I'm aiming to do a T5 swap in my 68 f100. Now I'm be measuring and see if mine lines up as well. With mine being a long bed. I know I'll need another drive shaft. But we shall see. They're telling me I may have to change it my bell housing though.
Hey Craig long time peeper first time commenting. I'm in the process of doing the T5 swap onto my 302. Had to get the adapter plate for bellhousing and shorten my driveshaft but mine is a 71 long box that had a 3 on the tree. The steady bearing and slip yoke were worn out so I replaced all of it with new driveshaft cut to proper length. Working on p/s and power brakes conversion hopefully finish up for the spring time. Had a question about power steering pump placement if you have any input. Thanks!
Yeah If u want my opinion, go “red head” or “blue top” high ratio gear boxes 👍🏼 But if u want more into let know what u have and what u want. Maybe I’ll remember some helpful tip lol 😜🤷🏼♂️👍🏼

Craig, have you checked the angle of your trans vs the angle of your rear end?

Craig, did you have to cut the trans tunnel out? so that the T5 didn’t sit on a crazy angle?
Nope, also none of the articles I found or people ive talked to who have done the swap mentions having to cut the tunnel 👍🏼

I have a1995 302 what I want to do is keep my 3 speed on the column and wonder if I can keep the six bell housing and 6 cylinder perches
