@CEONTHEMAKING I have been cutting my own hair for OVER 30 yrs..NEVER knew how to do this until TODAY...THANK YOU for sharing this info...bc this makes a HUGE difference!!
How complicated can this get? Videos that make it seem complicated are just trying to make it seem like black magic to deter people from learning how to do it themselves
This video gave me the confidence to adjust my Andis blade; not because it was not cutting close enough, but because it had become misaligned with use and rougher and rougher so that I could no longer stand it. It is running smoother than it has in years now. Thanks.
Thank you for the clear, easy to understand explanation. I was following the printed instructions that came with my T-outliner and was frustrated because the only “two screws” I read were the ones that go on the outer side. Watching the video, 3 minutes? Doing it the right way, problem solved. And no needless rambling on with needless length to keep people tuned in. You rock!
Great video!!!! I've been cutting my hair for years now. I think that i wasted a lot of money throwing away old Andis T outliner. Never knew how to adjust correctly. Thanks Man. Your video will save me a lot of money in the future.
Wow thanks for this video it solved my problem . With my t-liner and now I feel the difference . It also has made me realize why I was getting razor type burns after getting a line up at a local barbershop .
The best video by far! Excellent explanation of blade adjustment out of all of the videos and it is a textbook example for zero gaping yet! Ten thousand likes bro!
Just wanted to say thank you. Finally picked up a pair of these for personal use after years and this was the first video I found that explained it easily. Mine are working right now. Appreciate you bro.
I agree with @Frankie. What helped the most for me was how you did the part adjusting the under blade while leaving it loose. I wasn't doing that and was getting frustrated because they didn't cut close and they made a lotta noise which is usually an indication its misaligned i believe. Thanks for the video.
Weird that nobody mention this you say move it up but from whose perspective? In others words do you move it up towards the tip of the blades? Or do you move it back towards bottom of trimmers? You also did it very quickly and didn’t actually show “where you correct position” should be?
Fam Ive had my andis for about 2years I never knew they are adjustable I followed the video exactly! My lady says to me o lord he's playing with his toys I said these aren't toys they're machines. I have a little collection aw man thanks!!! I tried em a little bit aw man good lookn bro
I just bought the pivot pro Andis trimmers, and I was wondering does this work for the new/updated one as well? Because I noticed it hasn't been giving me the nice crisp/sharp outline I've looking for.
You know whats crazy i saw this video back in the day and i never realized it was you lol. Now you make tech content and i watch that too! Thats crazy.
Aye bro I preciate you fr. Just made mine barbershop ready! Normally would just replace my clippers but bought the replacement for $25 and it’s like new again after I dropped my andis clippers and the blade chipped.
A friend of mines adjusted my Andis T-Liner and I went to use it today for my baldy. My dome looks like a bruised apple. I was wondering why it hurt harder than this chick in high school who broke my heart. Good video man. About to get this done in the morning.
yea i did this and it cut sharp yet it would hurt the person since it was to close, i see people use these on youtube and get nice crispy hair cutting noise and lines , for me not so much
+E. VNDLL Same with me man. I've tried so many times, mirrors, steel plate, nothing works. Always slice my face up. I've seen where they sell a blade setter on line for like $30, I might just have to buy one. Sucks cuz everyone on line says this trick works great.
+E. VNDLL I just ordered a $15(with shipping) adjuster from Amazon that had real good reviews. It's plastic but only $15. I'll let you know how it works. It's called "on the money 10 second blade adjuster". Corny name but like I said, had great reviews.
I bought the OTM blade setter. Perfect adjustment, but my GTX T liner still doesn't give a sharp cut. I'm wondering if that's because the blades haven't been sharpened. At this point that's my only remaining option to try to gain a sharp cut.
THanks Boss... I just purchased my 2nd pair bc the 1st just wasnt cutting like i wanted them to, the new Trimmers werent cutting as tight until I followed your steps and BOOM, Sharp Linez baebeeeee
hi, nice vid by the way. my andis plate that sits in the blade broke. do u know where i can get a replacement blade. i seen on amazon they sell the clipper parts the upper and lower blade but not the grey metal part (plate) thats on the inside..
Bro what kind of screwdriver should I buy because the one I have only took out the first two screws and not the other two screws that are on the inside
It may take you a few times to set it just right. Also, after give adjusted them, make sure you're not pressing too hard or digging into the skin. The weight of the trimmer is all you should really need when you're lining yourself up.
Had to come back and comment again. BRA! My goatee is nice and tight. Not sure why the dislikes, probably didn't follow directions carefully and skipped the video. Again you are appreciated.
Thanks fam 👍🏽 I’ve owned these over & over for years and never knew how to make them sharp like the barber shop. I would buy new blades and they seemed duller than what I was working with … 💇🏾♂️
bout to save me another couple g's with this tip lol! thx fam! bought clippers for my sons during the pandemic and them jokers ain't seen the inside of a barbershop since! now they bout to get icy shapeups too?!? it's ON! 😂
great tutorial man. you made a delicate task very easy. watchers beware! do NOT completly line the inside blade with the guide blade, I fcuked my whole skin up, slashes and cuts every where. follow the video carefully and remember to lean and angle the blade foward after adjusting, before you tighten it
I did this but it was still cutting me a lil. The alcohol was burning a lil more than normal. But I think since I got a modified blade, I should've kept it angled when tightening. Instead I held it in my fingers then tightened
Clarence try not to use alcohol if possible,it will burn and darken your skim eventually.... alcohol free aftershave lotions are the best, and tee tree oil for antiseptic.....
Your video appears to be on point and better than other videos one barber advised me to do this against a mirror but I like your advice much better. Salaam
@CEONTHEMAKING I have been cutting my own hair for OVER 30 yrs..NEVER knew how to do this until TODAY...THANK YOU for sharing this info...bc this makes a HUGE difference!!
✌🏽
HELPFUL AF‼️‼️‼️ 20 YEARS AND I’M FINALLY JUST UNDERSTANDING THIS ‼️‼️ Much Appreciated King!
Bro.. I just got a pair for Christmas and was wondering why they wasn't sharp like at the barbershop.. but you saved the year.. thank bro!! 💯 💯 💯
😂😂
@@TheGreatest-4Eva yes he did
No gimmicks, no fancy-ness! Super helpful. Thank you!
Your the only one to explain this procedure in a fashion that you can actually understand step by step without it being to complicated 👍🏿
How complicated can this get? Videos that make it seem complicated are just trying to make it seem like black magic to deter people from learning how to do it themselves
this is the only video ive ever seen explaining it right
9 years later u still the man thanks brother
This video gave me the confidence to adjust my Andis blade; not because it was not cutting close enough, but because it had become misaligned with use and rougher and rougher so that I could no longer stand it. It is running smoother than it has in years now. Thanks.
How come you the only one explaining this. People just say take blade off and adjust. They didn’t want people to win. Appreciate you 🙏🏽
Thank you for the clear, easy to understand explanation. I was following the printed instructions that came with my T-outliner and was frustrated because the only “two screws” I read were the ones that go on the outer side.
Watching the video, 3 minutes? Doing it the right way, problem solved.
And no needless rambling on with needless length to keep people tuned in.
You rock!
You are the only one explaining this in detail and correctly. Thank you. 😊
Great video!!!! I've been cutting my hair for years now. I think that i wasted a lot of money throwing away old Andis T outliner. Never knew how to adjust correctly. Thanks Man. Your video will save me a lot of money in the future.
I was about to buy a sharpener and/or a new T-outliner. Thank you Thank you. They work just like they did 10+ years ago
I just got done adjusting my T Outliners blade. I ran my finger across them. Smooth like you said Bawse. Thank you very much.
That's wassup. Good luck! Practice makes perfect
Tario Thornton uhh
Dude...in the days of quarantine, I needed this info. Been having to trim my own hair and beard ....THANKS!
Big facts bro....big facts, my grooming needs to be addressed, I'm coming outta quarantine and getting bk to it
Wow thanks for this video it solved my problem . With my t-liner and now I feel the difference . It also has made me realize why I was getting razor type burns after getting a line up at a local barbershop .
How did you get the metal plate to stay on mines keeps sliding off?
The best video by far! Excellent explanation of blade adjustment out of all of the videos and it is a textbook example for zero gaping yet! Ten thousand likes bro!
I totally agree with you. Straight and to the point.
Thank you for the quick, simple, and close-up explanation. I've been baffled by the blades on my trimmers for years.
Same hear! Im ashamed to say how long I didn't realize this
Just wanted to say thank you. Finally picked up a pair of these for personal use after years and this was the first video I found that explained it easily. Mine are working right now. Appreciate you bro.
you just saved me money and time. Thanks for knowledge sharing.
Thank you bro. 10 years later is still useful
Precise and straight to the POINT . You snapped bro keep going I’m supporting the channel.
Im an idiot, i would just go and buy a new pair.. this dude saved me, thanks!! Now i have 4 perfectly fine clippers that just needed adjusting
Ahah. Me too. Ok going to buy some new blades, instead of new trimmer
Thank you, man. I inherited these from my late brother and I could figure out why they didn't cut as close as they did when he used them.
Just got T-outliner replacement blades for the Andis-II. Will be doing this
Greatly appreciate this tutorial. I now have a pair of perfectly working clippers, and originally thought I needed to get some more.
Thanks for the clear and concise tutorial. Short, sweet and to the point.
No doubt!
Yup great job explaining A+.
Agreed big time
I agree with @Frankie. What helped the most for me was how you did the part adjusting the under blade while leaving it loose. Weird that nobody mention this you say move it up but from whose perspective? In others words do you move it up towards the tip of the blades? Or do you move it back towards bottom of trimmers? You also did it very quickly and didn’t actually show “where you correct position” should be?

haha Dope! Appreciate the support!
Thank you for keeping it simple with the breakdown. My clippers are 🔥 now
Thanks bruh! Not a barber, but I use Andis on my facial hair. Very helpful!
Bruh, thanks so much for this informative info. I’ve been toying with these clippers trying to get them sharper. I’m excited to take them apart now.
Hi, must I adjust the blade when replacing the it?
Excellent explanation, concise, quick and to the point
Great job
Aye bro I preciate you fr. Just made mine barbershop ready! Normally would just replace my clippers but bought the replacement for $25 and it’s like new again after I dropped my andis clippers and the blade chipped.

Android300ZXNA LOL....yea, definitely don't want to adjust them too close!
Hahahahahhaha
😂😂
Bonjour la mienne attrape les cheveux lorsque j’attaque le dégradé même après réglages je ne comprends pas avez vous une solution par hasard 🙌
Is it possible to INCREASE the length it cuts. I'd like it to cut around 0.7 mm or 1/32 inches. I know there is a comb for 1/16, but I want 1/32.
what if the teo blades wont stay together my cutting blade keep fallong
Thanks for the vid. Thought mine were dead. You showed me how to save them. Cuts are fresh again.
Props bro! I nearly bought a new toutliner. This video saved me some 💰 💰💰
I appreciate the video. I attempted at home but this video with the flat surface trick was great. Thanks a lot
THANKS! Straight to the point with good camera focus & angles
Do you have a video; that instruct one how to clean ones andis outliner ?
What size star screwdriver they take ?
How you cut the load noise that it makes ?
Love this video...straight to the point ❤ ❤❤
Did this but mine still won't give me the sharp cut that i want. Is there something else I might need to adjust?

Very clear and concise! I like that part about angling it some. Very detailed, pun intended.
I just got a set of Andis T-Outliner and your video was very informative. I just thought you can plug em in and start cutting. (My own hair)
You can...this is only if you want to adjust them to cut sharper.
@@CEONTHEMAKING after watching your video my T's aren't cutting. I haven't adjusted them yet tho
how do you adjust the liners so that they don't lag? meaning, it seems like the cutting blade isn't moving back and forth properly.
Bro just got my t liners today just finished adjusting them perfect thanks bro👍🏿🤟🏿
THanks Boss... I just purchased my 2nd pair bc the 1st just wasnt cutting like i wanted them to, the new Trimmers werent cutting as tight until I followed your steps and BOOM, Sharp Linez baebeeeee
Now Im about to adjust my old trimmers and see if that was the problem!!! thanks Boss
fa sho!
hi, nice vid by the way. my andis plate that sits in the blade broke. do u know where i can get a replacement blade. i seen on amazon they sell the clipper parts the upper and lower blade but not the grey metal part (plate) thats on the inside..
PaperChaserNate you can get them at any local beauty supply store like sallys
Bro what kind of screwdriver should I buy because the one I have only took out the first two screws and not the other two screws that are on the inside
AWESOME!!💯🌍 did not know that was adjustable.
Man I wish I found this like 2 months ago. This saved me. Much thanks
Easy work thanks bro🔥
Thank for teaching me how to adjust my trimmers they just how I want them
i adjusted my blade the same exact way and i still cut my self up. any tips?
It may take you a few times to set it just right. Also, after give adjusted them, make sure you're not pressing too hard or digging into the skin. The weight of the trimmer is all you should really need when you're lining yourself up.

Anthony Mackie just taught me how to adjust clippers lol appreciate that
I'm bout to tighten up my edge up soon as I get hm from work
Dope. I adjusted the blades on mine and sprayed it with olive oil.
Just tried your method and it works, this was a great video. Thank you
does a new blade come 0gapped ???
Does griding the blade on a sharpening stone make a difference in the cut and is this way more effective?
Not sure...I've never done that before
SUBSCRIBED... finally solved my 5 year problem...lol
Thanks fam 👍🏽 I’ve owned these over & over for years and never knew how to make them sharp like the barber shop.
I would buy new blades and they seemed duller than what I was working with … 💇🏾♂️
I been looking at some videos & this 1 worked in 1 try. came out sharp! on point bro Good looks!😎😎😎
Ay bro when you adjust the blade and tighten up those two screws again do they have to be super tight or just snugged up ?
Nope...just make sure its snug. no need to make it super tight
Thanks for the upload
Hopefully this helps me to get a closer shave. Thanks.
bout to save me another couple g's with this tip lol! thx fam! bought clippers for my sons during the pandemic and them jokers ain't seen the inside of a barbershop since! now they bout to get icy shapeups too?!? it's ON! 😂
ive tried this way and still get cut
Mine are too sharp but this helped me adjust it thanks
Would this be considered zero gapping your blade?
Yes, and without cutting your skin like other videos on zero-gapping.
Awesome job...i just tried it out and now i gotta tight line.
I have trouble putting it back together
great tutorial man. you made a delicate task very easy.
watchers beware!
do NOT completly line the inside blade with the guide blade, I fcuked my whole skin up, slashes and cuts every where.
follow the video carefully and remember to lean and angle the blade foward after adjusting, before you tighten it
Saved me with this one 💪🏾
Dope🔥 straight to the issue
Still useful in 2024!!! Salute !!
Where can I find that beat or who made it
Thank you. Just what I needed! ✨✨
Great job this really helped me and I subbed . Simple yet resourceful info continued success to you
Same to you my brother.
will this same technique work with wahl trimmers?
Yes, with the T-Wide Blades.
I did this but it was still cutting me a lil. The alcohol was burning a lil more than normal. But I think since I got a modified blade, I should've kept it angled when tightening. Instead I held it in my fingers then tightened
angle it forward some more when adjusting the blade.
Clarence try not to use alcohol if possible,it will burn and darken your skim eventually.... alcohol free aftershave lotions are the best, and tee tree oil for antiseptic.....
Thanks my G I was about to order some new ones I ain’t think mine worked saved me $80
💯
Fantastic video! Seems like common sense after seeing the way you did that. Thanks from one barber to another!
Explained well 😊
Your video appears to be on point and better than other videos one barber advised me to do this against a mirror but I like your advice much better. Salaam
