Well they're is movies about the central American wars. El salvador, Guatemala, nicaragua,. Salvador is an oliver stone movie about the salvadoran civil war. James woods plays an American photojournalist that gets in tangled in el salvador covering the war and the getting into conflict with the American backed salvadoran army. Under fire is a movie about the sandinista revolution in nicaragua and nick Nolte plays an American journalist covering that war. El norte is a Spanish language film about a Guatemalan brother and sister that flee military persecution in Guatemala and flee to America. Innocent voices is another Spanish language movie about the child soldiers of el salvador. And lots more. Most people now a days don't off a clue about the countries below Mexico. Which is a shame really. Or that our government was highly involved in Latin America all throughout the cold war.
I saw that BRCC had a new podcast so I clicked without looking at the thumbnail. Started playing while driving and was impressed by "whoever" Even was talking to... until he mentioned Somalia and getting taken prisoner. I nearly shit when I realized just who he was interviewing. Pulled over and restarted the podcast. Holy shit, being able to hear the thoughts and heart of the man I have read about. There is no more obvious choice for an elected candid, than Mike Durant 🇺🇸
F-117 pilot Greg Feast dropped the 2000lb LGB on a specifically targeted bush or hedge off a good distance from a Panamanian army barracks in order to cause confusion. That bomb wasn't a miss! Greg Feast was the top shooter in the small F-117 community at that time and because of his skill in target point location accuracy, he was also the first coalition fixed wing aircraft to drop a bomb in Desert Storm when is F-117 went alone into Iraq ahead of all other coalition aircraft and dropped a 2000lb BLU-109 LGB through the hardened bunker of the integrated air defense command center for Iraq. The true first wave in Desert Storm prior to Feast's F-117 however where the Apaches that hellfired a series of border radars for the rest of coalition aircraft to punch through that hole in the border radar network!
As long as the veterans don't turn into RINOs would definitely be nice. RINOs are just as poisonous as a far left democrat and we don't need anymore poison in D.C. or in the country
You should get some perspectives of the Leg units involved in Just Cause also. The 7th ID had a pretty good role in the invasion also. Not to mention the Soldiers stationed in Panama at the time.
160th is grey. Black work is done by another unit. I had the great opportunity to crew BH's, had an opportunity to asses for Black(wont say name to avoid trouble) however, a black hawk crash ended my career with a broken back.

Wasn't 7th I.D. in panama already?? Years ago 8th group was stationed in panama before decommissioned.
