It's because the camera on Smashville is pretty buggy. There was one match where ESAM took a random 1% just because it went up. If you combine the zoom in with Pikachu clipping under the stage, the game guesses that Pikachu is dead because they were close to being off the screen.

Just a few notes about some of the clips. 3:17 the point of the clip is that Ganon falls out of the DK UpB (because he slides off stage, but even then usually the characters stick in the UpB) 5:03 Ness Dair is pretty good, but it connects because of Ridley's wingspan (Upair) 6:03 like someone else mentioned, it's Banjo's UpB platform. Very often any hitbox near the blastzone will give the flash, even though it sends away (in this case up) from the blastzone 6:15 regular Sonic Bair, however the Sonic animation after that is the weird looking part 7:12 PK Flash2 does reach to behind (not too much, def not under the platform like that unless very tall character), but Samus did UpSmash and the animation caused Samus's arm to be connected with Ness at the moment of PK Flash2 9:15 though the grab was odd and you explained it well, I think the point of the clip was that they all blasted away. And that's because Richter used UpAir right during the 2nd part of Zelda UpB, causing all of them to blast away, Zelda included. Again, thanks for taking the time for the last man! In 6:03 it's actually the granade that hit Samus, not the launchpad Banjo use the granade but hits the legde of the stage and falls, thus hitting Samus (Sorry for bad english)

Yes, Joker's DownB with Arsene is either a reflector or a counter, never both. Since it reacted to granade (A projectile) as a reflector, then Joker was open to physical attacks.
I agree - rather than a WTF moment that should probably go in a Big Brain/High IQ plays video. With the way he threw the grenade and had jumped before the grenade even hit, starting the up-air just as the grenade hits, there's no way that wasn't intentional. That was on purpose.

(Unless it's intentional) You see, the reason why T-Pose exists is an easy way to edit a 3D character to do animations or to be colored. This is why it usually prevents your character from moving and is a soft lock, provided you somehow activate it. Every character in a 3D game (maybe some 2D) will have a T-pose. You aren't supposed to see it in the finished product. If you see it, it's a major glitch and it needs to be patched, which is why the guy called for a patch. *The more you know*
Whats crazy about the first clip? nair, down tilt, down smash. The big hitbox and the big knockback put lucas behind bowser because smash logic. It happens fairly often.
Can anyone explain what happened in the 1:21 clip? I've watched it 20~ish times, and I still can't make sense of it. Was Snake's C4 somehow re-attached to Snake and detonated as time passed, coinciding with his smash attack timing? I didn't see the C4 on him, but can't think of any other explanation. Does someone have some insight they could share?
0:28 The Bowser player pushed Luigi to the edge. When you push a character to the edge, they automatically wake up, causing the following incident to happen. 6:45 Plant was trying to extend to attack Sonic, but his attacks aren’t disjointed. In other words, Sonic could hit wherever on his body since it’s not like a sword, projectile, or Min Min’s arms. Since he got hit, Plant was put into his hit stun animation, which is why it looked like Sonic’s hitbox was bigger than meets the eye.
The hitboxes are mostly fine but a lot of the times the person who gets hit weird are using a move that moves their hurt box making them get hit in strange ways

That's not supposed to happen in a game AT ALL. (Unless it's intentional)
You see, the reason why T-Pose exists is an easy way to edit a 3D character to do animations or to be colored. This is why it usually prevents your character from moving and is a soft lock, provided you somehow activate it. Every character in a 3D game (maybe some 2D) will have a T-pose.
You aren't supposed to see it in the finished product. If you see it, it's a major glitch and it needs to be patched, which is why the guy called for a patch.

Whats crazy about the first clip? nair, down tilt, down smash. The big hitbox and the big knockback put lucas behind bowser because smash logic. It happens fairly often.

Can anyone explain what happened in the 1:21 clip? I've watched it 20~ish times, and I still can't make sense of it. Was Snake's C4 somehow re-attached to Snake and detonated as time passed, coinciding with his smash attack timing? I didn't see the C4 on him, but can't think of any other explanation. Does someone have some insight they could share?

6:45 Plant was trying to extend to attack Sonic, but his attacks aren’t disjointed. In other words, Sonic could hit wherever on his body since it’s not like a sword, projectile, or Min Min’s arms. Since he got hit, Plant was put into his hit stun animation, which is why it looked like Sonic’s hitbox was bigger than meets the eye.
So plat’s hitbox comes out faster then the animation?

The hitboxes are mostly fine but a lot of the times the person who gets hit weird are using a move that moves their hurt box making them get hit in strange ways

1:23 if ur confused, lucario parried snake's (bazooka? I forgot what it's called) which it also hit the C4 and he parried that which counts as a reflect, thus killing snake
