    Soft and delicious almond flour cookies are a healthier alternative to traditional butter or chocolate chip cookies. Almond flour offers more fiber and fewer carbohydrates than wheat flour, making these cookies a great choice for those looking to cut down on refined grains. That easy making 4 ingredients recipe will take about 20 minutes (without freezing a dough)
    Ingredients:
    2 cups almond flour
    1/2 cup butter (7 Tbsp)
    1/4 cup honey (3 Tbsp)
    1 egg
    Instructions:
    Cream the softened butter in a bowl. To soft butter warm it in the microwave for up to 30 sec.
    Add 1/4 cup honey (3 Tbsp) and thoroughly mix butter with honey.
    Add 2 cups almond flour and 1 egg.
    Mix ingredients together to a smooth dough. If the dough will be sticky enough, wrap it in a plastic sheet and put into the fridge for 20 minutes.
    Preheat an oven to 350F (180C).
    Take a dough from the fridge and form a round. Split the round into 12 even parts, form 12 balls and make 12 cookies.
    Cover the cookie sheets with parchment paper, put the cookies dough on the sheets evenly.
    Shape them by hand and decorate.
    Bake 15 minutes and let them cool.

    I made a mistake of making these & now my husband wont leave me alone. Ended up making 4 batches with different toppings ( cardamom, walnuts, chocolate chips & plain). thank you for sharing this recipe, cookies are so heavenly.

    Can you use date paste for binding instead of the egg? need to keep it veg haha

      Absolutely! Using date paste as a binding agent is a fantastic vegan-friendly alternative to eggs. 1/4 cup instead of 1 egg. It not only provides a great consistency but also adds sweetness. So be careful with honey, 3 Tbsp can be too sweet. Give it a try, and I hope you enjoy this delicious version of the cookie recipe!

      @@runthedish Tried it today with almond flour and date paste. Significantly less sweet and addictive than regular shortbread ;)

    Half a cup is 8 tablespoons. Quarter of a cup is 4 tablespoons. Your measurement are off and the cookies won't come out right.

      We appreciate you pointing that out and value your feedback. To clarify, 3 tablespoons of honey equals 0.1875 cups, which is close to ¼ cup, though not precise. Likewise, 7 tablespoons of butter is around 100 grams, a bit shy of ½ cup. These measurements are chosen to meet the recipe's requirements, aligning tablespoons with cups for consistency without exact equivalence to achieve the recipe’s desired result, providing a convenient use of your preferred measurement system.

    Can i use stevia? If i can, then quantity ?

      @runthedish  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Certainly! Substituting honey with stevia is possible. The conversion ratio can vary depending on the brand and concentration of the stevia. However, as a general guideline, you can start by using about 1 teaspoon of liquid stevia to replace 1 tablespoon of honey

    Can I replace egg with baking soda n powder

    • @runthedish
      @runthedish  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your comment! While eggs provide structure and moisture to the cookies, you can try substituting them with a mixture of baking soda and baking powder, but it may alter the texture and taste slightly. I'd recommend experimenting with a small batch to see how it turns out. Usually 1 egg can be substituted by 1 tsp baking powder. Happy baking!

    Substitute of honey ?

      @runthedish  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can use, for example, maple syrup (1tbsp) or liquid stevia (2-3 tsp)
