BRO... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Keep making content!! I can't believe you only have 2 full projects on here. The production value you have here is like you've been producing content for years!! VERY well done and can't wait to see what you do in the future!!

Excellent book for the beginning woodworker, like me :) LOTS of joints are explained in great depth, and a decent overview of tools & basic techniques. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxcZqgZ8Ynkiz5n_LxIWRlAicuzmz5kCHG Personally, I'd have preferred fewer joints to be covered in favour of more in depth material on techniques etc., but still a very good book and worth the price

Side note: I watch project videos all the time. This is among the first times I have seen an upfront call out of the amount of wood required to make it happen. Excellent video feature. More people should do this.

Brilliant video and commentary - "if your piece does not resemble a table, apparently you are no good at wood working and you should choose a different career" - unfortunately for me i had a mouthful of coffee when you said this, which hence ended up on my computer screen as i laughed. Priceless !!!!

I have tried to watch woodworking project videos and in general I want to saw my fingers off by the time I'm half way (if not sooner) through with it. They are either so excited you'd think they just won the lottery or something or they are so boring they put me to sleep. You can be monotone, BUT you are truly entertaining and I really enjoy watching your videos. I don't often have questions about what you are doing or why. Which is great!
    Please keep making content!!!

Just found your channel today and I love it. Love the care you put into each project, but also your extremely detailed narration. That’s been my fav part. Like the point where you mentioned having the ends of the boards that make the top, to all be “growing” diff directions. Like when you drew the half circles? I have always heard people talk about taking into account how the word moves but I have never really had anyone explain to me how to go about that. So thank you so much for saying that.

I enjoyed this video. I came from popwood playback. I like the table and thank you not to speak too much fast like many TH-cam makers! English still pretty new language for me in France. Great looking table. Everyone but me probably already knew this, but if you use this method to have a thicker looking table edge, and paint it vs stain, seasonal movement, guaranteed, will crack the paint in every spot that the wood moves and turn your project into your next potting bench or spray paint table. Some lessons are learned the expensive way 😖

I used this method of making thinner stock appear thicker by glueing those boards underneath the top twice. Both times the table severely warped within a year. I believe because on two ends of the table, the grain of the boards that were glued underneath are perpendicular to the grain of the tabletop. Has anyone else had this issue? Also, how was the top attached? Did I miss it? Project looks great!

Huge fan! Great video. One question though. Iv always heard to allow for wood movement by attaching the base to the top with something that will allow for movement. Does screwing the table top to the base have any problems with this?
