To me, this feels like metallic madness' long lost album version, and I *LOVE* IT.

USA OST is so underrated, we need more remixes like this, this is amazing

This is probably the best piece in terms of being symbolic regarding what Robotnik was. JP is an excellent piece, but this is considerably better than just hammering the 88s.

The lack of US OST remixes makes me feel a bit sad, not to mention how difficult it is to find a good one, like this for example

Excellent! That's all I have to say!
Okay, it isn't. I actually have a lot to say.
First off, I love the few extra bits before the chorus. Like the aggressive kick drum, the motion synths and the extra drum elements. Also the fact the whole track builds on top of the original. Now the chorus (1:11), it's very hard hitting. I did read the description of the video and how you said you like the dramatic tone of the US OST. Here, you have it in full display. The aggressive guitars make everything very dramatic. I like how the verse after the loop (2:06) adds a more steady drum track and a few background bell melodies. And the second chorus (2:43) is even more aggressive than before. The peak of the track, let's say. And the guitar and synth work near the end (3:37) also captures that section of the original very well.
I forgot to say, the artwork is simple but nice. And I love how it changes the pallette per section!
This is easily one of my favorite US remixes. I wish to see more people make fanmade and remix tracks of the US soundtrack of Sonic CD, cause it really is a unique score.

Thank you so much! I'm glad i'm not the only one who likes the US version so much. I decided to build the remix off of the original because the original is just so good already, and I didn't want to make a drastic change to it like I see a lot of the US remixes of this song do.

While I still prefer the JP version slightly, the US version is also really good. This is an excellent remix of it. The thing is both versions are great in different ways. The JP represents how hard-hitting the zone is and the intensity. The US version shows the slower pace with a more ambiguous nature of machinery taking over but nature trying to fight back. Both are compelling.

I completely agree. It's been said a thousand times but US is "Metallic" and JP is "Madness" lol
