If you solve first and let the opponent watch, it gives them the opportunity to look at the scramble and take advantage of it if they can see each other
8:43 I'm glad and surprised that Luke isn't color neutral because I am trying to become neutral after doing only white/yellow for 4 years and I currently average 12.75 seconds, so it's comforting to know that I should not be held back from ever getting sub-10 or whatever goal.

@@kaberigomes2117 yeah I am I haven't bought a new cube in 5 years 😭😭 last speed cube I had was zhanchi lol , the current cube which I last bought is a local one , I started cubing properly again after many years I would just randomly solve in the time in between

For the G-Perm, I do a J and cancel into a U... only because G-perm doesn't click in my head. Is there a better strat for it other than just learning the alg?
I would prefer just finding a good G-Perm alg that suits your feel then learning it. Just practice, practice, practice, repeat until you get the alg. That’s my advice. 🤷🏿♀️
@@priscillaalendy990 Thank you! I literally learned 7 algs faster than any of my attempts at the G when I planned on learning the G and got distracted lol

Imagine being in Luke's position, going up against a world record holder, who knows all the finger tricks, and algorithms. Felix must be so intimidating to him and you can tell he's pretty nervous which is why he sometimes locks up. poor guy.
