    If my irrational beliefs are:
    1. I have nothing to look forward to - this gives me feelings of intense sadness
    2. I feel intense sadness wherever I look - this gives me feelings of depression
I know that these are irrational beliefs because this is not how I think BEFORE October 14, 2020 when these obsessive thoughts hit me. I was a jolly, happy go lucky and positive person, suddenly I am an anxious and depressed mess.
How do I dispute my irrational beliefs? How do I tackle these, apart from unconditional acceptance? Thanks.

maybe instead of disputing the actual though that you have nothing to look forward to you should dispute the catastrophizing, like even if you feel there is nothing to look forward to you can still engage in activities and it is not preferable to feel this way but it is tolerable

1 impossible to know. Life is extremely unpredictable
2 yeah you might feel sadness wherever you look, but sadness is very subjective, and that doesn't mean that the things that make you sad are inherently bad
