This song has to be the best Stone Tower Temple remix I've heard. The beginning had that dark feel to it, like an ancient tower it once was. The rest of the song was unbelievable, it was awesome. "Nothing Set it Stone" is right.
Time flies remember when i was running around in Termina by spin and spin and spin and spin again as a Mojo , i had .. 11-12 y-o ? it was 15 years ago And since that days, no other game has left me the same feeling than majora's Mask I can say the same for wind waker There is special things about this two games, i love Tloz for that cause it lets you a specials memories you will never forget about
When I first heard that song I automatically started to sing. A completely random melody, but it sounded kind of beautiful, it was like a ghost told me what to sing. Amazing. Really. I've got no words left.
This temple always gave me the chills. Not only because it was the last one before you faced Majora, but also because of how you have to change it upside-down and right side up just to finish it. Especially with only 3 days..seemed impossible at first..but one of the funnest dungeons ever created for a video game in general. Legend of Zelda..forever. =)
OoT had very little replayability to a casual, but MM lets you Turn back the clock and it's possible without glitches to tackle temples out of order (I don't know if you can do that in OoT) you can re-do sidequests in case you messed up and you can re-fight bosses.
This is simply beautiful................... A perfect example as to why the next Zelda game needs to feature orchestration. And more specifically, needs to feature THIS PIECE. My god it features everything needed to set up a perfect atmosphere. Its haunting, sad and gives the sense of hopelessness that Link would no doubt feel in his position.
Love what you did after 4:05, my thought was, now it cant be much better, probably just repeats what it was before, but damn!! the melody you did there when you slowed it down. Awesome work man!
This was one of my favorite songs in MM, and considering I'm a musician and I love songs, that means A LOT. The song really captures the forlornness of the poor Ikanan soldiers banished there... and this remix is simply beautiful. Instant fav, there.
Such beautiful music it gives the feeling of being helpless and everyone is going to die in 3 days, but you remember you have the power to stop it and you can save everyone from certain death and that you have hope!(1st twin)
Personally, I thought this was one of the best ones. I thought it was so unique yet still maintained the Zelda vibe to it. I personally think it deserves the recognition that OOT gets.
Link Ilvien Defeating Twinmold with only arrows is very impressive. Did you have to be a giant while doing so, because I am sure that it is very hard to Z- or L-target the snakes as Link's normal size. I also once purchased the Chauteau Romani for 200 Rupees from the Milk Bar as opposed to receiving it from Madame Aroma in her quest. I drank the Chauteau Romani to have unlimited Magic Power when I set out to confront the Skull Kid in the Clock Tower and venture inside the moon to complete the four dungeons and ultimately fight Majora in all its forms.
14 years after I heard this the first time, I was like 16yo. Now I'm 30. Time goes fast. I rewatched the shit outta this video back in the day. I'ts been years since I played this. Was glad that I was able to find it, felt like founding a missing piece of the puzzle of my life... Anyways, never said thansk for the uploader, nor do I know if he is the author/composer of this remix. But THANK YOU for this soul touching remix.
When it kicks up its as if you can hear the entire world crying out its pain and suffering. That its dying and yet nobody hears it. Nobody can answer its pain or hear its cries. Then it slows down as if the world now has died. And then the silence. Thats what I feel when I listen to this piece of art. That same hollow feeling the world seems too get.
everyone talks about remakes. and nintendo always releases remakes but i really would more enjoy a continued story. where the hero of time finally finds Navi or something. but Nintendo is letting link ( the hero of time) just behind with a crappy ending.
+Nintendonator Well, we do get those, they are other Zelda games. Each game takes place roughly every 100 years, as the cycle is every 100 years. When there is a gap, such as between MM and TP, that is simply a missing game waiting to be made. We may never have that game, but the game's plot must still happen, as it falls between two other games in the timeline. All we can do is wait for the next Zelda game, deduce where it lies in the timeline, then re-evaluate the story. For example, its HEAVILY implied Zelda U takes place after Skyward, but before Minish cap.... when you play Minish cap, you notice its not a direct sequel... thats where zelda U will fall to bridge that gap. As for the Hero of time, after MM there is a blank spot, up until the next 100 cycle where the hero of twilight appears. We know MM link is blood related to TP link, so, either in the future we will have that game to bridge the gap... or more likely, we wont, as we dont need it. We know enough to know that Link has a child, and we can guess Ganon wont show his face at that time, so, there isnt much point to ending those ties like does link find navi, as it would make for a shallow game. Without those tied ends, it makes MM bittersweet. Link is victorious... but he never found navi.
+goldber516 Well, this isn't really confirmed, it's just a theory, but the most acceptable out of all the ridiculous one's out there, and the one I accept xD
SPOILER AND FAN THEORY AHEAD according to fan theories Navi vanished because every fairy u use for healing and stuff vanishes. im guessing so that fairies vanish once they complete their goal. those fairies goals was to heal Link and once they did that they vanish. Navis goal was to aid Link as asked by the Great Deku Tree. you see in the final oot cutscene Link places the Master Sword in the pedestal and Navi flying away. ;(
When the piano really kicks in at around 2:00 something, I mean, it is just so good, this is one of the best remixes of any zelda song I have ever heard. and I really liked this temple too. Absolutely love this.
I didn't want to cry to this song but damn, this song really touches you in ways you couldn't expect.. Amazing, simply amazing, keep up the good work, this would get anyone balling up.. Long live The Legend Of Zelda..
@Zoallinna hell yeah! this is music so epic it's probably the best thing ive ever listened to, if i could play this on loop for the rest of my life i probably wouldn't ever get bored of it
this is really odd... making very nice and calming music but yet powerful in sound. it's so awesome! This is in my favorites for sure. Good job whoever did this, cause i normally don't like remixed Zelda songs, just the real ones. AMAZING! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!i like it too much..
I think it wielded the theme quite well, it grasped the sorrow of the fallen kingdom, the upbeat part was the memory of what used to be and the subtle return to sorrow almost symbolizes the true sorrow felt by the dead in that canyon. If you stop to think about it Ikana is more sad then creepy. This song seems to do the feeling more justice the old feeling of the temple theme, that didn't really symbolize the theme carried out in the gloom of the dead soldiers and king, or the garo's decline.
Brothers, sisters, in-betweens...I've come home again, back to this wonderful tune. How have you all been? Life changed me over and over as it does all things. I can hardly remember my old name at this point, haha. But here at last I have returned, to the lands forgotten. And the tower, forbidden. 13 year anniversary since I found this tune. Deevil0178, if you're still around, thank you for posting this all those years ago. And to everyone else: I hope you are all doing well, or still trying in this mad world we live in. Farewell,
This is one of the best remixes I have ever heard! Truly classic... the faster part could have been removed though, since it doesn't really capture the mood of the temple and original music...
True, but this is a re-envisioning, which are often brilliant. This is a most impressive re-envisioning of a most impressive score. Close your eyes and let the melodies flow through you. They are both nostalgic and new, and are for that reason amazing.
I just pictured myself walking towards the temple and staring. Astonished, almost terrified as to who had made the temple. The most beautiful, and complex working of architecture. I can't help but swallow hard in fear that I might not live to see the next day as the shifting stones beneath my feet carry me through the air and closer and closer to the temple. What an eerie feeling..
I remember playing this my freshman year of college, about 10 years ago. Still easily one of the top 10 games of all time. This theme is made of awesome. Unfortunately, it gives me a sad memory, because one of my cats died before I could complete this temple.
Majora's Mask is so underrated! The game is supposed to be difficult; it picks up right after OoT. And the 3-Day cycle is easy to go by so long as you know what to do and when (Like the Inverted Song of Time). And its music... Well, this remix does all the talking on that part. Amazing remix.
10-13 years later and this version of the song still gives me goosebumps. Brings me back to when I first listened to this song
Same, just saw my own comment from 15 years ago above yours hahaha
Same. I remember listening to this like a decade ago and it is still so good.
This song has to be the best Stone Tower Temple remix I've heard.
The beginning had that dark feel to it, like an ancient tower it once was.
The rest of the song was unbelievable, it was awesome.
"Nothing Set it Stone" is right.
Agreed!! This is my #1 that I always come back to when I want an eerie nostalgic song to daydream to
This song is pure brilliance. It fits MM perfectly; the song feels so empty and sad, yet simultaneously familiar and beautiful.
Dear God, I remember listening to this song when it was first uploaded. Where the hell does the time go?
*plays Song of Time furiously to no avail*
Time flies
remember when i was running around in Termina by spin and spin and spin and spin again as a Mojo , i had .. 11-12 y-o ? it was 15 years ago
And since that days, no other game has left me the same feeling than majora's Mask
I can say the same for wind waker
There is special things about this two games, i love Tloz for that cause it lets you a specials memories you will never forget about
@@Nicolas-hf2eq True...I played this masterpiece when I was 9, 20 years ago :')
Play the Hymne of time to be reborn ❤️
Man.... this remix really reminds me how much the Hero of Time really endured. Really hit home.
When I first heard that song I automatically started to sing. A completely random melody, but it sounded kind of beautiful, it was like a ghost told me what to sing.
Amazing. Really. I've got no words left.
This remains the most creepy and fascinating Stone Tower Temple remix I've known.
13 years ago?! Wow I listened to this so long ago I can’t believe I found it again all these years later.
This has existed for 9 years holy fuck what have I been missing out on
9 years and I still come back to listen. It's amazing.
John Stewart your right. XD
15 years too late for me lol
17 years 🤯
Just found it after looking for Stone Tower sheet music. I wish this guy's old website was still up so I could check out his other songs/remixes.
Definately the best zelda game
They are each special on their own way, especially n64 versions.. oot/mm, but yea, mm was pretty fucking interesting.
Same here
favourite game ever overall
OoT had very little replayability to a casual, but MM lets you Turn back the clock and it's possible without glitches to tackle temples out of order (I don't know if you can do that in OoT) you can re-do sidequests in case you messed up and you can re-fight bosses.
SSDARKPIT You can do dungeons in OoT out of order once you have the Master Sword.
I am completely in love with this music so bad!!
This is beautiful
What? It's been 10 years? Wow... This to this very day, still remains the best remix of Stone Tower imo
This song is almost 8 years old and I still love it.
and the game came out almost 15 years ago :3 still one of the greatest zelda tracks ever ~
"and this game came out almost 15 years ago : still one of the greatest Zelda game ever"
16 now
This is simply beautiful...................

Amazing, keep up the good work. ALso, Stone Tower is one of my favoite Zelda dungeons and tunes!
16 years ago??? Jesus Christ……I WAS 7 FUCKIN YEARS OLD HOLY SHIT
Such a nostalgic and awesome Song, from 2000 until 2021 and beyond
play this at my funeral! I love it!
Dude I'm blown away, this remix just makes the stone tower sound that much more epic! Majora's mask was one of my favorite games as a child! props bro
Such beautiful music it gives the feeling of being helpless and everyone is going to die in 3 days, but you remember you have the power to stop it and you can save everyone from certain death and that you have hope!(1st twin)
I love how is veers off the main melody and I think it worked really well. This is excellent.
MAJORAS MASK HD REMAKE CONFIRMED!!!
Majora's Mask 3D confirmed!
The first idea looked better.
Majora's Mask confirmed!
True
Sadly Majora's Mask HD has been deconfirmed. However Majora's Mask 3D hasn't!
32yo now. Keep coming back for this jewel.
16 yrs ago wtf
hauntingly beautiful.
It really captures the feeling of empty bodies and restless souls.
Is anyone getting a Child of Light vibe with this remix?
This was the first video on TH-cam I ever liked. I come back to it every now and then...it makes me feel so many strange ideas. So much darkness.
1: did you make this (its amazing) 2: if yes, what did you use to make it (software-wise)
Sorry rabbidluigi but you got IGNORED!! HAHAHAHAHAH
@rabbidluigi the name is "nothing set in stone" By "second chance"
When it kicks up its as if you can hear the entire world crying out its pain and suffering. That its dying and yet nobody hears it. Nobody can answer its pain or hear its cries. What about the fairies that the other people Kokiri kids have? Those don't vanish to anyone's knowledge. I don't think.
This cover has inspired me to learn on keyboard it's so great can't get over it: )
This is a compliment, it sounds like a requiem. It's so soothing yet it sounds like it has a secret purupose
it's mystical, mythic and sounds so calming and melodious, this is a masterwork.
This was-IS- a great song. Watching it evolve through youtube remixes like this was so much fun! I feel a need to contribute now!
When the piano really kicks in at around 2:00 something, I mean, it is just so good, this is one of the best remixes of any zelda song I have ever heard. and I really liked this temple too. Absolutely love this.
I almost started crying. This is the best piano song ever. Whoever made this should be granted godhood.
"I'm gonna puke. Everything is upside down and i have lengendary vertigo" was my reaction to this temple.
great orchestration
I didn't want to cry to this song but damn, this song really touches you in ways you couldn't expect.. Amazing, simply amazing, keep up the good work, this would get anyone balling up.. Long live The Legend Of Zelda..
This is amazing. I had no idea there were all these orchestral/piano remixes of Zelda music floating around.
@Zoallinna hell yeah! this is music so epic it's probably the best thing ive ever listened to, if i could play this on loop for the rest of my life i probably wouldn't ever get bored of it
This is my favorite song in all Majora's Mask theme songs, and the remix is Epic!
Beautiful instrumental.
this is really odd... making very nice and calming music but yet powerful in sound. it's so awesome! This is in my favorites for sure. Good job whoever did this, cause i normally don't like remixed Zelda songs, just the real ones. AMAZING! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!i like it too much..
So beautiful I seriously got goose bumps on my arms.
very good!!!
5/5
one of the best remixes I ever clicked on!
THIS IS JUST BEATIFULL, U TOOK IT TO A NEW LEVEL!!

This song seems to do the feeling more justice the old feeling of the temple theme, that didn't really symbolize the theme carried out in the gloom of the dead soldiers and king, or the garo's decline.
This is just pure awesome. Thats all it is, awesome with a hint of mind-blown.
Breathtaking! I am in love with this.
A wonderful piece! I'm glad it's so long in this remix too, I like to listen to MM themes while I'm working. :)
Excellent Instrumental piece this is nice work on Stone Tower Temple.
Excellent and beautiful, my favorite song from Zelda.
I love this song, just flat out awesome, great instrumental song!
Excellent!!!! Sir, you are a true artisan! Amazing job
This song is so good. Thanks for uploading it.
Stunning version! Good work for the composer!
I love the notes they added to the song.
The piano arrangement is excellent, but the strings really push this over the edge. Beautiful.
A masterpieace, loaded with nostalgia and love for the best game ever created! I will honestly let this be my funeral song...
It's like the melody builds with hope until there is nothing left
I fell in love with this the first time I heard it. Haunting yet beautiful. Thanks for uploading ^_^
Farewell,
A great remix, pieced together wonderfully.

This was always my favorite background music when I was playing it....this is just beautiful....
Damn, I want to play that game now...
Wow...very haunting, just as the area surrounding the Stone Tower is. Excellent song.
Whoa....this song is so crazy moody and depressing. Which makes it incredible. I'm so glad there's a DL link for it!
Amazing remix^^ Thx for uploading
great composed. so much passion and emotion.
This is an awesome rendition, nice work.
Truly transformative. Not a remix of Stone Tower Temple so much as a new song.
This is....The absolute best song of all time. You cannot describe this with words
This is awesome! Great remix! :D
Excellent. Just pure excellence.
I love the piano. It's so beautiful!
Best remix of this song EVER !!!
I love this. A true ode to those with the Zelda spirit...
this music is beautiful awesome work i really enjoyed it
Best fan-made remix I've ever heard.
They are both nostalgic and new, and are for that reason amazing.
your remix is actually awesome^^
If ever there were a greatest piece of music ever written, I would call it this.
I AM SO GONNA LEARN THIS THANKS FOR THE SHEET MUSIC!!!
I'm speechless.... This is truly remarkable....
I remember playing this my freshman year of college, about 10 years ago. Still easily one of the top 10 games of all time. This theme is made of awesome. Unfortunately, it gives me a sad memory, because one of my cats died before I could complete this temple.
They took an already awesome song and made even more awesome.
This was the first Zelda remix I was ever exposed to... and it left an eternal imprint on my soul.
