I use Luminar Neo almost exclusively for underwater photos. The new release is much, much easier to use. I'm delighted!
Please bring back adjustable gradient. It was a fantastic tool that is better than the gradient mask tool that is currently available.
Can't you just download the older version then?

The new logo for Luminar Neo is too close to the Logo for Walmart. You shoild change it back to the original Logo.

It is 11:17 am central time, and I just was able to DL the update, it has gone live
22.30h. Just received the e-mail, that the update would be available as of now. But it isn't.
Not yet available in NE United States. EST at1:45PM
After the update on Windows 11, I can not import any raw files anymore. It says "this file cannot be opened because it is too small" - any idea what the issue is? please help

Ugh, I already hate all these unnecessary UI changes after 1 minute. Logo ugly af, menu button target area annoying, Catalog overview details popping up annoying, edit preview on/off moved to the right side of the picture - annoying. Who came up with all these bad ideas??

@@LuminarGlobal Hey, thanks for replying. These little UI changes are really annoying on a big editing screen. I appreciate the 'dynamic background on/off' function. But why didn't anyone think one little step further - that we might need to change the background to black or white, which could be useful for 'professional' work? I'm not a one-button-clicker, don't need water and twilight enhancers. Upping the basics would be much more appreciated. AI masking with trees and other complicated elements (exactly where this feature would be most useful) still leaves much to be desired.
I agree!!!!!! 100%%%%% They nailed the logo for Neo the first time!!!!!!! The new one looks like the Walmart logo, ewwwww. The original Neo logo is beautiful and is connected to the name of the brand and what it represents. As a graphic designer for 20 years, a strong key to branding is once you've already and successfully established your "BRAND," you keep your "BRAND."
P.S. Where is the color range mask that is supposed to go along side of the luminance mask?????
Luminar keeps on crashing when I push the edit button after the 1.19.0 update!!

The app should work correctly this way. It's a known issue, and we're doing our best to resolve it as soon as possible and deliver the hotfix. After the update, i can't use it as a plug-in in photoshop... why is that?

But the NEO it is still the slowest software to open. 1.5 minutes // vs LR, ON1 Photo with their 12 secondes, all with the same photo library content.

Can't say I like the new logo, It is nearly a copy of the Walmart logo.

I still prefer Luminar AI in numerous ways.
When time does the update come out in the UK please thank you. And can't wait to try out the new features and one again you thank you so much for this amazing product.
If you are seeing this, then check for updates in your software from time to time, but, there will be a lot of users trying to download at the same time, so wait 2-3 hours, until the madness subsides. Unlike Linux, Skylum does not have 40-50 world-based servers where you can download their product, so, be patient.

@@onehalph Not sure of the time, you just have to keep checking as sometimes there are delays. I see nothing on Skylum's website either. In the past, 10am Central has been the time for me here in America.
I think Luminar Neo is still missing a fully functional masking feature. Compared to Lightroom, Luminar's masking is really hard to use.
But on the bright side, the latest update did improve the performance a bit, so at least there's less lag when painting masks now.
I don't know what exactly you changed from the Merge HDR module, but it's 50% better now those results!!! Thanks
I updated on my MacBook Air and my iMac, both Intel, and now when I want to adjus the program crashes on both. Also after reinstalling.

After installing the update the program does not start. Just the logo. Windows 10.

Hallo liebes Skylum-Team. Ich bin schon seit etlichen Jahren Skylum-Kunde. Derzeit habe ich ein Problem mit Neo. Mein letztes Update was funktioniert hat, ist die Version 1.15. Neuere Updates werden nicht mehr installiert. Mein Mac hat das Betriebssystem Catalina. Können Sie mir einen Tipp geben ?

Hallo Jürgen! Es tut mir leid, Ihnen mitteilen zu müssen, dass ab dem Luminar Neo 1.16.0 Update macOS 11.0 oder höher erforderlich ist. Leider funktionieren neuere Updates nicht auf 1.15 Catalina.

Neo 1.9 is not working as a filter in Photoshop anymore :( I get a weird message when I try to load it in Photoshop, saying "Windows can't find "bad"". It works just fine as a standalone app. Please fix!

Try this, it fixed my problem on a PC, got this from Luminar help
Make sure Photoshop is not running. If the app was running, reboot your PC before proceeding.
Right-click the Luminar Neo icon > Run As Administrator.
Click Luminar Neo>File > Install Plugins.
Click Uninstall next to Photoshop/Lightroom.
Reboot your PC.
Right-click the Luminar Neo icon > Run As Administrator.
Click Luminar Neo >File > Install Plugins.
Click Install next to Photoshop/Lightroom.
