring this region since the 1950's. Tennessee has more caves than any other state and nearing 12,000 known caves! We have been caving for 21 years and are members of the Tennessee Cave Survey so have access to data with written descriptions and maps. We also map caves. A lot of cavers go ridge walking in the winter looking for new caves. We also find them and sometimes have to dig them open.
