If you use a 7F with the lay of the hair, it will give you the same hair length as a 4F against the lay of the hair. You are fabulous Crystal...love your videos.
I have been raising about 5 goats now i am 13 i own a little Nigerian dwarf and she is just the sweetest little thing. Lately we had to move all my goats to a new location and it is very hot and the people we used to be friends volunteered to feed them. They had a certain way they were supposed to feed them to keep them healthy and they have made the decision to either not feed her or feed her way to much she almost died of a heatstroke about a week ago. My dad is going to get her next week and move her to my house so i can care for her i have shaved my bores and just clipped on my other goats i had no clue how to clip my little bean and this helped so much THANK YOU!!!!
How often do you buy new clipper blades? I've got a Wahl, same size as yours. I trim about 8 goats a summer (once each) and I replaced the blades each year. After watching this video, I think I just needed to take better care of lubricating the blades. How often are you buying new blades?
You can sharpen the good blades! You take them apart and sharpen them on a sharpening stone. Without sharpening them, you should definitely get more use out of a blade then just 8 goats. Lubricating them a lot through each shaving is important. You can hear the grind when the oil is needed. I'd say I add oil to the blade a good 10 or more times with one goat.

I’m not going to show or anything I just personally love the way they look show shaved❤️ do the flies bother them and try to bite them worse with show shaved hair?
Crystal I have a sick goat and I have to give my first shot of penicillin do you have any tips? I’m super nervous! For the last two days he has had diarrhea and hasn’t Eaten a whole lot! I would love any advice you can give me!
Cookie Crusher I haven’t given the penicillin yet but the vet suggested I give him a dose tonight. Which is why I was asking for advice this is the first major problem I’ve had with my goats and I’m freakin out!
Indi Zona Hi Derek thanks for reply. My goat is a 1 year old intact male. He has clean water. Recent changes are that he just came home from my uncles where he was breeding there goats. He was there for about 3 weeks and has been home for just under two weeks. He has been getting his grain mix that he got daily before he left and I know he only got hay/alfalfa mix while he was breeding.
Beautiful shaved marmol floor udder. They don't like their feet messed with though. I have also seen that they use to groom their back feet at a cat would. They chomp-lick and even spread their hoovy toes a little.
Do you shave the goats you don't show, for the summer heat? I'm trying to decide if my girls need it. They looked so hot last year, but maybe I'm imagining things.

Make sure she drinks, diarrhea dehydrates. Since shes being given penicillin, is there any diagnosis?
