- There is power in celebration. You become what you celebrate. We did a short trip to Carmel-by-the-Sea in California to celebrate Daddy’s birthday.
Carmel is a small and beautiful town along highway one in California. It is also known to be the most dog friendly town in America. Zazu our Labrador and Walle our German Shorthaired Pointer absolutely loved every part of the trip except for not getting any dessert.

I love the very ending when they ring the bell. Zazu is very content with having finished the task in itself. Walle, on the other hand, finishes the task and wants to know what he has earned. Hahaha
Love the hotel bed sheets it matched Walle clothes love sZazu & walle they are so behave they wanted to have a wine 🍷 too but no one offered drinks thanks mom & dad let’s go home now ❤️❤️❤️

Seeing such a dogfriendly place and the joy of Zazu and Wally romping on the beach and lying on your hotel bed warms my heart.
Haha nothing in the world looks as deprived as a Labradors eyes when there’s food around just put of reach, they have perfected this art for centuries lol 😁

I loved the video!! We've been to Carmel and this video brought back many many nice memories...we didn't have a dog then now hoping we too can travel there with our Pumba!! Zazu and walle had a great time....love to them!
Thank you so much!!! It is such a beautiful town and sooo dog friendly. The restaurant we had dinner at had a piano lounge with a fireplace and so many dogs just chilling listen to music enjoying the night with their paw parents. It was such a heart warming scene to watch. There wasnt enough room inside but for next time.

From 1978-1980 we lived in Toro Park, Ca which is about 10 miles east of the Monterey airport. Its a nice area to live.

I noticed a big mole on Wally's nose that wasn't there before? How old are the boys? My little Louie, started getting many little lumps and bumps, moles and such after he was 7 years old. I guess we all get those old bumps. But I don't mind, as long as he's with me for many years to come. He's 11 now. And the vet says he's in great condition. We feed him, NomNom. He loves it.

We let them dry off a little before getting in the car but once we get home yes they get a good rinse
