2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Rubicon X Review / Hybrid Wrangler receives some small updates

- The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe has been with us since 2021. Not too long ago. But for 2024, the Wrangler 4xe is already receiving a few small updates to make off-road hybrid driving a bit more enjoyable.
It doesn't see any changes to the powertrain which is still a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a couple of electric motors (one between the engine & transmission and one connected by the accessory belt). The total system output is 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque (280 kW & 637 Nm). The electric-only driving range also remains the same at 35 km (22 miles).
One major change for 2024 is the addition of a new touchscreen and infotainment system. Another big change is the availability of the 4xe powertrain. You can get it on many more trim levels. The least expensive 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport S 4xe starts at $62,190 CAD ($50,695 USD). This Rubicon X 4xe starts at $85,460 CAD ($70,990 USD).

I disagree with the wind noise and wandering my 2021 drives nice and smooth and not bad at all on wind noise
I'm just learning about the 4xe. I've read that in cold temperatures the vehicle might stay in "FORM" all winter long, or that your engine oil life can decrease to 0% very quickly because of the fuel leakage into the oil. Are these common occurences or concerns?

And risk it getting damaged & banned from driving other Stellantis cars? No thanks! This is the most off-roading I'm comfortable with doing considering I only have 10k subscribers and don't have the pull of the million subscriber channels.
This is a great hybrid until something breaks, then you fix it and something breaks again. And again, and again. And with the complicated hybrid technology, good luck finding info to tear it down and fix it, like the good old V6 it replaced. Great lease vehicle so warranty pays for repair and you only deal with the hassle.
The V6 is still available on the Wrangler. But yes, this turbo & hybrid powertrain does increase complexity and Stellantis doesn't have the best reputation for reliability. So I'm curious if any Wrangler 4xe owners who might be watching this video can let me know how their ownership has been.
2021 Wrangler Sahara 4xe owner here…only 1 issue in 3 years of ownership and my gas cap assembly needed replaced, otherwise it’s been great!

Our '23 Sahara 4xe was around $57k -- fully loaded.
