Through action, a man becomes a Hero Through death, a Hero becomes a Legend Through time, a Legend becomes a Myth And by learning from the Myth, a man takes action
Sorry to be off topic but does someone know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I love any tips you can give me!
I normally don't like remixes but I this one is special. It has a powerful feeling. The first time I listened to it many years ago I fell in love with it and today I'm still feeling that passion. It truly shows what Zelda is all about.
Same here. If you don’t already know, maybe you try the ballad of the Windfish remake, it’s really powerful as well and Transports the emotions of the original really well.
hey brother.. i fell u... i keep comming back to this song, from time to time... its so well writen, its so beautifull..... hope u doing well, i'm drunk af atm lol... cheers from brazil
This just reminds me of how every 3D Zelda since Ocarina has been hated at launch by fans, but eventually ended up getting the love it deserved. Majora's Mask Wind Waker Twilight Princess (my favourite) Skyward Sword I feel especially bad for Skyward. It achieved something the Kinect and PS Move could only hope to achieve. And it's hated for that very reason. Was it perfect? No. But man, it gave it the old college try. And it succeeded on so many levels. For the ''start'' of the franchise story wise, it did really good. If there's a silver lining, it will eventually be a lot of people's favourite Zelda. As soon as the new one comes out and people hate it for no reason. Just reinforces the biggest problem with the Zelda community. They hate change.
Kaizerghidorah Xi Personally I hated it for its controls, wii stick made it unplayable for me(they should just make all games compatible with a controller)
flashdrive Now put that kind of stuff you saw in skyward in a zelda as large as skyrim, and that's what's supposed to be the next zelda. Only time will tell if they achieved that feat.
I have never heard any piece of music capture the wonder and adventure of the legend of zelda series quite like this. Purely incredible. Thank you for this utter work of beauty.
Seriously one of my favorite songs ever.. been a long time since I've listened to it, and I may or may not be crying from nostalgia and the pure rush of emotions that this piece gives me... :,)
The most epic Zelda Song that was EVER made! I heard it many many years ago and I recently had it in my mind but couldn't find it until today.. I almost cried. It's an incredible piece of music. Love it so much
Listening to it for years... and still Toon Link is one of my absolute favourite characters to cosplay... shall my love for this franchise never be lapsing
How do you cosplay someone like Toon Link? Do you have to wear a big head or something? I can see someone doing maybe normal adult Link, he has normal proportions. Toon link has a head as big as his body!
You don't have to wear a big head, his arms are also pretty long for his body and do I have long arms? No. It doesn't care if your body proportions are not "perfect" for a character, if a cosplay would be perfect the person needs to be polygons or totally flat like paper :D
I always had the thought that the melodies in this song could easily be given a little extra energy and become something really epic, and this remix brings that idea to life really well.
I love how Zelda games create such brilliant and joyful memories for all who play, I don't care how far technology progresses this will always be in my mind...
I can hear the theme of many of the Links from throughout the series... It's amazing.. Even though WW's Link isn't of the same bloodline as the others, they're still connected... That's pretty epic. No wonder I love Zelda so much.
The music of Zelda has created a world all it's own. It's the part of the games I cherish the most, and what defines the experience for me. I play that 25th anniversary orchestrated cd in my car, and I feel awesome doing it.
The first time I heard this remix i just sat there and listened, nothing else. By the time it was over I nearly cried. This mix is a master piece, a true work of art!
This song is sooo good, it just sums up the whole of the Zelda franchise which is indeed the most beautiful, Epic and genius game franchise in gaming history.
It's so weird how this game was virtually hated when it came out due to the art style but once the HD version came out, every one cried tears of joy. (I know I did.)
Camille Lawliet An emulator? You mean *the* emulator? Dolphin is the only Wii/GC emulator. If I'm wrong, still it is the best emulator in existence. I'm talking any console, Dolphin is the most well-optimized and easy to use.
Darkesword, out of all the remixers of Zelda songs I've listened to, you are the best!!! You could actually work for Nintendo in their music department!! You should!!
I'm the guy that wrote this remix and I enjoy a good dubstep tune every once in a while. I think that it's important to not be snobby about music. People have different tastes and I don't really think it's right to just categorize dubstep as "noise." Electronic genres of music (like dubstep) are not as easy to produce or as mindless to arrange in as you may think. I think that "true" LoZ fans are the ones who know that Koji's tunes have a wonderful core that shines through in any genre. :)
Zelda OoT was the first game I ever finished. The original Zelda was the first game I ever picked up on my own. Zelda's in my blood and this song speaks to that legacy that just transcends generations. Thanks, FireoftheNight, for doing great justice for one of the greatest video game series of all time.
Why does everyone include Vaati from the lists of Zelda villains, next to Ganondorf, he has the most appearances in the the games. Wow, really irked me there, anywho, this is like my favorite remix every, listened to it for the first time like 6 years ago, just listened to it because it was on my list, emotions and the feels hit me in the opening part. Gotta love it
*flails about in excitement... this was one of those pieces that made me a musician as a kid. I can't even fathom where I'd be today if I'd never heard this and decided to learn it.
This is a masterpiece of reorchestration. Praise aside, this version of "Legendary Hero" makes me think of an epic training montage spread out over a decade or so (and not comical in any way). Three cheers to DarkeSword! And the 11 evil forces of Ganon need to re-think their opinions a little, methinks.
There was a 30 minute length one back in the day and I thought it was an official score so imagine my panic when I tried looking for this years later and couldn’t find it
Solía escuchar éste remix en 2006, cuando tuve mi primer reproductor mp3. Fue uno de los temas que me llevó a estudiar música y cantar en coro. Que alegría poder haberlo encontrado después de 18 años
I know this is a very late comment but... This was the best remix ever! My orchestra was taking song suggestions for our Spring concert and I should have put this... oh well, there might be an opportunity next year :)
I can imagine this song playing as you've just sailed through a dark and devastating storm, the waves crashing around you, tossing you about. For a moment, you're looking death in the face as the waves crash down upon your ship, and you're surrounded by darkness..But you just keep going with all your strength. Then its over. Your sails are ripped and torn, but your boat still manages to sail through the now calmed waves, and you see the midday sun, its rays brightening the horizon, where home is
Thats the most epic and perfect song, i think all Zelda fans know what i mean and feel if you ´re listen to this music, and remember all the time you spend with the game parts
Through action, a man becomes a Hero
Through death, a Hero becomes a Legend
Through time, a Legend becomes a Myth
And by learning from the Myth, a man takes action
So let us continue!
Plot of OOT and WW
underrated comment, nice.
Also Majora’s mask and Link becoming the Hero’s shade
Sorry to be off topic but does someone know a trick to log back into an instagram account??
I stupidly forgot my account password. I love any tips you can give me!
" A sword only has strength as long as the hand that wields has courage "
12 years later and it's still my favorite zelda remix
I thought it was me
Good avatar choice lol
21 years later now, this remix was released on... November 29, 2003. Gosh, I feel like an Ancient Hero now, has it been that long?
I normally don't like remixes but I this one is special. It has a powerful feeling. The first time I listened to it many years ago I fell in love with it and today I'm still feeling that passion. It truly shows what Zelda is all about.
Same here. If you don’t already know, maybe you try the ballad of the Windfish remake, it’s really powerful as well and Transports the emotions of the original really well.
I completely agree. It really makes me think of Hyrule and the hero that comes with it
hey brother.. i fell u... i keep comming back to this song, from time to time... its so well writen, its so beautifull..... hope u doing well, i'm drunk af atm lol... cheers from brazil
"A hero inside, places evil aside."
This takes me back to a time when I didn't hate my life
jmcieslak0 Ey, dont say that
Pretty edgy m8
jmcieslak0 think of all that people who never heard this song. How could you hate your life after that?
jmcieslak0 didn't ask
TheLordpeanuts No one told you to answer
This remix is a legend...
Joueuse de la Cave I guess you can say it’s Legendary(lol)
May it reside on the internet until the end of time.
This just reminds me of how every 3D Zelda since Ocarina has been hated at launch by fans, but eventually ended up getting the love it deserved.
Majora's Mask
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess (my favourite)
Skyward Sword
I feel especially bad for Skyward.
I totally agree. I loved Skyward, and I honestly don't see why people hate it.
Kaizerghidorah Xi Personally I hated it for its controls, wii stick made it unplayable for me(they should just make all games compatible with a controller)
Flaming Shiruken They would have to redesign the entire game, bosses, the engine, heck, even the way the game would work.
flashdrive Now put that kind of stuff you saw in skyward in a zelda as large as skyrim, and that's what's supposed to be the next zelda.
Only time will tell if they achieved that feat.
Flaming Shiruken but it is playable unlike other "motion" consoles
I haven't heard this in so long and much like the Zelda series itself.. this is Timeless
I have never heard any piece of music capture the wonder and adventure of the legend of zelda series quite like this. Purely incredible. Thank you for this utter work of beauty.

My whole body just lights up with goosebumps during the French horn buildup.
The part where the legend begins🗡🛡
The fact that I still come back to this song after six years...
So. Good!
Seriously one of my favorite songs ever.. been a long time since I've listened to it, and I may or may not be crying from nostalgia and the pure rush of emotions that this piece gives me... :,)
Every time for me.
Gosh this was on my first ever iPod when I was younger
+Lee McGavin
Me too, me too. It was in 2011 for me.
It's time to remember this song again. And this notification will do this :)
Time to listen to this again
Also mine. I still have the iPod and somehow it still works if it's in a dock.
This song is so emotional
Anyone else get major Groosebumps from this?
I teared up. Music is one the most emotion driven forms of media, after all.
When I was reading this I said juicebumps bc I'm so hungry and thirsty ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
I see what you did there ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The real question is how anyone wouldn't
just did
The most epic Zelda Song that was EVER made! I heard it many many years ago and I recently had it in my mind but couldn't find it until today.. I almost cried. It's an incredible piece of music. Love it so much
Perfect for a Zelda movie's trailer
I actually discovered this song back in 2010. It's been a long time, but it never lost its own magic.
31 people shouldn't have done that.
31 people have met with a terrible fate, haven't they?
oh lord... Randomly on an unrelated note im absolutely terrified to name Link in Wind Waker BEN because of the water thats everywhere in that game...
***** At least Slendy doesn't have a perverted fandom of furries like Freddy.
***** I have Majora's Mask 3D and I was tempted to name him BEN, but went with CapriSun like I always do.
***** I would actually just play the game normally like I am.
DragonKoal The funny thing is I just opened my Ganondorf amiibo for the first time and Wisp turned into Ganon just as I was told.
This makes me feel old.
2009? It feels like yesterday. Genuinely amazing though.
This is absolutley my favorite Zelda song. Thank you. This is so beautiful i thought it was actually in Wind Waker as is.
Listening to it for years... and still Toon Link is one of my absolute favourite characters to cosplay...
shall my love for this franchise never be lapsing
i think i've been listening to this song since i first heard it back in 2010 XD feels like a different time!
Probably the best thing I've heard, EVER!
Years later and this remains one of my favourite Zelda remixes.
I'm so glad this showed up in my recommended again.
I cry everytime
I always had the thought that the melodies in this song could easily be given a little extra energy and become something really epic, and this remix brings that idea to life really well.
God when the oboe comes in for the solo. Tears man.

Legendary...i feel as if timelessness gets suddenly around me and involves me in an undescribably immortal feeling. Thumb up if you feel the same.
I literally got goosebumps from this remix. No remix in a very long time has ever done that. Very well done!
This song gave me nostalgia for something I never experienced
The first time I heard this remix i just sat there and listened, nothing else. By the time it was over I nearly cried. This mix is a master piece, a true work of art!
41 people got pots broken by Link and are exacting revenge but little do they know, they upset the Cucoos in doing so
This song is sooo good, it just sums up the whole of the Zelda franchise which is indeed the most beautiful, Epic and genius game franchise in gaming history.
This is so good! I love it!
To me, no other franchise has such beautiful music.
It's so weird how this game was virtually hated when it came out due to the art style but once the HD version came out, every one cried tears of joy. (I know I did.)
i never got to play wind waker. wish i could. if i had some new gamecube cords. and foudn the gamecube version. than i could play
legoguy cjman A few years back I tried to buy Wind Waker. It was going to cost me $50 dollars because of how rare it was.
yeah.. personally i would just screw that and buy the wii u version..... that is if i had a wii u
I got the collector edition on gamecube and the game is great but if you dont have any of the consoles just get an emulator on Android or pc ?
Camille Lawliet An emulator? You mean *the* emulator?
Dolphin is the only Wii/GC emulator. If I'm wrong, still it is the best emulator in existence. I'm talking any console, Dolphin is the most well-optimized and easy to use.
I remember discovering this song back in like 2005, thank you DarkeSword whoever you are
You're welcome!
I will forever love the Legend of Zelda series with all my heart forever and ever 💚💯🔥😍
Darkesword, out of all the remixers of Zelda songs I've listened to, you are the best!!! You could actually work for Nintendo in their music department!! You should!!
This is the best Zelda song....
LOL comment j'ai fait pour tomber sur la même vidéo que toi x)
Ben Drowned On a les même goûts musicaux ! :o Viens on danse ! XD
Princesse Machaon :D
it is a remix but yeah. It's a pretty god damn song
Came for the remix of Cosmo Canyon, stayed for the Zelda. Keep up the fantastic work!
This song makes me happy. Which is cool cause I rarely show any emotion towards anything.
Hi
That’s EDGY
Just...wow. This song really does have a legendary, heroic kind of tone to it. Absolutely fantastic.
43 Wind Waker enemies and bosses disliked (except Gohdan because Gohdan is a nice guy who was just testing you).
Jmario232 Actually 52...
Lol it went from 43 to 52 in 6 months
59 to 72 in 1year
Normally remixes aren't that good, but this one is awesome! One of my all-time favourites! So beautiful...
This should be the final battle music in BOTW 2.
I really hope they make some ties to the Wind Waker timeline in Tears of the Kingdom
@@cheeseisgood17there were some in botw
@@cheeseisgood17I bet you enjoyed the wind temple ;)
@@AnAnonymousPenguin one of the greatest boss battle themes of all time!!! and a sweet call back to Molgera!

Actually it is the first thing to come up when you search "zelda wind waker remix"
Nope got this from an old animation called dark sage
I got here form the tf2 version
Courage need not be remembered...for it is never truly forgotten.
Remember hearing this thanks to the tf2 version
This is the best Zelda remix I've heard so far.
Those 7 people who clicked dislike either had their mouse slip, or were just being trolls.
"HAYRIYAAAAA!!!!"
Wow this video was posted on my birthday, thanks for the birthday present FireoftheNight.
I did an arrangement of this myself.
This is just even more amazing. Now I feel like shit 😂

*Un-include, damn auto-correct
Sorry, bro, Vaati never really came to mind.
I don't really remember any major characters from the DS/Gameboy games all that well.
This is absolutely a masterpiece, I give thanks to the creator for such a wonderful job
Zis iz boodiful ;u;

Legend of Zelda remix done flawlessly, this should've been in the HD remake
Simply astounding
The best remix ever, period.
best zelda remix I'd ever heard
Man I havent heard this in a long time. Takes me back to middle school lol.
this remix is really good it just give you lots of confident.
I am DarkeSword, the fellow that wrote this remix. I used FLStudio and a bunch of freely available soundfonts to produce this piece. :)
This remix is so badass it deserves to go in my favorites twice
I've heard some beautiful music in my long life, but this may very well take top honors.
This music is simply amazing.

Been lookin for this song for a few days. Came from the Save Derpy! vid.
Has a nice calm sound that leads into an intense theme. Love it.

This has to be my favorite Zelda music remix.
Ever
Of all time
Nothing can change this fact
The opening sounds a lot like Skyward Sword's instrumentation on Wind Waker's melody. I love it.
It's so beatiful i love it!
Can't wait to play this game again
WOOOO
Well done! There are SOME people with sense here in the big, wide world.
Ive talked with a friend about this, and we've both come to the conclusion that the vibe of this song is: Somber, but hopeful
Just Beautiful , this song is so wonderful !
Thats the most epic and perfect song, i think all Zelda fans know what i mean and feel
if you ´re listen to this music, and remember all the time you spend with the game parts
