When I hear this, I envision the prologue to a Legend of Zelda game that tells the origin story of Majora's Mask. That's a story I would love to play through. And Nintendo should hire you to do the music!
Have you heard about the Majora's Mask manga? At the end of it there is a short story about the Fierce Deity and Majora which tells how the mask could have come to be. The story may not be canon, but it's still cool. (I think you can find the manga on the Internet somewhere, if you want to see it.)

The song has a very tense, high-strung vibe. I like that about it, it emphasizes the time limit plus the fear of wandering through the tower, knowing Twinmold is lurking deep within.
Wow, what a truly brilliant rendition of this theme. The original already gives that feeling of a dark, creeping mystery that lurks hidden away behind and / or maybe inside the walls of the stone tower... But your version really gives it the icing on the cake. Well done.
Stone tower is the best dungeon in all of Zelda. The only other dungeons that even stand a chance against it are ancient cistern and spirit temple, but stone tower still crushes them. Nothing will ever match the emotions felt the first time somebody plays this dungeon. You really feel the sorrow of the terminians which was crazy for a game from majoras masks time.
This is the only Zelda remix I've heard so far that actually outclasses the original. Great job. I would LOVE to hear more from you! The reason you made this great is because it evokes some real indigenous vibes, but at the same time it's hard to place the song anywhere specific. Personally I'm thinking of both Norse, African and Middle Eastern musical traditions when I listen to this. Also the progression to epicness in the second half is freaking awesome.

@@thetruecorrectguy8537 I really don't think you should take fan fiction as canon. It was a huge stretch saying Majora was unleashed by the Goddesses to punish the Terminians for blasphemy. I don't think they'd be that malevolent. Knowing Nintendo they just thought let's make a spooky dungeon with grotesque looking monuments in it without giving it much thought as to who built it and why. The statues licking the triforce is an interesting design choice, but I doubt it was anything beyond looking cool. And the four towers at the entrance symbolizing male genitalia? Majora having ovaries? Come on, now. This is a kid's game. Nintendo clearly never thought to make it like that.
I know you're not into money and all that kind of stuff when it comes to your music, but I hope that the thank you's from fans of this will be enough payment. Because seriously it's really nice to hear a realistic perspective on this song and how it would sound with more oriental instruments. I appreciate your work and want to let you know that I agree about the money thing. Doing things that you love to do is wonderful, when you start getting revenue from it, it slowly eats away the genuineness of your creations and makes you slowly forget why you started making them in the first place.
