    Thanks bro this was perfect on how to do it. I was all stressed out in doing it perfect and you made it way simpler than putting it on a mirror or anything

    Excellent video once email again. I ha e a quick question. Is this the same procedure for the cordless Andis T Liner GTX blade?

    This truly was a super cool video, totally. Even though it was posted some time ago, I've actually been so blessed by the Lord in getting into giving myself haircuts, many many years later as a young dude. I really like getting jiggy with a nice, crispy line- up after the fade. I've got some t- outliners, nothing to fancy like the Andis, but could be better. Thanks for the video.

    What happened to the picture you were going to take to show the blade?

    Your show is great! I'm a beginner starting on my own head but aiming to expand. How do I get Jeannie in America to modify my Andis clipper like yours? I'm in America.

    Thank you for posting another great video, Larry. Do you recommend buying the Andis zero-gapping tool?

      nukmike no not really just use your eye, then tighten slightly to hold your setting - then alternate between left and right screw to fully tighten

    easy enough good demo. Good to hear a brit as i live in north america and mostly get usa vids mate . Like the drilling of holes on housing. Think i will do that as i cant cut the housing from top off, as its a healthy and safety in my province and could get a fine .

      0.02 gap. You probably can start cutting after oil up.
      But after about 20 heads Zero gap them. Helps to clean and then a couple drops of clipper oil on them before you assemble back
      Run for about 30 seconds.
      Clean off, hit wit clippercided and off you go. I always test my mustache.

    Btw, what is your opinion on the blade setters they sell on the market?

  • @paulpotash856

    I am not a barber. I have a corded Andis T Outliner and using the Andis Blade Setter to get what I think is a good zero gap on a new set of blades so I can trim my goatee and mustache very nicely. I’m hoping to be able to use the T Outliner to get a close, clean shave of the stubby facial hair to about an inch away from the mustache and goatee. Right now that area is not smooth at all.

      The Clipper is not modified correctly that whole top half should have been cut off to access the tension screw

    Good day Larry The Barber Man I see the clippers case are half modified why didn't you/she modify the Clipper case all of the way that way you can get to the tension screw without removing the top cover and speaking of the tension screw why did you not check the tension screw to make sure that it's in the proper place. IE the click and half moon setting.

    What is the point of zero gapping, is it so you can shave your face closely? If zero gapping is better why didn't they set it like that at the factory?

    • @larrythebarberman
      @larrythebarberman  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Because they can cut a little to close for comfort in the wrong hands

    I use my drill vice. Much like the one that you use in you modify video.

    • @williebgoodtoot
      @williebgoodtoot 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Please do not use a drill and a drill Vise to put the holes in the cover because you're most likely to drill into the motor without a proper depth setting just modify the top and that surely will be enough to vent the clipper
