Oneof the thing I really like about Magmatron is that instead of being the combination of more well known dinosaurs like T-Rex, Plesiosaur, and Pterodactyl, he's comprised of a Giganatosaurus, a Quetzolcolatlus and an Elasmosaurus.
Pretty cool species tho their are still popular among paleo fans Like giganotosaurus since appearing in Jurassic world dominion Quetzalcoatlus got a resurgence due to the added potential horror and creepiness And elasmosaurus is among the more well known prehistoric plesiosaur

The closest thing to an aquatic dinosaur right now, that I am aware of, are the semi aquatic spinosaurids such as Baryonyx and Suchomimus. Also I pronounce Giganotosaurus differently than he did but I believe it's a word that has multiple correct pronunciations, like Neanderthal.

Commander Class has been nothing but banger after banger. Jetfire, Sky Lynx, Rodimus, Motormaster, Armada Prime, Magmatron, S86 Ultra Magnus. All of em damn solid toys for their price. Not a bad one yet.

Hey, I just got this figure last week. And it was in my second most expensive Transformers figure I ever acquired, at $90.00. The most expensive Transformers I bought was Metroplex at a massive $200.000. Both of which, I got from my local GameStop.
I remember encountering Magmatron back in the comics mid 2000s around when the first Bayverse movie was out so this does get me in the nostalgia even without knowing Beast Wars Neo
There’s something hilarious about how Magmatron’s third mode is just fusing 3 Dinosaurs together like it’s John Carpenter’s The Thing. It’s just one big prehistoric homunculus, and I love it.

My first exposure to this guy was in a part of IDW's _Beast Wars: The Gathering_ (highly recommend it BTW), where he absolutely bodies Grimlock.
