there was a time when Alex albon started with f1 lewis hit him 2 time when he was trying to take the lead from him . because of that he lost and fall behind so much. but he is successful for sure .
I love Lewis not only because he is an amazing sports person, an amazing driver, but also how is actually sooooo much more than that - an artist, an activist, a humanitarian, a true animal lover. When he won his 7th championship here in Istanbul, I was screaming and crying for him - you deserve the best man, and thank you so much, especially for being the voice of the voiceless.
I'm white, female, from Fargo (USA) where there weren't black people growing up so I struggle to understand how people can be bigoted. But I still appreciate your message and admire your compassion, tenacity, and learned wisdom. It is heartbreaking to hear how you were mistreated. As a mother, I want to scoop you up and hug you until your spirit rests. Fortunately, it sounds as tho your own mother provides such comfort for you. Being new to F1, just three years, I admire how you remain humble and stay on the higher ground. Your parents raised you well - and - more importantly, you were teachable and receptive. Keep up the good work, Sir Lewis.
Did he mention his mother is white? Or all he talked was about him? He always exaggerates about racism. And at the same time he was laughing about the height of Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda on grill the grid challenge. Isn't that also racism?
Some of my favorite Key Points in this podcast: • Using your platform as a service • Believing in yourself • Being a positive light • Be yourself • Diversity • Representation on a bigger platform to inspire the youth • Living a happier life being open (not living in fear) • Overcoming fear • Create Content that inspires the youth (everyone) • Lazer focus • Setting intentions daily • Moving with purpose • Always a student (Always learning) • Declutter your life • Emotional Mastery Thank you guys! Definitely going to share!
yes, it’s sad. My ex was brought up that way that if he cried his parents or dad or tell me what is a weak person, blah blah blah cry, you’re allowed to let out you can feel your emotions that sells a selfie men and women or the same we all have divine master van feminist I am crying is a normal thing to do.
Such a humble guy considering the prestige he has earned. You can imagine how he could have taken a different path and become bitter. That takes character. A true champion.
@@incognito96 Verstappen and Leclerc didn't take each other out or their team mates to win, and that's more than you can say for Lewis Hamilton over the years!
@@mmd5730 100% you are correct he does not take his team mate or charles out, he will shit on them and cry like a little baby and say things like "because i have my reasons" Max only tries to take Lewis out. Why could that be, go figure
Man this guy is truly an inspiration, his calm energy and kind words are remarkable. I’m already a Lewis Hamilton F1 fan and listening to this podcast was refreshing. I think his level of compassion, integrity and outlook on life is truly amazing. #teamLH
HE IS LITTRALLY EVIDENCE, A VERY PRIVLIDGED IDIVIDUAL , HIGHER THEN MAJORITY OF PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD, NOT EVEN BLACK BUT ONLY HALF BLACK, BUT THE EFFECTS OF THE SYSTEM A SELECT FEW WHITE PEOPLE CREATED BACK THEN IS ALIVE IN THE WORLD WE LIVE IN NOW, AND EVEN MANAGES TO AFFECT SOME ONE LIKE LEWIS HAMILTON, WHAT A SHAME
As a huge F1 fan for over 25 years, I have to admit there have been some phenomenal F1 drivers over the years. What sets Lewis apart isn't the fact that he is one of the greatest drivers of all time, but that he is undoubtedly one of the greatest humanitarians that ever graced the sporting world. He will be loved and remembered as not just the greatest racer, but as such a beautiful soul. He is the real super hero our world needs 😊
don't forget that lewis is the ONLY black man who technically ever raced in F1, n he still managed to beat almost every record possible, which is why he is the ULTIMATE GOAT, not one of the GOATs
Not only what you listed above but he came in as the kid with less resources and he beat a bunch of kids with more resources against all odds. Him and his dad are truly inspirational.
I think he is a fake and the most toxic F1 champion there will ever be. The guy is a bully that met a bigger man and driver, Max made him show his real colors and now he looks like a complete fake.
Here are some of my personal favorites 11:05 - 11:18 > Do your talking on the track 16:20 - 16:58 > Surround yourself with positive people to lift yourself up 22:15 - 22:25 > Find purpose: when you use what makes you happy to serve other people 42:28 - 43:27 > Try to find other things you are interested in before you are retired 1:03:20 - 1:04:23 > Learn from failures 1:05:40 - 1:06:00 > Replenish your energy with positive things
I've known this man all my life and what you saw here is what you get. Man's humble, inspiring, grateful and radiates love and positivity. That being said like he said he wasn't always like this. His values weren't always this purpose driven. It just goes to show all of us are capable of change and greatness! Let's get em in 2023 champ! #LH44 #StillWeRise
He had a motor home and went go carting every weekend....wow. I grew up on an Essex council estate, my dad was a docker, and only rich people had camper vans. Hamilton is full of shit, going on about racism and discrimination with his middle class accent...what a load of of bollox!
I’ve never heard another F1 driver speak so openly about their life regardless of their race gender sexuality etc. As an educator his words were very powerful. I believe we will be hearing from Sir Lewis Hamilton for many years beyond his racing career. I look forward to the future with folks like him in it.
As a Mexican of course I absolutely love and want Checo Perez to win. But this is why Lewis is my favorite driver. His story, character and heart as a human being is so inspiring for me. Just know Lewis that there’s fans out here that still believes you’ll win your 8th title.
It's just insane that he gets any hate. I know sport is a passionate thing for people but he has always just had to be a little bit better than everyone else in the grid. So much pressure on his shoulders. Such an inspiring person.
@@marlonbrown5763 Well F1 isnt like other racing sports, if you want the fastest driver to win, go watch f2, or f3, thats the beauty of f1, its a show that combines money influence and talent, talent in engineers, race directors, coaches and drivers, influence in fanbases, yes you might be the most talented driver, but if you dont have the money/influence/talent, all of the above, or a combination of two, your chances are severly hurt.
Fear.....thank you so much for raising this. You have more to lose (materially and status-wise) than most, yet you stepped up and you stepped out. 'Risk it all'. Lewis, you mentioned that we do not have long on this planet, I hear you. The journey moves so swiftly (especially when we are having an amazing time riding that wave) and before we know it, we are out the door. Also, life is uncertain. Thank you for doing this NOW. Because we do not know what is around the corner for us, so what you have recorded / written / said / promoted is saved, locked down for the future generations to relate to. I'm listening to you and I feel you brother, spiritually. You never stayed victim. You never stayed 'down'. Just because you are successful in this world you are not imprisoned by this success which has allowed you to live freely, mind, body and soul. Thank you so much. And to Jay.......your facilitation is light......that's all I can say. Thank you.
Being a TH-camr myself, I understand how much life can feel like a race... I got chills at 19:55 when he said "I'm fighting for something far greater than winning a race." That sums up pretty much how our whole life should be defined. Sure, the 'race' and making INDIVIDUAL progress is important, but impacting others is the most valuable currency of all. Hats off to both men for making this a stellar episode. 🔥
Lewis literally changed my life in 2018, when I started to watch F1. Since, he shine my life, he is so much inspiring especially in bad moments. He radiates love & positivity. Lewis Hamilton is OUR GOAT ! #44
I admire Lewis Hamilton for his character, kindness, and how he handles setbacks with resilience. I appreciate his authenticity and how he uses his platform for positive change. I also find him an inspiration in my own life, and his impact on the world goes beyond racing. Lewis is seen as a true champion and a role model for future generations. His wisdom, humility, and compassion have left a lasting impression on those who have heard his interviews. The profound influence Lewis has on people, not just as a driver but as a remarkable individual is dedicated to making the world a better place. ❤
MEEEE , well I’m a die hard Lewis fan. He’s just a visionary on and off the track. He’s just an amazing and beyond the most influential driver across anyyy Motorsport or any sport in general and in life
I love how Lewis is now in a position to inspire others, especially kids, through the clarity of his own example. There is so much good we can do in this world once each of us heals old wounds and traumas within. 💕💕💕 Thank you Jay for inviting such an amazing people to your podcasts! Its been a pleasure to listen to those beautiful and inspiring messages.
In terms of Lewis's mentality, that is where he excels over the vast majority or his peers. How he publicly breaks himself down after a bad race or qually but then comes back the next session or race almost without fail, is something only a very small percent of us humans can do so consistently. Amazing and inspiring.
"The easiest thing in life is to give up, on whatever you're focused on, or whatever you're hopeful for. The hardest thing is to keep going, but we have to, we have to continue to hold one!" - Sir Lewis Hamilton.
It all start with a good foundation. Congratulations to all who are doing big things today because they had good parents or Mentors to help them start right. And to all who had no inspiration or exposure to discovering your talents, there's still hope.
What about people that came from a broken home with no-one to give them even a piece of bread to eat everyday?? Or the people that were abandoned by their parents and had only themselves to inspire what they do?? Or people that had a parent that was ill and had to attend to them instead of themselves ?? I could add more to this list and wouldn't have bothered replying to your post but you need to be aware it's not always as you see what you think it is I can sure you that. Ive had to eat shit from bins sleep in cardboard boxes in the bitter cold of winter I didn't have any to no schooling as I'd to do anything to try get myself out of where I was left and with no-one no one to aspire to but me. That's what making something of yourself is not what your watching on videos on here it's actually an insult to me reading some of this on here as you never believe in yourself if you digest this into any sort of meal for your future in life. It's someone else asking you to idolise them and put them before you as you appear to have already done. Please. Lice well Live long Life is short Then it's gone
I am addicted to Jay's podcast these days......he brings out the best in people. Just today I had listened to 3 of his podcasts.....it helped me go to a space within myself which I didn't know exist and its wonderful. Thank you!!!
Absolute purposeful podcast ever! I am addicted to it to especially in the most difficult times in all areas of my growth & life! Hope to have the most purposeful year ahead in 2023!
Umbelieveable podcast Jay, i have newfound respect for Lewis Hamilton. To grow up in that environment and STILL make it at the face of all the racists and people trying to break him down.
Just commented on another page. Regret my initial complaint "click-bait-sounding titles" .... the overarching thing is gratitude. Challenges and growth, that is what is so valuable and I appreciate what you are doing, Jay. Deep gratitude. Also derive wisdom and support through monastic experience. Peace and love
Lewis just oozes class and inspiration. I have only been in F1 for around 1 year now, and I always wish for him to win! Listening to Lewis & Jay has opened my eyes to how respectful, encouraging and courteous Lewis really is. I am unbelievably lucky to be in this day and age to listen to such knowledgeable humble icons.
Such an inspiration! Lewis is truly my hero. I never had to face what he faced. I don’t know if I could make it through the way he did! I feel very blessed that I witnessed his journey in my generation ❤
Never lose sight of your dreams and don't give up. Totally resonates with where I am at. A 3yr battle to find a quality of life after a terminal cancer diagnosis with so many times it would have been easier to give up living. I was bullied through school too for being myself and different. And it continued into adulthood. It made me bury my authentic self but if there is one thing I am grateful to cancer for it was refinding myself and embracing and accepting her fully. Everything builds us into the people we are. Needed this today. Great inspiration. Thank you. ✌☮🖤
@@heartofanempress Sending you lots of love ❤️You're so brave and I'm glad that you've been able to turn such a traumatic experience into something positive 💜
Not gonna lie, I went from not liking Lewis and thinking he was a self-entitled cocky guy to actually respecting the hell out of him, great sit down, thank you!
It's such a shame that some people have this negative opinion of him. He is a very driven person but humble, and he has had to endure so much hatred and criticism. He's almost persecuted in F1 - take AD 2021 as the worst misjustice in sport history. Most would have given up but he has driven himself.
@paulsaville8393 While I disagree with you about abu dhabi, I'd like to add; his fans/fanbase made him very hateable and ruined his image in how they view other drivers. Lewis is a legendary figure and undoubtedly the most experienced driver on the current grid, but people only remember from 2022 onwards and forget history. He is a legend.
I think the takeaway from this for me is, don't let the media dictate to you who somone is. Media has presented him as a totally self absorbed person who is only there for the win, who has no care for anyone around him. Jay thank you for presenting the human being. I was only going to comment on his hesitation on saying women can be .... he didn't comment on a female can be a mechanic which potentially made him sound fake. Glad I kept listening and shoved away my bias and dislike of the media presentated person.
What a beautiful human being. Lewis's story brought tears to my eyes because I share those same experiences growing up. What a breath of fresh air to see humilry and grace coming from the world's greatest driver of all time. Thank you for sharing.
In my opinion, Sir Lewis Hamilton is one of the greatest role models for all of humanity that the world has ever seen. He always builds me up and gives me courage and hope. What I would give to speak to him in person for just 5 minutes is unimaginable. 🙏💜
I absolutely agree he is a clear and great role model. And oh yes, there are a few humans in the spotlight for their achievements that I would really love to spend some time with and talk about those things that really matter in this world.. Lewis Hamilton is one of them
I was brought up council estate, gay brother in the 80s, I got loads of stick over this, I was the only person with a dead dad at age 34, gay brother single mum. It’s only now I thank the lord for them times as it’s made me so resilience 🎉. I’ve got through hard times in my life because of my resilience.
He's the absolute goat of f1, this is coming from a fan who has watched senna, schumacher Alonso and everyone else in these era and I can conclude that lewis is the best of them all
Inside the car is hard to see, because different cars, teams and times, but seing the whole package, in and out the track I am agree that Lewis is the goat.
you obviously have no clue when you conveniently forgot to mention Max the best driver of all time. I guess you frustrated a 17 year old shown the whole World that Lewis is the second best and at them moment maybe not even that,.
First off Jay , what an amazing job at everything you do. Lewis you do understand how important you are to all of us which is why you are doing everything you do. I have a 5 year old son that watches racing with me and while it was and is my dream to race I am only showing him things that his dad loves and watching you race is one of them. I connect with you about just wanting that hug from your dad sometimes and that part hit me the hardest. My dads generation made them a certain way and I understand that and because of that my love is being poured into my son. Your struggle with adversity goes so far and just this week today his school started kindness week. I would love to show this to him and hope to meet you one day so that he see’s one of his fathers heroes , but most importantly for him To meet in person a super hero built from love and who champions equality , love for one another and continues to fight for diversity. P.S hoping to introduce him to go karting in the near future
I had these chills all over my body throughout his speaking. I don't know what it is really but something tells me he carries great energy. I've never really heard him speak longer than 10 seconds and this was quite awakening. As a black person, African woman who never really experienced racism like that (coz obviously I'm in Africa) I was touched by how he relayed his experience being a black kid, I don't think I ever take most people seriously especially Americans when they complain about racism, maybe it's his calmness and soothing voice it's like he carries so much peace and humbleness. I wasn't even looking at his face coz I was doing laundry while listening. Anyway, long comment but I had to get it out. I'm gonna come back and rewatch and if by any chance he sees this, I wish him a long healthy successful life full love and happiness. Argh also I'm putting it out into the universe to be able to nurture my daughter's career the same way his father did for him. So much love 🙏💝💝💝
This is truly one of the best interviews I’ve seen in the past years. His calming voice, his clear words - just so good! It is highly inspiring how all the challenges on the way can lead you to becoming such a well-rounded on-purpose person.
The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies.
I have been investing in stocks for over 10 years now and I have made a lot of money. My portfolio has grown exponentially and I can't thank stocks & TERESA JENSEN WHITE enough for such an amazing way to make money!
I took the time to watch in with total focus, because I knew it will be a great talk, full of things to learn. Lewis is such an incredible person, full of love and compassion, and I wish we have so much more people like him. Congrats Jay for all the success you’ve achieved with your purpose and thanks so much for doing it.
It's so beautiful and an inspiration to see how much he has changed and grown. To see that he has found his voice and his purpose as a man and driver is amazing. To Lewis, I wish you may accomplish your goals with your mission and purpose.
Lewis is the most inspiring athlete of all time to me. When I struggle (and I struggle a lot), I think of what he would do and what he would say, and that gives me the kick I need to keep fighting. He is the best driver of all time, but he is also so much more than that. By his own effort, he managed to get all the way to the top, and - despite all the issues of his team at the moment - he will soon be the undisputed king of F1 by winning that eighth title. Because when you know his mindset, you know that he will not stop until he gets what he wants, regardless of the odds. I would wish him the best of luck, but I already know he doesn't need it ;)
Calling him the best driver of all time is like saying that Michael Jordan has never been among the 5 best players of the nba. Hamiton is a crybaby when things aren't going his way. The interviewer needs to get his tounge out of his bottom.
@@_-MiamiVice-_ Wow couldn’t hold back your jealousy, how ridiculous that it had to come out in the comment section of a Podcasts, you must be a closet racist that has black friends but secretly hates black people
@@thomaswilliam630 Oh yes another woke crybaby who will call anyone racist who doesn't like Hamilton. It might work in America or Britain where you cannot have your own opinion anymore, but not here pal. I will not have woke idiotism suppress my views. Anyone who is aware of the history of F1 knows that Hamilton has never been the greatest of all time. Also it was Hamilton supporting the deeply racist BLM not me. So wanna cry about racism, try elsewhere.
That was one of the most remarkable episodes I’ve ever watched. What a wonderful being, his soul is so pure. May his path and purpose be protected by the most high. Thank you to you both 🙏🏾
@@therealquaid1694 I've had to resort to this reply to one of these idiots on here as I do actually have friends that competed against this sham in junior go carting and they don't have good word for him or his conman father as they said he was an arrogant dirty competitor. Oh my reply. My Grandad was in the great war and was taken prisoner by the germans you should read about that war it was horrific your own side shooting you if you didn't go over out the trenches and charge to your imminent death from machine gun fire. He eventually escaped and brought 6 German soldiers back with him that surrendered to him as they couldn't take another life they gave him medals that he refused to accept as he was appalled with so called man kind. So stick your knights of the realm where it won't see anymore light as this guy was driving a car in circles and all this crap really sticks in my craw so stop humbling yourselves to this twaddle aren't you better than that in your own life.
What resonated with me most in this interview is the 'purposeful' preparation Lewis is doing for his eventual transition out of F1and the link you made with Kobe being 'content' when his career ended. I realise that I also need to be intentional in exploring my passions and preparing for purposeful transitions in my own life. What an insightful conversation 🙂
That was one great interview and conversation with Lewis Hamilton! I am a Lewis Hamilton fan and to see him evolve into the person that he has become with his inclusion initiatives is simply humbling!!!! Very introspective, retrospective and transformative.
What an amazing human being he is. Not only the best F1 driver but such a good humanitarian at heart and a rebellious personality against injustice. He deserves all the praise he gets.
Lewis is genuinely remarkable. As a huge F1 fan it is clear how he stands out, utilising his platform to make the world a better place rather than drowning in the fame and wealth. Truly an inspiration to all❤
Listening to Lewis, give hope that they’re beautiful souls working to make a better world, he’s so centered, his honesty is palpable 🙏thank you Jay for this wonderful conversation 🤗
I admire this man so much. He is totally honest and speaks his mind on everything that concerns him. So many people say he always talks about racism and how he was bullied at school - all he says is truth - can just imagine how difficult it must have been for him😢He says that Black Lives Matter - yes they certainly do, BUT THEN I SAY THAT ALL LIVES MATTER. Lewis you've fought so hard to get to the top of F1, (the ONLY PERSON OF COLOUR TO ACHIEVE THIS!!!) you've created F1 history, you fought so much adversity in F1 yet you are the greatest F1 driver of all time - some of your records even breaking Michael Schumacher's records which is a miraculous feit!! You are who you are and I for one am extremely proud of you!!! You're so softly spoken now, gentle when spoken to, but yet you fight like demon when driving in F1and are extremely brainy when making crucial decisions on the race track!!! You most certainly WILL win your 8th Championship title!!! Congratulations Sir Lewis Hamilton 👏
This program is so powerful! I came from a very humble background and my purpose is to build a school here on the island of Antigua where we focus on the emotional intelligence of our students before we teach them ABC and 123. I am so happy to know that somewhere in the world there are others who share my vision. Thank you so much guys!
Man I could relate some much to him and the adversitites he has had to face, since I come from historically pressed background I was able to relate and see so much of myself in him. It's really an inspiration to watch him navigate through hardship and still be a Role Model to so many people like me. He is a true inspiration. One day I wish to be like him where I'm able to inspire and help people find their purpose as well. Still We Rise
Thank you so much Jay Shetty for having Lewis Hamilton on your podcast. I am utterly astounded at the number of successful people who were bullied at school and who are also dyslexic. I was both - well I'm still dyslexic. I don't know what I expected to be honest, but there is so much more to Lewis Hamilton that I ever imagined. Thank you for all that you do Lewis Hamilton, the world needs more people like you. I never expected Lewis Hamilton to be so spiritual too. - great to see. Hope you have a great season in 2023 Lewis. #teamLH.
The reality is these success cases are one in a million, as much as they're inspiring, the truth is it will not happen to the majority, we just have to sail through the storms of life throughout.
I'm more impressed with Lewis past couple years than even before when he was at the top of the charts... seeing how he handles frustration, disappointment, the industry... unbelievable. He is graceful, deliberate, calm, always focused on learning and progress. He manages his motions better than probably anyone I have seen in the sport. What a gem of a person.
This is the first year that I can afford enjoying things in life. I remember the past 8 years, I was so broke I couldn't even afford a meal. I had to realize that at that point that no one was going to walk me through things in life and I had to do this on my own and figure out everything alone. I now live in the nordic woods of Sweden and post about self improvement after surviving a great ordeal in life, from the Boston bombing attack to being homeless, depressed struggling with an anxiety disorder and other mental disorders before I studied my pain and got certified in therapy. I used it to heal and run my own business and also move out of Miami where I worked in a corner store overnight in one of the most dangerous hoods in Miami. I am so grateful I got out, because I knew the other route, and it was not going to end well. Now I have a TH-cam channel that I am using to help others improve in life and I hope I get to help at least one person reading this 🙏🏽💜
I am looking forward to german subtitles because I want to share this deep moving interview with my Dad. 🙏💎 We never watched football - although living in Germany. We always watched Formula1 when I was growing up. This peace that is in this interview, the spirit and flow is so grounding and giving hope for change and a better future - step by step. Day by day. Thank both of you so much for having this conversation and being so vulnerable and showing how beautiful being human can be. 🦋
Could really relate to so much of what these two and especially Lewis discussed in this pod cast. As a professional I have attended a lot of face to face meetings and conferences as part of my job and then covid happened and all meetings went on line. that's when I started to notice that I was the only only person of colour in those meetings. In terms of diversity generally and in F1 there has been significant changes in the last 3 years and for me Lewis has been an integral part of those changes. Because of Lewis I started attending F1 races and have been to quite a few all over the world. Not sure I will continue to support F1 once Lewis retires maily because in my opinion there seems to be manipulation by the FIA and the F1 media to promote a certain driver namely MV as better than Lewis despite how little he has achieved at the same age as Lewis and how much Lewis has achieved despite all the obstacles he has faced throughout his F1 career. I thank you for this podcast, really enjoyed it
this is exactly what i dont understand about F1 and the FIA. They have one of the biggests Sportspersons in the world on their hand and for some reason they try to take him down.....
It's called securing the future, out with the old in with the new.. Obv MV is the next "star". Too bad. Thanks Jay and many thanks to LH for pushing themselves in order to leave this tiny blue planet a better place. Hat down to you Sirs
I don’t know a lot of things and people probably because of my background and lack of interest in things like sports among other stuff, so I don’t even know him or aware of all his titles. I fell in love with how calmly he spoke and how kind he seems to be despite all the pressure and challenges he went through as a child. I may not know him before now but he inspired me in so many ways today and gave me hope with lots of the things he said. You are doing an amazing job by bringing amazing people to share their experiences and even teach as well. I pray you continue to have an amazing life. I am developing the habit of listening to at least one podcast in the mornings to help me with the huge life changes I am going through at the moment which has been making me swing in and out of depression. Listening to you and your guests sharing their experiences has been making my day meaningful for few weeks now. Thanks and God bless you 🙏🏻
Suddently I admire him so much and I can relate to certain things he said but also to his personality and values. He is such a good person, we can tell.
im so happy to start my day with this conversation. thank you so much jay for having this platform and being you. stay golden and amazing. as for lewis and many others you bring on here - im glad to see them in such genuine lights beyond the fame. this is my first time knowing who lewis is and i cheer him on in absolutely everything he's involved in. pure hearts and great vision is contagious - keep being amazing light workers. and to anyone who resonates reading this, the light will prevail🤍🌸
wow, this is such an impactful episode. Lewis Hamilton blew my mind with how wise and grounded he is, my attention did not even skip for a second. Thank you @Jay Shetty Podcast. I felt that he perhaps been this mystical all his life, just that his mysticism has now spread beyond the racing track. I will keep my eyes peeled on his works.
Kuliegirl. Dear Jay: OMG!! I am so stoked!! I have been waiting for this podcast before I knew you would ever have Lewis Hamilton, the GOAT and 7x World Champion. We love love Lewis and am so appreciative of your inspiration. When Lewis spoke about how he struggles to be his best version everyday. I can totally relate. He has fought though so much adversity and yet “Still He Rise”. He is one of our most inspirational persons I have had the pleasure to know from afar. We are diehard F1 Fans and cannot get enough of live interviews with Lewis. We are so aligned with his mission. Do you ever consider having just a not famous person on your show? If so, I would love to be that person. Keep shining your light and I look forward to all your motivational podcasts. PS. Loved loved “Think Like A Monk”. Much continued blessings always 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
00:01 Viktor E Frankl - Man’s search for Meaning. Find a purpose, never give up hope. “If you have a WHY to exist, you can overcome any HOW the world throws at you”.
1:07:22 that impressed me so much. This needs to be talked about a lot. People these days cant control their emotions and cant perceive others emotions. To stay calm and reasonable is something that most people never achieve in their life. This is for sure something people should be taught early on in their lives and keep the analytical calm approach to every situation.
From my life experience (just retired), I learned that if you don't act, think, look like other people or even get dressed like the majority you get problems and criticisms. So the only way is to keep your head up and faith in yourself and go on. Congratulations for the podcast and to Lewis 💜💛 to be such an inspiration. Keep your positive mindset and good luck for your future. ☮
Que podcast incrível, a energia de Lewis é tão leve, e fiquei emocionada quando ele disse "Estou lutando por algo muito maior do que vencer uma corrida."
This is the second time I'm listening to this interview while working, and today, what really stood out to me was the part around 1:00, where you mention that Lewis and Kobi have the same kind of aura. You described them as "a piece," as if they are whole within themselves, it reminded me of a conversation I had recently with an older man that I randomly meet while waiting for the ferry, we spent almost an hour talking and one of the things he said was that we are fragments within ourselves, which I didn’t fully understand at the time but after hearing your interview again, it clicked! Thank you, guys, for helping me make the connection.
yes, such an inspiring story, I can relate to it as a Moroccan kid growing up in north Italy with a lot of discrimination, and was such a difficult time to grow in that investment, that experience brought me to be an angry kid to protect my self, It is sad that kids have to go thru this struggle and we know that will affect us for the rest of our life until we step to do inner-work to heal our self, I really hope for the next generations that can be avoided and everyone can see one skin color, that we are all from the same father.
I waited for this video for a long time now. Thanks Jay for bringing him on your show. Lewis has been such an inspiration of mine and to hear his story, is so incredible!
What a powerful light! The focus he has into his life, the journey he went through since childhood! The respect, self control, self discipline, love, spiritual support, etc, etc.. No wonder he is a strong man that he is now..All his painful journey helped him to be an inspiration for millions now.. I don't follow sports figures, I don't at all! I might know few people, but I don't get into the sports..I feel uneasy how some people make millions of $$$ versus others doing the same equal effort making nothing! But I like to listen their spiritual evolution through sports practices! I will prefer to read their biography versus watch them play sports.. Anyway I was not aware of his existence, but I am fascinated about his spiritual transformation and the powerful light he is through his self discipline sport activity.. As a volleyball player myself in the past,I know how you can use sports as an outlet,to cope with painful struggles behind doors, dealing with an alcoholic family, child molesting, bullied ( schools system )racism, and rape..! Thank you for your focus & enlightenment.. I am extremely grateful to know your real essence! 🙏🌸💚💠🌺

My Grandad was in the great war and would tell me horrendous tails of that you should read about it absolute insanity. Your own side would shoot you if you didn't go over out of the trenches and charge to your imminent death from machine gun fire or bleeding to death hanging cut to shreads on the coils of barbed wire or target practice for the snippers even from your own side. He went missing in action and presumed dead and my gran received the heart breaking telegram and broke down with grief after many weeks he apeared with 6 German soldiers that had surrendered to him as he told me they couldn't take another life and would be shot for treason if they went back, they gave him medals that he refused to accept as he was appalled with so called man kind and never really got over what he had seen and had to do. So stick your knights of the realm nonsense where it won't see anymore light as this guy was driving a car in circles and all this crap really that's being peddled here sticks in my craw so stop humbling yourselves to this twaddle aren't you better than that in your own life.

@@marlonbrown5763 Well F1 isnt like other racing sports, if you want the fastest driver to win, go watch f2, or f3, thats the beauty of f1, its a show that combines money influence and talent, talent in engineers, race directors, coaches and drivers, influence in fanbases, yes you might be the most talented driver, but if you dont have the money/influence/talent, all of the above, or a combination of two, your chances are severly hurt.

Lewis is the most inspiring athlete of all time to me. When I struggle (and I struggle a lot), I think of what he would do and what he would say, and that gives me the kick I need to keep fighting. Anyone who is aware of the history of F1 knows that Hamilton has never been the greatest of all time. Also it was Hamilton supporting the deeply racist BLM not me. So wanna cry about racism, try elsewhere.
Oh Please educate us@@_-MiamiVice-_ who is the greatest F1 racing driving?
That was one of the most remarkable episodes I’ve ever watched. What a wonderful being, his soul is so pure. May his path and purpose be protected by the most high. Thank you to you both 🙏🏾
A soul so pure it makes friends with other wonderful people such as Brad Pitt. A man who abuses his kids and wife.
I am the most high

I've had to resort to this reply to one of these idiots on here as I do actually have friends that competed against this sham in junior go carting and they don't have good word for him or his conman father as they said he was an arrogant dirty competitor.
Truly an inspiration to all❤
😂
Listening to Lewis, give hope that they’re beautiful souls working to make a better world, he’s so centered, his honesty is palpable 🙏thank you Jay for this wonderful conversation 🤗
what a legend, truly one of a kind!
Where are those bullies now? You are a inspiration to us all. #stillwerise
This program is so powerful! I came from a very humble background and my purpose is to build a school here on the island of Antigua where we focus on the emotional intelligence of our students before we teach them ABC and 123. I am so happy to know that somewhere in the world there are others who share my vision. Thank you so much guys!
My mother is Antiguan good luck with your venture and vision. Hopefully when I visit it will be up and running and I can input.
We never watched football - although living in Germany.
Grateful to start my purposeful year in 2023 with this podcast & this conversation!
wow, this is such an impactful episode.

Well done Lewis on your first podcast, you nailed it. Listened to it all the way from unny South Africa. Wishing you a blessed 2023 Jay and Lewis.
Que podcast incrível, a energia de Lewis é tão leve, e fiquei emocionada quando ele disse "Estou lutando por algo muito maior do que vencer uma corrida."

Tem uma energia especialmente leve quando tenta assassinar colegas em pista.
This was profound on so many levels - from a pair of thoroughly intelligent, emotionally centred, thoughtful men. Thank you.
I could listen to Lewis talk all day, this man is so inspiring, I love the stories he has to share- proud to support his drive 💜teamlh
There is greatness in everyone.
We can get lost in our journey, but stay the path… never lose sight of the goal.
i have so much love and respect for him. i wish him happiness and peace always.
I love his voice. I wish him to meet someone as wonderful as him. He deserves a wonderful family of his own.
yes, such an inspiring story, I can relate to it as a Moroccan kid growing up in north Italy with a lot of discrimination, and was such a difficult time to grow in that investment, that experience brought me to be an angry kid to protect my self, It is sad that kids have to go thru this struggle and we know that will affect us for the rest of our life until we step to do inner-work to heal our self, I really hope for the next generations that can be avoided and everyone can see one skin color, that we are all from the same father.
I have always enjoyed listening to this young man. So much wisdom. Have fun Sir Lewis...I hope you find someone to share your life with. Your empathy gives you strength.
I' m a teacher and I talk a lot with my students about emotions. I'll use this podcast at class. Thank you for inspiration ❤🙏 Great role models for teens!!!
Before that interview I only respected this man because he is one of the best in his sport ever. From now I truly love and be inspired by him! Being a good person by your heart and use your talant and success to help more and more people is what we are born to ❤Thank you guys

Surely he'd have shown real conviction in what he preaches and gained much more credibility and been a better person by not accepting that knighthood by doing so he joining the rat race of hypocrites he's always speaking out against.
I had goosebumps the whole time. Lewis is such an amazing person!
