I was playing FFPS during the office segment, and while I was doing a task, I started to look left and then molten Freddy jumpscared me and he didn’t show up. I still heard his voice line after I got jumpscared and the jumpscare noise but I didn’t see him. I was on Saturday and on console and as far as I can tell this hasn’t happened before to anyone else. (This was on Nintendo switch if the versions on console are different from other console versions.)
Here's a pretty significant one you missed: The screwup with Foxy's Alterable_Value_D (or whatever it was called) incrementing on Custom Night even if his AI level is 0 and thus causing him to move even when he should be disabled. On a more minor note there's also an audio glitch I've witnessed with FNaF1, but I don't know if it was inherent or due to lag, or if it's still around. And that's that Freddy's regular-gameplay jumpscare (not the power out one) can sometimes not play the sound.
Astralspiff has a video compiling a lot of them but it's definitely not everything that can happen and doesn't cover every version because of its age... i'm convinced SB has infinite glitches tbh, if anyone ever manages to get the sb code on their hands i'd love to see people analyze that spaghetti-coded mess :3 :3

Friends with Scott's 2nd Cousin Twice Removed, can confirmed you were supposed to be able to sex the bear in FNAF 1 but a cosmic ray deleted the block of code for that.
This makes me giggle because it is genuinely possible for slight glitches in games to happen from like specific atom movements and shit 😂 There's a super mario 64 speedrun that did a clip that has never been replicated because of something like that that happened to the console (sorry for not being more descriptive I have no idea of the proper science behind it but it's SO cool)

I have a theory. Reason why we can win while being jump scared is because the Animatronics lock up at 6:00 preventing them from moving. So Michael would just be chilling and then gets Jumpscared, but then 6 am hits, the Animatronic now sits there deactivated. Not being able to move, startling Michael in the process.
Of course, boss fight ennard is the only exception, considering what it does in the post night cutscene, it would literally be out of character for it to give up when six am hits while it is literally standing in front of Mike, only to go “never mind” and follow Mike to his house anyway.

In FNaF 4, there's a glitch that's the same 'type' of glitch as the Night 8 in FNaF 1-3, but instead called Night 9. The night is super weird with strange animatronic behavior/activation. DJ Sterf made a few videos on it and I highly recommend looking into it if you're interested. Great video as always!
In the case of FNaF 4, you can't get to higher nights without save editing, as opposed to abusing a bug like in 1-3, so that's why there isn't a mention of it here. But yeah, Sterf's videos on FNaF Bugs are a good watch!
Looking back, the “It’s me” Hallucination in FNAF 1 is genuinely terrifying, just seeing Bonnie with small white eyes (and a lazy eye) and Freddy with realistic eyes creeps me out for some reason, like, there’s no explanation why you’re seeing this and that’s why it’s terrifying

I don't think you understand what the glitch is here. The glitch isn't that numbers work that shouldn't; the glitch is that the game recognizes the code before you're finished typing it, so if the last part of the code you typed previously was correct, but not the first part, when you type the first part in on your next go at the code the game activates the code midway through you entering it.
@@brandonbombplays9304 I agree, there were a few things I forgot while writing my previous comment (such as 1 not counting as a password number, only resets it), but my comment was regarding how both 1 and 3 resets the input. Resetting after the player inputs 3 makes sense since the password begins with 3, however 1 also works (albeit slightly differently), and I was giving my own thoughts on why this is the case

21:49 FNaF 2 is so reliant on you looking at Cam 11 that I hadn't even heard that Cam 08 and Cam 09 were disabled on Night 8! I was following the game religiously even before FNaF 2 was released so it's quite shocking to learn about it so late lol Edit: Same with Mangle playing random sounds to mess with you while in your office! I had never heard of that anywhere and it sounds like such a cool mechanic
Although fnaf 4 is the game with the least amount of glitches, it has certainly the most annoying ones, like the glitch where bonnie and chica go back to the door if they moving while the door is being closed, the audio issues when changing frames and the softlock in the 8-bit minigames. Loved the video and I'm very grateful to have contributed to it!

Honestly, this made me realise how broken some of the games really are. I know they are indie games made by one guy, but it goes to show that even famous and popular developers like Scott aren't immune to making small bugs and that it is ok if someone else makes small mistakes as well cause nobody is perfect. 18:43 this killed SO many of my 10/20 attempts and it always felt so unfair when it happened. i had a tendency to flash the puppet every time i opened the cams, especially when i was opening it while super low on power, but then my cameras would get pulled down and the flashlight made golden freddy kill me even if i reacted to bonnie or whoever in time. most annoying glitch ive run into in this series
it’s the basis of the brayden strat tho! only pulling the monitor down within the half second before a five second interval prevents golden freddy from killing you like that. so you get extra foxy flashes. very cool that this glitch turned into a strategy
as someone who does not like timer strats and put in the effort to beat 10/20 without checking intervals, i only found it to be a run killer. but it is cool that it does still have mechanical value in other strategies. just a testament to how well understood these games are on a technical level!
i could be mistaken, but i think you forgot one for ucn! when loading into a night, regardless of what office youre using, office 1 will be active for the first frame of the night (before being swapped to whichever office is selected). its only really noticable if you boost your gamma, and i assume its an error with event ordering but im not positive
actually, i think you missed two others in ucn! both of them have to do with the plushie animatronics, theyre extremely janky. they also both involve frame perfect inputs glitch #1 (known in the ucn community as "the fpi") is if you switch from cam 02 where you're camstalling the plushies to funtime foxy's camera on the frame it switches to 2:15.0 or 3:45.0, you can both watch the showtime and successfully stall the plushies. this can be used to beat 50/20 NDC without buying any of the plushies the 2nd one (somewhat known as "the mini fpi", though the name isnt really common and the glitch itself is less glorified) simply involves clicking to a different camera while camstalling the plushies and flipping down in the same frame. doing this for some reason doesn't kill you until you flip the monitor back up again (unless you flip up during a plushie grace period!) and allows for, unsurprisingly, more weird interactions with funtime foxy to minmax power. you're able to survive a 5am showtime without buying the 3am plushie by resetting ventilation after 3:40 and pulling off this trick before 3:45
What I've learned is springtrap has the mystical abilities of teliportation and cloning but refuses to use them when being watched so as to not reveal all his cards but you can trick him into thinking your not looking to observe his true power
It’s a flat poster way beyond reach, I can’t see how you could honk the nose at all! It only makes sense as a point and click easter egg, which only really works when the spot to click is visible.
the power left/usage bug is likely an artifact of development. Maybe Scott wanted that information to be diagetic, only showing on the cameras, but changed his mind since the cameras themselves use power and he didn't want you to be punished for checking your power?
Love seeing someone dive into the bugs and glitches of the original games! This reminds me of how I actually beat 4/20 of FNAF1 (mobile version) because somehow, Foxy's incoming jumpscare overlapped with me tapping the light to when Bonnie was at the door. I THINK Foxy's jumpscare sound played(?), but the game didn't actually end- it just stayed semi-frozen in the office frame with Bonnie and me having a staring contest until the very end of the night. I don't remember if I was able to press any other buttons or flip the cameras up (pretty sure I could not, but my memory isn't good enough to remember all the details of a glitch I experienced almost a decade ago😂)- from what I remember, the light technically "turned off" in the sense that the battery usage meter went back down, but the graphic never updated, so I was simply stuck staring at bonnie. Because of this, no other animatronic was able to enter the office at all, or at least, if they did, they weren't able to jumpscare me, presumably because the game thought I was still stuck checking on Bonnie AND in Foxy's jumpscare at the same time, and couldn't override that. So, I just sat there, with Bonnie's disapproving stare, until the night ended. This actually gave me the 3rd star, a.k.a. the game thought I had in fact beat the 20/20/20/20 challenge- I absolutely WAS NOT skilled enough to do that, especially on my crappy old samsung tablet way back then, but I sure claimed I beat it fair and square back then because, idk, I was a teen and thought that was impressive or something 😂 I always wondered if this bug existed on the original version of the game too, and not just the mobile version 😭 thank you for the video, you clearly put a LOT of effort and time into it!!
44:15 This EXACT bug happened to me on help wanted. I was playing fun with balloon boy, and after I shone the light on BB when he was on the X, he shortly killed me right after. (And the word "great" didn't appear.) It's almost like they copied the code that Scott made.
as someone who loves to dive in on rare and obscure bugs in games, tiny oversights that you normally wouldn't come across but if the right conditions are met you could, this video is literally like an early christmas gift

Of course Toy Freddy is more powerful than the others, this was explicitly his mechanic in UCN as a GAMER. Also; very useful to know that Toy Chica can Teleport. That will be very useful information indeed. I love the fact that honking Freddy's nose in specifically Fnaf 2, and only Fnaf 2, makes the game slightly harder. That's just. So funny. Like of course honking a horn when you have to stay quiet would make that harder. The teleporting shenanigans with Springtrap might be my favorite bit, though; using his teleport triggers to force him *back* just feels thematically appropriate, and almost intended in a way. What I'm also learning is that Bonnie is the designated series Bottom at this point, being submissive to literally everyone. Something about the scooper just... bouncing off of Mike in the softlock is killing me more then the scooper isn't killing Mike. Like. The sound effect into silence just feels almost intentionally comedic. This was a wonderful little dive into the strange mechanics behind reality inside Freddy Fazbear's. The lore implications alone will keep us fed for decades.

Actually #22 is a glitch that many fnaf players use to get rid of foxy during challenges. You can still win the game after you get rid of foxy. It makes 4:20 challenges easier because you only have 3 threats instead of four.

A funny bug/glitch i found on fnaf 1, was that if foxy runs to your office while bonnie is at the door and you time right the light button just as foxy is about to enter, he will get stuck in the jumpscare animation and not kill you, This glitch allowed me to complete 20/20/20/20 mode since chica and freddy cant enter your office unless your cameras are up.

I would love to someday see a sequel video going over the bugs and glitches that got patched out in updates. If I may, I have two questions: 1. I have observed The Bite of 1983 Victim's Fredbear Plush often loading into frame rather late compared to all else, resulting in popping. Since I do not see a patch related to it mentioned in your changelog, I assume this is not the reason for its lack of inclusions in the video, innit? Is it because it does not qualify under the video's rules somehow? Or do you believe it to be intentional? Or did you simply forget? 2. Less so to do with any glitch presented in the video and more so about the changelog that you included-You list version 1.0 as the one from 8 August 2014, however what about the July Amazon/IndieDB demo? I know the bug that causes the save file to have the lives counter '''reset''' to five was in some old demo, yet it is not listed anywhere here (though demo additions are) so I am a tad confused with this. Haven't heard of the first lol, don't know if it'd qualify I believe the July demo is the same that released on August 8th, as it was built on July 23rd (the day before it released on Amazon/Scottgames). The lives counter reset is still in v1.132

All there is listed under Demo versions are: Added demo restrictions, Added end of demo screen, Freddy’s AI on Night 5 & 6 is now always 3 & 4 instead of randomly choosing between 2/3 & 3/4, Fixed being able to flip cameras during Foxy and Freddy's jumpscares, Out-of-frame “DEMO?” counter moved slightly, Out-of-frame “v 1.1” string changed to “v 1.12”. Since the lives thing is definitely not the case in the main version, yet not listed here I figured there could, perhaps, be some more like this that you and the wider technical community know of. Damn. At first, when I saw that there were fewer glitches in FNaF 4, it seemed normal and I waited until then, expecting the glitches to be simple. But there were some really vital things. For the rest of the video, I can say that it was very successful. In FNaF 4, there's a glitch that's the same 'type' of glitch as the Night 8 in FNaF 1-3, but instead called Night 9. The night is super weird with strange animatronic behavior/activation. DJ Sterf made a few videos on it and I highly recommend looking into it if you're interested.

In the case of FNaF 4, you can't get to higher nights without save editing, as opposed to abusing a bug like in 1-3, so that's why there isn't a mention of it here.

I don't think you understand what the glitch is here. The glitch isn't that numbers work that shouldn't; the glitch is that the game recognizes the code before you're finished typing it, so if the last part of the code you typed previously was correct, but not the first part, when you type the first part in on your next go at the code the game activates the code midway through you entering it.

Resetting after the player inputs 3 makes sense since the password begins with 3, however 1 also works (albeit slightly differently), and I was giving my own thoughts on why this is the case

Although fnaf 4 is the game with the least amount of glitches, it has certainly the most annoying ones, like the glitch where bonnie and chica go back to the door if they moving while the door is being closed, the audio issues when changing frames and the softlock in the 8-bit minigames.

18:43 this killed SO many of my 10/20 attempts and it always felt so unfair when it happened. i had a tendency to flash the puppet every time i opened the cams, especially when i was opening it while super low on power, but then my cameras would get pulled down and the flashlight made golden freddy kill me even if i reacted to bonnie or whoever in time. most annoying glitch ive run into in this series
it’s the basis of the brayden strat tho! only pulling the monitor down within the half second before a five second interval prevents golden freddy from killing you like that. so you get extra foxy flashes. very cool that this glitch turned into a strategy
as someone who does not like timer strats and put in the effort to beat 10/20 without checking intervals, i only found it to be a run killer. but it is cool that it does still have mechanical value in other strategies. just a testament to how well understood these games are on a technical level!

when loading into a night, regardless of what office youre using, office 1 will be active for the first frame of the night (before being swapped to whichever office is selected). its only really noticable if you boost your gamma, and i assume its an error with event ordering but im not positive
actually, i think you missed two others in ucn!
both of them have to do with the plushie animatronics, theyre extremely janky. they also both involve frame perfect inputs
glitch #1 (known in the ucn community as "the fpi") is if you switch from cam 02 where you're camstalling the plushies to funtime foxy's camera on the frame it switches to 2:15.0 or 3:45.0, you can both watch the showtime and successfully stall the plushies. this can be used to beat 50/20 NDC without buying any of the plushies
the 2nd one (somewhat known as "the mini fpi", though the name isnt really common and the glitch itself is less glorified) simply involves clicking to a different camera while camstalling the plushies and flipping down in the same frame. doing this for some reason doesn't kill you until you flip the monitor back up again (unless you flip up during a plushie grace period!) and allows for, unsurprisingly, more weird interactions with funtime foxy to minmax power. you're able to survive a 5am showtime without buying the 3am plushie by resetting ventilation after 3:40 and pulling off this trick before 3:45
What I've learned is springtrap has the mystical abilities of teliportation and cloning but refuses to use them when being watched so as to not reveal all his cards but you can trick him into thinking your not looking to observe his true power

the power left/usage bug is likely an artifact of development. Maybe Scott wanted that information to be diagetic, only showing on the cameras, but changed his mind since the cameras themselves use power and he didn't want you to be punished for checking your power?
Love seeing someone dive into the bugs and glitches of the original games! This reminds me of how I actually beat 4/20 of FNAF1 (mobile version) because somehow, Foxy's incoming jumpscare overlapped with me tapping the light to when Bonnie was at the door. I THINK Foxy's jumpscare sound played(?), but the game didn't actually end- it just stayed semi-frozen in the office frame with Bonnie and me having a staring contest until the very end of the night. I don't remember if I was able to press any other buttons or flip the cameras up (pretty sure I could not, but my memory isn't good enough to remember all the details of a glitch I experienced almost a decade ago😂)- from what I remember, the light technically "turned off" in the sense that the battery usage meter went back down, but the graphic never updated, so I was simply stuck staring at bonnie. Because of this, no other animatronic was able to enter the office at all, or at least, if they did, they weren't able to jumpscare me, presumably because the game thought I was still stuck checking on Bonnie AND in Foxy's jumpscare at the same time, and couldn't override that. So, I just sat there, with Bonnie's disapproving stare, until the night ended. This actually gave me the 3rd star, a.k.a. the game thought I had in fact beat the 20/20/20/20 challenge- I absolutely WAS NOT skilled enough to do that, especially on my crappy old samsung tablet way back then, but I sure claimed I beat it fair and square back then because, idk, I was a teen and thought that was impressive or something 😂 I always wondered if this bug existed on the original version of the game too, and not just the mobile version 😭 thank you for the video, you clearly put a LOT of effort and time into it!!

Actually #22 is a glitch that many fnaf players use to get rid of foxy during challenges. You can still win the game after you get rid of foxy. It makes 4:20 challenges easier because you only have 3 threats instead of four.

A funny bug/glitch i found on fnaf 1, was that if foxy runs to your office while bonnie is at the door and you time right the light button just as foxy is about to enter, he will get stuck in the jumpscare animation and not kill you,
This glitch allowed me to complete 20/20/20/20 mode since chica and freddy cant enter your office unless your cameras are up.

If I may, I have two questions:
1. I have observed The Bite of 1983 Victim's Fredbear Plush often loading into frame rather late compared to all else, resulting in popping. Since I do not see a patch related to it mentioned in your changelog, I assume this is not the reason for its lack of inclusions in the video, innit? Is it because it does not qualify under the video's rules somehow? Or do you believe it to be intentional? Or did you simply forget?
2. Less so to do with any glitch presented in the video and more so about the changelog that you included-You list version 1.0 as the one from 8 August 2014, however what about the July Amazon/IndieDB demo? I know the bug that causes the save file to have the lives counter '''reset''' to five was in some old demo, yet it is not listed anywhere here (though demo additions are) so I am a tad confused with this.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Ingredients 1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar packed
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almod extract
1 large egg
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions 1 . Preheat the oven to 350 F.
2. Microwave the butter for about 40 seconds. Butter should be completely melted but shouldn't be hot.
3. In a large bowl, mix butter with the sugars until well combined.
4. Stir in vanilla and egg until incorporated.
5. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Please read the recipe note about properly measuring flour.
6. Mix dough until just combined. Dough should be soft and a little sticky but not overly sticky.
7. Stir in chocolate chips.
8. Using a medium scoop, place about 12 on a sheet, evenly placed. 8-10 min to bake, they should be soft and look a little under baked in the middle.
