In just 48 days, the speedrun for Mr. Krabs Overdoses on Ketamine went from a 48.76 time to a 17.57 time, over 30 seconds of total time save. In today's video, I discuss the strategies behind the Any% speedrun, and how they evolved throughout the game's short existence. This is by far the hottest meme game of 2020.

Yikes, I thought this video had to have something interesting in it, it cant just be about nobodies speed running a game nobodies heard of, but that's exactly what it is. I couldn't get halfway through.

I think it would have been worth mentioning that Cr1tikal wasn't even expecting a record on that attempt and had a really suboptimal start, but the insanely lucky boat clip still got the record.

3:30 I absolutely love this part. not because of the comparisons, but because of the background. This background is made by Matt S. He made his own Spongebob background, and signed it. One time, for a Nickelodeon ad, they needed a SpongeBob background. So they used his and erased his signature. Imagine that. At least you have a brain, Bescape.

Its 4 am and I'm watching a video about speedruns of a game where a fictional crab from a childrens cartoon overdoses on drugs and fucking dies. I'm not even mad or anything. Just amazed at the fact that we live in the one timeline where the stars aligned so perfectly that this became a possibility. Beautiful.

Should probably mention that the timer on Pisscords run is counting in frames rather than ms, so the .10 you see at the end is 10 frames rather than 10 ms. So pisscords run is more like a 24.33
This speed run should be added as its own category in the Olympics 2020.

Maybe you could use the boat inside of the Chum Bucket, perhaps if it does get stuck on obstacles, another boat warp to the door might save time

I'm gonna say this on the discord when I can but I know a strategy that can change the game, but it's so luck heavy it pretty much impossible trick. The strategy I got this off only once while I was messing around, the strat is to angle the car to the plankton boss by hitting off a rock in bikini bottom

Why hasnt anyone thought of this? You clip through the wall to get the key (obvs) and because the boat comes with you, do the glitch again to get to the otherside of the place straight to the gauntlet room? Could save like 2 seconds just saying.
