You really should replace it to insure you don't face any battery swelling in the future, which can apply pressure to internals, damage the display, and in the long run even "explode" under the right circumstances. I understand wanting to keep the price down on a repair video, but shrugging off a bent battery doesn't seem like something I'd do in a video that some people will be looking to for information on their own repairs.
it's actually not that terrible, for flying RC Quadcopters we use the same style LiPo pouch batteries and those things are getting abused all the time. It takes quite substantial and meticulous abusing to get one catching on fire. They puff a lot but almost never explode, they could catch fire though when they ripped open due to a crash. This battery on the video is probably fine, there weren't any visible sign of damage there. I'd have put that to a "stress test" before assembling it though, run a heavy game from 100% to 0% then charge it up. If no puffing where it was bent it is most certainly in good condition.
Actually the battery is good no creasing on the outside and it wasnt bend that bad and other reason why he didnt want to replace it beacuse if he replaced it with another battery it wont show battery health beacuse every battery is pared with its own device so there was no need to replace it and its probably still around 92-96% battery health

I have the same issue with my frame being bent on my iPhone 11 and screen being broken. My frame is not nearly as bent as this your's though, and only one top corner being bent out of shape, would it be a good idea just to bend it back instead of having to buy a whole new shell?

Probably because that message shows up on any display even genuine. Apple just restores the device before you get it back from warranty and you never see that message.
@@markm0000 You're kinda right. A genuine apple display will still disable FaceID and true tone. There's a cloud based program that is used that pairs the screen to the phone. For the batteries, there's another cloud based diagnostic app that does the same thing. *MOST* of the time, the user's data is safe (unless they're running a beta ios, then that cloud software bricks the device and forces a restore)
Videos like this should have proof of the purchase price. There's no way in hell he got that phone, with a clean iCloud for $75. The motherboard and Face ID modules are worth much more.
