I think you did an amazing job with the foundation paper piecing, especially for your first time! I enjoy foundation paper piecing for certain projects, like the pineapple quilt, but nothing beats hand piecing!
I don’t like when I don’t know how to do something. So going to make a quilt with foundation paper piecing. I love hand sewing I need to do more of it. Have a blessed evening.
I had never done paper piecing either. Avoided it like the plague. but when I got my books, I noticed i would have to paper piece. So, I had to learn. I spent the last two days in my quilt room doing Economy blocks. I now know how to paper piece, will be starting my blocks this weekend. Also, i had to laugh at you Miss Sara, when you kept saying 'pretty side together." That part wasn't my issue, while I was doing my paper peicing learning I had to remind myself about the flop over. i had to keep saying "Remember the pice flop over' You are such a great inspiration for the rest of us. I love how you said if you wanna lear, go watch someone else. LOL you are amazing. Cant wait for the zoom meeting!
Awww thank you sweetheart lol. I was just thinking about I’m not good at this paper piecing God help me out here lol. I’m going to sit up the zoom on a Sunday so maybe it’ll be good for everyone maybe around seven thirty. I will make a video telling everyone when. Followed from Brenda. I'm not a paper piecer. I'm for doing things easier. I found Jodi Barrows a couple years ago. So sewing 4 strip around a square can give you perfect flying geese, triangles or square in a square according to how you trim the corners. I ordered Dear Jane book but I might figure out how to sew it.

I am pretty old school. I have only pieced and quilted by hand so far. I have all the tools but trying to get comfortable with machine :)

Foundation paper Piecing can be confusing. I have never done it with freezer paper. Only put the stuff on your plate that tastes good to you. 😊
