- This Transformers DINOBOT hurts so good. Here's my Cang Toys CT-Longyan 01 Stegsarow Review! This is a third party version of the Transformers Dinobot SNARL with an EPIC redesign. He transforms from a beautiful robot to a CHONKY stegosaurus. Man I love dinosaurs.
It's also the first part of a VERY LARGE combiner potentially named Shuraking, which is the CangToys version of the Dinobot Combiner Volcanicus. Between this and 01 Studio Seed, my hands hurt

A color changing figure that turns the spines from shiny gold to blood red when you handle it. Wonderful
It even has that iron scent! What an amazing figure!
Considering that palaeontologists hypothesised stegosaurus actually did that in real life

Cang Toys doing both the Predacons and the Dinobots right after each other is astonishing. All we need now is terrorcons and all 3 of my favorite combiners will be made in this glorious style.
I wonder how cang toys would handle the vehicle combiners because of these unique and very cool designs

Stegosaurus tail spikes are officially known as "Thagomizers", named after the late Thag Simmons (unseen character from the Far Side comic). I didn't know it until now.

@@Dumol-Bum-bot uh, a crewmate drew a comic for a newspaper where the Sususaurus kills the cave amogus with it's tail spikes, they called the spikes after the dead amogus.

Im just amazed how much engineering goes into this to make it work. Its legit baffling how far we've come from the old G1s of the 90s to...well now.

On Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, seeing the fully combined Volcanicus is on all five levels.
I like how Vulcan still makes regular appearances. It just goes to show how good of a figure he is.

My favorite part of the video was when Jobby lathered himself in autobot oil and slithered across the screen
I like that this is less of a transformer and more of a "gundam that transform into zoid that pay homage to the snarl's design", and i love it!
I love how jobby always goes back to mixmaster when things are mindnumbingly difficult
I genuinely believe his designs took hints from Gundam/eva mechs you can tell by how he has jet vents on his shoulders and huge ornamental designs on his head dress and his obvious back kibble which turns into a beautiful piece of art

Oh man. I wasn't expecting Jobby to review this guy (I was hoping, though). But what I REALLY wasn't expecting was a "Walk the Dinosaur" intro. Delightful.
Jobby is so on a roll recently, this video feels very high energy and like there was a lot of fun and passion behind it.
This review not only introduced me to these epic looking designs for the Dinobots, but now has me HYPED for each review to Come.
Also great video, you never fail to make my sides split Jobby. Keep it up.

Man this figure looks AMAZING! I would love to have him and the whole dinobots team, but I already have cang toys Predaking and BOY IS HE HUUGE! Space is definitely an issue with these awesome figures.

Just by the intro alone, am definitely getting this figure one day and as a big dinosaur nerd I love the dinobots dearly.

i gotta say I'm impressed with that combine mode transformation. The Combiners of my childhood were honestly pretty low effort and tended to look like whatever alt mode stuck to a torso as an arm or leg. And, in the worse case, the complete Combiner just looked like a robot with cars slapped on his arms and legs, Menasor. But, this bot has two great looking modes before the combiner transformation AND a combiner mode that looks like a robot stegosaurus that transformed into a bigger robot's leg.
I love the "Gerwalt" Mode you temporarily had it in where it was a dino man robot.

Thanks for the review. Finding directions from Robot to Dino are in surprisingly short supply, and given my cat's desire to utterly destroy my directions, made finding this review all the more glorious.
Well, after watching the review for the first time, I've gone on a binge and watched a whole heap of your videos now. Most epic reviewer out there, so good! Also, totally bought this too, which means I'll need to get the next five! Not bad for my first transformer! :D
Jobby, you should totally get the whole combiner team, let alone complete the third party devastator you reviewed.
He has all of the combiners for Predaking too but hasnt touched them for a while... I kinda hate that when he semi promises he'll do a full combiner series then just doesnt
I absolutely LOVE the design language of toys like this. I personally am sick of the same 16 G1-styled robots every year over and over and over and over and over again.
Gimme more non traditional designs like this, please!!!!
Bayverse had some good designs if you want non traditional me personally not every figure has to be 100 percent g1I like those designs but I like a more modern design like what they have in the bumblebee movie however I'm not a fan of them looking like Gundams especially the heads they did a much better job with the predacons Razerclaw especially.

That is, of course, a purely SUBJECTIVE opinion. That design language just is not my cup of tea at all.

Jobby, I want to see this guy finished. DONT STOP UNLIKE DEVASTATOR AND PREDAKING.
He actually has two other figures from the set rather than simply split and smash. He showed the bottom where the enemy scrotum is supposed to go, just no review for it yet. To be fair also, those figures are 200 a piece

😂😂 I truly understand how you feel regarding the sharp parts in it dude; I had the exact same problem with the Cang-Toys King Lion from the Thunderking set(aka Predaking).
No so much blood, but a hellava lot of red scratches in the palm of my hands and back of my hands as well as even on my chest( when using physical strength effort I can't pull things close to my chest at the same time as trying to be delicate when I'm trying to bend n flex things)
Cant wait to see the whole combination put together. Judging by the size of the calf, it might be nearly 3 feet tall when its completed!

Speaking of. Love the update of Snarl's beast mode to keep up with modern depictions of Stegosaurus. The longer neck and raised tail are wonderful to see realized.
With the stegosaurus mode it looks a bit more like a Kentorsarus but still one of the coolest looking Steosaurids. Love the design of this, wow amazing.
Can't wait to see you review the whole group, cuz DAMN those designs are insane!.

I knew it looked familiar without even looking at the title. The lines and colours reminded me of Cang Toys Not Predaking combiner and that one looked epic. Can't wait for a showdown between the two combined forms.

Certainly hope to see the final combined form. That way they can have the epic battle against that one arm of Not-Predaking and the one leg and head of Not-Devastator. A battle for the ages! Or Jobby's just gonna have a collection of random parts that he'll put together in a horrific Halloween special of making Franken-Tron.

I know this is 10 months old, but once I saw this the day it came out I was flabbergasted because how cool it looked and knew i had to by it. Today i received this in the mail (bought it from TF safari) it took 2 weeks but I absolutely love it, Snarl is my 2nd favorite Dinobot he is totally worth $164. Thank you Jobby for this recommendations. I might even get swoop after i get Jazz

The devil saviour figures kind of pissed jobby off so I understand why he'd quit that one but the Predaking stuff seemed promising then he just forgot about em

Jobby apparently HAS the full team for predaking but hasnt even gone past the first one. Same with Devastator(Troublemaker) but I can kinda understand the Devil Saviour ones. Split and Smash being the biggest offenders

I have SS86 Snarl. I'm good with him. This is more anatomically accurate, sure, and poseable, but all the little fiddly parts are not something I tend to like in my transformers these days.
