The milk formula thing was worse than just breast milk being better nutritionally for small children; exclusively feeding babies formula doesn't inherently lead to the babies dying of malnutrition. The bigger issue was that Nestlé was promoting it for distribution and sale in developing countries with low literacy rates amongst mothers (and therefore reduced access to actual factual information) and inconsistent or low access to potable water, meaning babies were not only missing out on the immune-system boost that natural breastmilk provides but also being exposed to the worst kind of shit in the water, which you need a mature immune system to deal with.
......... and of course being in very low income areas once they started using the formula they stopped producing their own milk and if they could not afford to buy formula or get to somewhere they could buy it they had to dilute it further with predictable results.
JUGGZ is one of the only podcasts for which I am glad for a longer episode. Most other podcasts I’m like “can we wrap this up please? I have things to do” but I could listen to y’all guys talk about turkey twizzlers for 7 consecutive hours. I don’t know why 😂maybe it’s one of those parasocial things
Just got to the end of the video and wanted to say how much I appreciate you bringing the topic up and addressing it head on. Companies get away with so much. I've had a horrible year; started a new job and my teammate had to get a hip replacement. My manager spent the whole 8 weeks I was alone telling me I was not allowed to start my lunch break unless we had an empty task queue. But I also had to have cover from other teams that I had to arrange before 10. So if the time for arranged cover came and went and I wasn't able to clear the queue? I missed lunch several times. This like, isn't the place, but my heart goes out to Vallejo and GW staff, and thank you again for talking about it. I hope they steal everything.
Yeah Nestle telling parents to not breast feed and use baby formula, activated with dirty/poisoned water was the reason I've never deliberately bought anything from Nestle since learning it.
I really appreciate you bringing up the strike. I am a union worker in America and it is a thing around here and this isn’t for a small company. There’s some very major corporations so I’m glad that you bring light to it and know that people should fight for their wage and their well-being at work.
Charlie sounds like the kinda kid I saw a video of, crying his eyes out at the Thanksgiving table how he's thankful for everyone and everything he's got :D It was so sweet.
The Gw wage discussion is IMMENSELY upsetting. It's so awful to hear the reality of that wealth disparity. But by the same token makes me appreciate the boots on the ground staff even more, the love and passion they must have for this hobby to stay in those roles is amazing
I have almost never commented on a video and my god the pay at GW is beyond appalling. I felt the same level of rage as Rob and yes, still everything that isnt nailed down. They should all have a 100% pay rise. Jesus what greedy terrible management practices
2:01:36 was the moment I've been waiting for this whole time the podcast had been running. 2:01:45 was the moment I've been waiting for my whole life. When is the WHOLE world gonna realize that the answer is simply this: "Quit! Burn it down! Flip a table! Steal sooooo much stuff!" This could be the battle cry of the revolution
Was chomping at the bit for this next free video 👀 Watched each one at least twice now 😅Probably should get on Patreon, but I am a tight bastard! Merry Xmas when it comes guys 🎄🎄🎄
Bonus Sunday Juggz. Happy days. It really *does* cost nothing to be kind and just let people's joy and enthusiasm in the hobby be. As many have pointed out already Rob is already a Loretuber for at least The Old World. And as The Old World is a return to the warhammer world in an earlier time pre blowing up he is also a historical gamer. Where in the TSN are you installing the train set, grandad. The conversation re union representation in the hobby and in workplaces in general was really healthy and helpful and will hopefully help people realise the help and rights available to them
Spanish unions have much more power than British unions. The companies not just have to recognize any official union, they workers have to choose cernain number of union representatives depending of the size company. Some of them like UGT organized theirselves and fought during the Spanish Civil War!
Rob has actually done at least one other lore video! He got together with Val and they read a book together for the Warriors of Chaos Arcane Journal! And it was amazing; high quality loretuber 💪
The discussion about the bad business practices of Vallejo and Games Workshop was excellent. The managers and executives responsible should be named and shamed for their exploitation of their employees. Rob - buy a share and then ask awkward questions are their Annual General Meeting: „As a shareholder, I require the Management explain their incompetance…“
Am sure it was Nestle that gave baby formula for free in Africa, waited until the mothers stopped producing milk then started to charge for the formula.
Rob I can't let this stand! I'm an archaeologist currently on site listening to Juggz while I record a ditch, the Romans had glass I've found it before and the coliseum being flooded for sea battles is attested to historically twice. Gladiator 2 still sucks tho😂
The last portion of this podcast is... eye opening. To say the least. I think many people were aware of GW paying relatively low wages, but some of those numbers seem particularly egregious given Games Workshop's continuing meteoric rise in profits year after year. And yes, big shout out to Dave for doing a really great Gundam video - all those explanations of the various grades were useful though if I'm completely honest I will never remember them unless I have a written note in front of me.
I think you’re conflating a lot of things in your memory of the whole Jamie Oliver thing. It was about what the schools were serving children up, not about what parents were cooking or could or could not afford. He had a huge impact of the nutritional content of school dinners and was a pioneer ahead of the current ‘no ultra processed food’ movement.
They said to get in the comments to cheer on the successes of Louise and Peachy. But, I think I am just going to back up Rob on his statements about loretubers. Why not, ey?
1:24:49 THANK YOU. Don't get me wrong, the first time I saw the Megazord on Power Rangers I thought it was cool AF. But I was 6. And that was 30 years ago.
Peachy. Have you made a Minecraft rollercoaster for Charlie? When you both get bored you can make it so the mine cart falls onto a TNT trigger which blows everything up. Not that I did that as an adult….for myself. Second note, let your mate on the realm know so he doesn’t discover it by showing his four year old the ‘great rollercoaster’ 😬
Century eggs are the literal worst and probably come from the warp or Nurgle itself. afaik, they are not 'saltified', but they are made with lye, which is terrible. Do yourself a favor and try baloot, or balute instead.
Rob needs to start the union for hobbyists and become the hobby union’s senior barrister and northern district officer (HUSBANDO) for all these workers. He’d nail it
Ha, it's hilariously cute hearing you guys speaken Deutsch. It's called "Hupen". Which actually means "Hooters". Which is funny, since I never really understood what hooters means and never looked it up until now

I think fuddle might be a Nottinghamshire thing. I had no idea what one was, until I worked at a few different Nottinghamshire schools and they *all* did them. Also, as a fussy eater, they are the worst thing in the world
Weird thing about century egg, just tastes like egg for the most part. Not a supper strong flavor like blue cheese or nato. Main difference is color and texture.
Sorry the hear the sad news about Dan Vimes - though I did not know him personally, he clearly was very much appeciated and loved by the Juggz, PeachyTips, Rogue Hobbies and Rob THW Communities.
@JuggzthePodcast 🤣 They had naval battles in there but the ships were built with shallower hulls so the water didn't need to be that deep. I'm pretty sure there weren't sharks though.
"built like a funko pop"... No wonder Louise looked so natural as a Sister of Battle - she's just Heroic Scale! 😂
The milk formula thing was worse than just breast milk being better nutritionally for small children; exclusively feeding babies formula doesn't inherently lead to the babies dying of malnutrition. Reckon we should do something about them
......... and of course being in very low income areas once they started using the formula they stopped producing their own milk and if they could not afford to buy formula or get to somewhere they could buy it they had to dilute it further with predictable results.
I have avoided all Nestle products ever since because of this formula attack on people.
JUGGZ is one of the only podcasts for which I am glad for a longer episode. Most other podcasts I’m like “can we wrap this up please? I have things to do” but I could listen to y’all guys talk about turkey twizzlers for 7 consecutive hours.

Out heart goes out to you. May your manager get fired and you get several raises
Best wishes. Agreed with supporting workers.
Wow, the Vallejo and GW topic was upsetting. Great discussion! Thanks for sharing!
We apologise
Rob's absolute fucking outrage at the 'Eavy Metal painters' wages gives me life.
Peachy congrats on 40k subs, and Louise, congrats on the gundam competition win!!!
Thank you!!
Great episode. Bitta Christmas cheer. Bitta class war shenanigans. Good combo.
perfect
Yeah Nestle telling parents to not breast feed and use baby formula, activated with dirty/poisoned water was the reason I've never deliberately bought anything from Nestle since learning it.
Agreed
They are one of the companies I could say are truly evil, more so than ambivalently maleficent that most others are.
I really appreciate you bringing up the strike. I am a union worker in America and it is a thing around here and this isn’t for a small company. There’s some very major corporations so I’m glad that you bring light to it and know that people should fight for their wage and their well-being at work.

OMG Peacy that is the most sorry looking hat :(
Chipping in to get Peachy an impressive Santa Hat :D
😂😂😂 I did have a better one but couldn’t find it, so I opted for hobo Santa instead
The Gw wage discussion is IMMENSELY upsetting. It's so awful to hear the reality of that wealth disparity.
But by the same token makes me appreciate the boots on the ground staff even more, the love and passion they must have for this hobby to stay in those roles is amazing
Stilton is the king of Blue Cheeses.
Congrats again Peachy for 40k
Well done Louise on 2nd place. Sure you will win it next year when you enter.

This is my favorite episode of Juggz! You guys are the best and you had some solid topics!!
Was chomping at the bit for this next free video 👀 Watched each one at least twice now 😅Probably should get on Patreon, but I am a tight bastard! Merry Xmas when it comes guys 🎄🎄🎄
I LOVE YOUR JUGGZ!!!
new juggz! Just made my Sunday! 🎉❤
Bonus Sunday Juggz. Happy days. It really *does* cost nothing to be kind and just let people's joy and enthusiasm in the hobby be. Heheh, replay value is real. Thanks for bein an amazin 3rd space ❤
As someone who is currently ill, the blue cheese sock talk was painful lol ❤
Rob has actually done at least one other lore video! He got together with Val and they read a book together for the Warriors of Chaos Arcane Journal! And it was amazing; high quality loretuber 💪
Oh no
@JuggzthePodcast It's spreading
Rob is basically da red gobbo before the xmas makeover.
He's a nightmare
@JuggzthePodcast shutupshutupshutup, he's a lovely boy!
Support your workers unions.
never expected Juggz today, always a good thing.
Rob needs to accept that he's a great male role model! I mean, it's so hard being a man in the hobby, how much worse to be a just a wee lad?
Them wee lads need some help
BLUE CHEESE LOOKS VILE AND IT SHALL NEVER TOUCH MY LIPS.
COWARD
@JuggzthePodcast I may be a coward, but at least I'm not eating mould! 🤘
Blue Cheese Burger… yes, very tasty.
Perfect timing. Im putting together a mid sleeper bed for my daughter and am losing the will to live. Great time for some juggz to appear.
Am sure it was Nestle that gave baby formula for free in Africa, waited until the mothers stopped producing milk then started to charge for the formula.
That's the case, at that point I would consider that criminal behaviour simply.
This episode is brought to you by the meat paste industry
Rob is Santa confirmed!
finally my monday will be bearable thx to this podcast
Congrats on hitting 40k peachy!!!!!
Peachy grew up in the smelters of Germany and Rob was fed. the. paste. 😩
Eyyy, really laughing along. Best wishes, Team!! Happy end of year. Better luck in the next one. 🎉 Nurgle Bless.
4:36 I bought some meat paste as an adult, having loved it as a child. Turns out my palette had somewhat changed....
........ and to be fair probably so had the paste recipe too.
14:15 fuddle was a term I learnt after moving to the midlands (working in the NHS). It certainly wasn't something I'd ever heard down south.
More peace, love and Juggz in 2025
What a treat juggz on a Sunday
As a fellow funko pop I see you Louise
Small head gang rise up
Hurrah! More listening fun for my hobby time. Static grass basing Bloodbowl players will be a lot more fun now
Rob I can't let this stand! I'm an archaeologist currently on site listening to Juggz while I record a ditch, the Romans had glass I've found it before and the coliseum being flooded for sea battles is attested to historically twice. Gladiator 2 still sucks tho😂
The best part is Jamie Oliver then went to american and told the school kids there the same 🤣
The last portion of this podcast is... eye opening.
They couldn't even make fucking glass back in the day 🤣
I like the idea that using 7TV you could “shoot” the new 40k show before Cavil does…
I think you’re conflating a lot of things in your memory of the whole Jamie Oliver thing. It was about what the schools were serving children up, not about what parents were cooking or could or could not afford. He had a huge impact of the nutritional content of school dinners and was a pioneer ahead of the current ‘no ultra processed food’ movement.
We are happy kids are getting better food
He also shamed parents in their homes, I do remember an episode where he shamed a family feeding just pogos. Same shit for School Dinners in America
Blue cheese is SO good on pizza. With kebab too, of course.
Peachy. Have you made a Minecraft rollercoaster for Charlie? When you both get bored you can make it so the mine cart falls onto a TNT trigger which blows everything up. Not that I did that as an adult….for myself. Second note, let your mate on the realm know so he doesn’t discover it by showing his four year old the ‘great rollercoaster’ 😬
love me blue cheese. simple as
its so nice
Being from western NY I can’t imagine a world without Blue Cheese - why would you eat chicken wings with anything else?
I agree
Shout out to all the parents 😂 I’m sure everyone’s doing their best ❤
All of them
"The blue cheese of eggs" is the least appealing description of food I've ever heard
Century eggs are the literal worst and probably come from the warp or Nurgle itself. afaik, they are not 'saltified', but they are made with lye, which is terrible. I tried one whole (mistake) and it tasted like how toilet cleaner smells. Apparently you are supposed to slice it really thin and serve it with something else like rice or something. Do yourself a favor and try baloot, or balute instead.
For Christmas we are having Flæskesteg. It is a danish pork roast with crackling. And I am making a cherry amaretto icecream for dessert
Perfect!!!
Rob needs to start the union for hobbyists and become the hobby union’s senior barrister and northern district officer (HUSBANDO) for all these workers. He’d nail it
What's a Turkey Twizzler? 😂 Glad I'm vegan. 🦃☠ 🤣
steal everything... STEAL EVERYTHING
Thanks Louise for sharing the Scottish mince trauma of several generations, those south of the border seem to have escaped it!
We had stew
@JuggzthePodcastwe had the mince *and* the stew *and* the cornflake chicken
Ha, it's hilariously cute hearing you guys speaken Deutsch.
It's called "Hupen".
Which actually means "Hooters".
Which is funny, since I never really understood what hooters means and never looked it up until now
Booooobs
Fuddle = Food Cuddle
We’re doing create your own pizzas for Xmas… kids don’t appreciate a roast just yet and missus doesn’t want to spend all day in the kitchen (and if I cooked we’d spend all day in a&e
Perfect!!!
Blue clues sometimes is okay but not always and the idea of blue cheese nann doesn’t appeal particularly, because I am more interested in sweet things.
edit:
A fuddle is an English word in the Oxford English Dictionary, the earliest known use of the word fuddle was in 1680, in a translation by Roger L'Estrange. The word was recorded as a verb as early as the late 1500s.
Here are some related words and definitions for fuddle:
Fuddle as a verb: To make someone drunk or intoxicated, or to confuse them and make them unable to think clearly
Fuddle as a noun: A confused state
Fuddled: An adjective that means experiencing confusion or disorientation, usually as a result of being old or drinking alcohol
Fuddler: A noun
Some synonyms for fuddle include:
addle, baffle, bamboozle, befuddle, bemuse, bewilder, confound, discombobulate, disorient, and flummox. (Not all geeks are miniature related)
Personally I would use it as a sexual reference to describe a person who was touching themselves as fuddling their yoke…
Festive greetings all 🎉🎁 🎉
Well done Louise for coming 2nd in Gunpla 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I've been slacking on Juggz but I'm glad I caught this one.
The payscale for some of the stuff in the hobby seems pretty atrocious. I'm glad there is some exposure of that with this cast.
Thanks for the fun and the little end bit of horror there team! 😂
With you Rob, all robots look the same. Maybe one has a sword and one has a gun 🤷♂️
Firstly apologies for the number of msgs am watching this in between dinner, kids bedtime and now ironing! For Mr Peach in particular, are you aware of Bot War? Think 80’s kids cartoons such as transformers, gi Joe, MASK etc on the table top! Really fun game, I think the third Ed is gunna drop soon if it hasn’t already- I should dust off my starter set and play it again.
Just started watching and now I’m craving the meat paste sandwich of my youth.
You'll hate it
As per the poor pay in GW. For a long time the staff in the Copenhagen store where paid what the UK store staff was, which is a lot less than a similar danish store employee would make. It took a Danish union to intervene and get it changed.
That's awful
I remember working at GW and my Manager would get a PRP bonus (performance related pay). For everything we made over 100% YTD target the manager would get 10% of this as a bonus.
I was VERY lucky that my boss split this with me as we were a 2 man store and he recognised that the effort was equal. However, I was pretty shocked to find out not every manager did this 😬
wild they didnt
@JuggzthePodcast wild that the bonus scheme at the time purely benefitted managers (however this was during the transition into the one man store model so maybe it was a "gentle" shove onto squad leader courses - however 'get a store 3 months after training has finished or lose your job' wasn't for me)
"It's just the same robot!" Thank you 😅
The infant formula thing was a certain Swiss mega corporation and it’s not to do with formula being worse than breast milk, formula has to hit a minimum nutritional standard but breast milk gives a whole slew of side benefits beyond just sustenance. The reason the infant formula scandal is so bad and why so many babies died was that they promoted formula as better than breast milk and gave mothers free samples. What eventually happened was the mothers were then forced to buy the formula once their free samples ran out (not easy in often poverty stricken areas), but by this point their own milk supplies had run out as they weren’t expressing milk to keep supply up. All in all avoid a certain company starting with N.
Stilton toasties.
Danke, dass Sie auf unsere Krüge gekommen sind
😂🤣
I don’t really use Vallejo I use turbo dork also peachy I have got into stargrave frostgrave and silver bayonet because of you and Louise I miniatures all of them there brilliant
39:23 I’m listening to Peachy’s PC woes. And my initial thought is software fault not hardware. There’s probably a background task or newly updated piece of software that’s screwing everything up
That’s what I’ve been wondering, it can play a ton of decent pc games, but seems to get super sluggish now, I’ll need to investigate
We had a similar issue at work with a rogue process crippling certain models of computers. Ultimately a couple of causes were found
Agreed, software would be my bet too. It's usually not ambiguous when hardware fails unless it's maybe a bad RAM stick. It's probably something daft like his integrated graphics chip is now trying to handle all the video rendering instead it going through his graphics card.
Reminds me of Premiere Pro eating disk space when updates kept reverting settings...
Hated the repeated inconvenience of setting up and resetting damn scratch disks.
Yeah, maybe worth removing and reseating the ram.
And checking the graphics card is being used in the video software is worth it.
And perhaps try looking at how much disk space and ram you have free during the edit and export.
Good luck…
I know I know… but just get a Mac, they just work and chew through rendering… New Mac mini is pretty good price wise too 40:17
FYI all the Indians I know call the sauce part of their curries gravy
LOVE THAT
Have Dave on Juggz!!
Careful on your freaky cheese, Chat. 🧀 🎉 🍻
No wars but class wars and minis wars!
Also, Peachys low wage was why he had to eat meat paste for so long.
All manufactures do this no one should rely on bonuses I don’t get one regardless on how much the company make I get at most 50 pound Tesco voucher the problem is they treat specialised workers as warehouse workers it’s common practice in big companies
Huzzah more Juggz! Please can you update spotify? As I like to listen after watching during my commute!
Surely Louise isn't 37.
I know! I think it’s a lie…..she possibly has elven blood 🤷♂️
Wait WHAT. I thought she was like, 30 *at most*.
The Jamie Oliver campaign was for better school dinners, not attacking parents for what they served at home.
Also hi!
Another great episode! Where can I find info about the shatterpoint events? There’s nothing listed on the TSN website
Rob is kinda right as Curry is the Indian word for gravy
I think fuddle might be a Nottinghamshire thing. I had no idea what one was, until I worked at a few different Nottinghamshire schools and they *all* did them. Also, as a fussy eater, they are the worst thing in the world
Weird thing about century egg, just tastes like egg for the most part. Not a supper strong flavor like blue cheese or nato. Main difference is color and texture.
Hehehe touching cloth…
Sorry the hear the sad news about Dan Vimes - though I did not know him personally, he clearly was very much appeciated and loved by the Juggz, PeachyTips, Rogue Hobbies and Rob THW Communities.
Mould is NOT food
@Rob The Honest Wargamer I think the word you were searching for at 1:39:20 is „Outlier“.
They did flood the Colosseum.
With lies
@JuggzthePodcast 🤣 They had naval battles in there but the ships were built with shallower hulls so the water didn't need to be that deep. I'm pretty sure there weren't sharks though.
Blue cheese, aka overly molded cheese
Are we asking day early?! I feel like I normally see then on Monday's.
Christmas present!
