There really isnt a #1 anymore its very ambiguous considering that zemdegs inspired a whole generation of cubers who worked hard to become as good as he is means feliks is the goat no one has had a better cubing career than him

Feliks is like Arnold Schwarzenegger, he came into the cubing community. Became the best and inspired people to do better and stay humble. Even though he's not the best anymore he's probably the most influential and greatest cuber of all time.
His legacy can never be dethroned
Top 5 still, after so many years. I would say Leo and Timon are the only ones really doing better when it comes to raw solves.
Max gets good solves but averages not really recently.
@@stufah6290 They're really good but I think the only reason they're quite faster is because kids nowadays could just buy a really great cube and use it as their main, but before in like matts and feliks time they always had to adapt to new and faster cubes. Tymon and Leo are really fast because they can turn faster(I'm not disregarding their overall ability, they're still world class that's for sure)

You have to be happy when a 13 year old puts down solves like these, with a median and mean of 5.7x, and no bad solves. Leo got more 5s than 6s, two 4s and only one 7. He got a 5.39 Ao5 which is better than the official world record. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone has performed this well in a 3x3 competition before.

What a wonderful match. Leo is such a great cuber, always laughing and in a good mood. Feliks just being Feliks, humble, happy for Leo and great at speaking. To me, even though I'm older than him, he is the grandfather of cubing. He single-handedly made the cubing community as it is today: no rivalry, just a bunch of people cubing with one another, trying to set world records as a group of people, not individuals.

Dear Lazermonkey, you'll probably never read this, but you should be really proud of all this. If someone told me back in 2012 that some guy would host almost all of the top cubers in an online competition - AND make it super entertaining like you have - I wouldn't have believed them.
Just watching guys/girls like Feliks, Tymon and Leo is a sight to behold. So thanks, and congratulations on all your hard work bringing everyone together.

Downfall of legends, rise of new stars. That’s just the cycle for all sports. It’s heartbreaking to see the result, but I still really really appreciate how Feliks is so open about his bad solves. I’d say this is a really good match and the fact that Feliks is still competing with these amazing cubers, makes me appreciate him even more.
Very similar to Jonas Neubauer VS Joseoh Saelee.
He inspired many cubes. He is just a legend. I still idolise him so much

I love how Feliks smiles when Leo got the good solves. This is why he's my favourite cuber and #1 of all time. True sportsmanship. (Same for Mats Valk when Feliks broke his WR by 0.01 seconds sitting right next to him)
This is the most wholesome thing ever, Feliks is so kind.He came into the cubing community, became the best and inspired many other people to start and when Someone beats him he is always so proud of the guy that won. That is true sportsmanship

Leo beat the official WR average, in his 3rd set of 5 solves, his Ao5 was 5.39.
Ao12 was 5.62. Median was 5.71, and mean (of all 18 solves) was 5.77.
He scored two fours in this match: 4.90, 4.74
and two fours in the final against Tymon: 4.03, 4.44
The 4.03 is faster than Feliks #2 official 3x3 single of 4.16.

i was not aware about speed cube since 2010, i was interested when i was a kid, Feliks had like 6 seconds WR, my pb was like 25 seconds, but i lost ineterest, now i accidentally found out about speed cube again and it's mindblowing this kid consistency, so many sub 6

The kid didn't just "do good", he put down the best 3x3 cubing competition performance anyone has ever seen. He beat Feliks the world record holder by 1 second on average (in this match). He beat the official world record average during this competition. "The times he's putting down are actually unprecedented". Correct me if I'm wrong.

I like in this sport that they not trying to cheat. A unsolved cube is fallen of camera and he say oooh plus 2. Instead picking up the cube and fix it with his pinky or something. Very nice
