- Watch as my son and his friend install rainbow LED strip lights to our electric skateboards and go on a night ride in the Palm Springs desert. These strip lights are super easy to install and the revel kit has a built-in usb port to plug the strips into so no wiring required! The coolest thing about these LEDs are the rainbow color schemes, I love the dancing color cycles these lights go through.

Awesome man! Lucky kids & kits!
This is such a smart idea
Cool rainbow lights! 🌈
Hey looks great guys! How have you found the ground clearance and damage to Direct drive motor casings??
Some nicks and scratches with lower profile wheels but no real damage. I put the 90mm kit wheels back on it and its got plenty of clearance now.
@@DIWHYDOTLIFEawesome. Thanks for reply. We usually ride Evolve bamboo boards with belt drive so we were wondering about clearance for large bumps, cracks in pavement, dropping off gutters etc. Will mount to old school 80s type decks 🤙
@@DIWHYDOTLIFE yes love it!!
Hi cheack out main with out baterys and in epoxy.. thanks
Do you think you can attach revel kit on a drop through deck?
I can confirm this is possible, but it won’t utilize the drop thru feature.
Whoa
The adhesive on Amazon LEDs are notoriously bad. I thought about doing this on my boosted board but I'd be too worried the LEDs would come off and get caught in the wheels and that's the last thing I need going 38km/h down the street
Respect!
ayy, nice. I wanted to get one of these skateboards and was hyped up this summer cause I wanted to get a job, but covid ended those dreams. Since you have two kits, I was wondering what you ordered on the website. I know they have two options, a 4wd bundle, or a normal 2wd kit. If you ordered the 4wd bundle, did it come with two remotes too? cause it said on the website that the 4wd bundle was two kits, but none of the unboxings showed two remotes. I was wondering because my friend also wants one of these, and if he buys it, we can split the price and each take a kit (the 4wd bundle cost less than two separate kits when ordering). Thanks!
It’s two separate kits. My next video is going to show how to “sync” two kits to do a 4WD setup. Gonna compare 2WD front vs 2WD back vs 4WD. You might be able to get a 4WD kit and get an extra remote? Gonna be a bit janks cuz you wouldn’t get a front truck or the matching front wheels, that’s probably why it’s cheaper.
I just found out that a 4WD kit is just 2 2WD kits so there is some savings there.
@@DIWHYDOTLIFE lets goo, 100 dollars off each kit then.
Yes a mate and I wondering same?
We are in Australia so the shipping is exy also.
What is a good age to let the Younghans have an electric skateboard? Thank you.
It totally depends. I would make sure they work their way up. If they’re good on a scooter, try a non-electric skateboard first. Longboards are more stable so start there then get them comfortable on a short board. Definitely don’t put them on an electric short board, my son took a spill on one once and it made him gun shy to get back on.
@@DIWHYDOTLIFE thanks again, sir. She’s nine and I got her a longboard with the push paddle for her birthday back in September.
@@DIWHYDOTLIFE but my thinking is that as long as she still can only legally ride the backseat of the car, that she has to stay with a kickboard
Check out COB led strips
Just learned about chip on board, I did a video on a COB keychain light. Extremely bright!
Riding with sandals?
Ha! Yeah, wearing Birkenstocks. Not recommended, especially at night.
👀
I love you
Thanks for spreading the love!
