@@Kevinohanlons yeah caught it last night…hook was down it’s throat abit with hook in it’s gills…was bleeding quite abit I let it rest for good 10mins in the Current and it swam off good..just hoping it survives. Any way I can try reduce chance of hookups deep in the mouth by gills or is it just the way the fish takes lure sometimes?
Hi Kevin, great video - always good to watch your fishing trips :-) What sort of paint do you use on your zeddies? Have tried lots of different types but cant get anything to stick that doesn't chip off after only about 15mins
Thank you for your fishing ethics. if the hook is in the fish from the inside out then can keep , but if from the outside in then let go.. They call that fish as been snagged in the States.. Criminal Offence keeping snagged fish in Oregon ..
I can never find such nice pieces of water in the mac. I go every second weekend looking for the sweet spots. Wish I could bump into kev out there sometime haha. I have seen kev out at lake Georgina a few summer's ago,that was cool. Actually cought my 3rd trout on my fly rod right at that moment. Kev was to busy on his float tube to notice me having the time of my life haha

May I ask where in Waimak was this? I've been trying to find the spot, but I could never be able to find a good salmon bank it seems..
