- This spring I realized new things about myself and my life, and of course, I received much of my inspiration from nature. I want to share with you some of what I learned in hopes that it brings you calm and inspiration.

The Lessons of Spring
"I’ve been trying to reconnect
detach from the illusion and come back to my roots
to our roots
Even though this land is not my ancestral home,
and I feel lonely -
I’ve learned to love and care for it just the same
I hope you can learn too
We can all learn
Pay attention - !
It’s happening all around us,
all around us…
The seasons pull us in the directions we’re meant to go
ebbing and flowing,
quickening and slowing
But what does the spring say?
Pay attention.
The energy has risen from the ground,
replenishing, renewing, reviving
bursts of life race to follow the sun,
vibrant,
hypnotizing,
ready to impart secrets.
This is what I’ve learned -
Slow down, quicken
remove yourself from the body and
enter awareness -
but don’t forget to come back.
Do not rush too much,
just enough.
Lie in wait,
reconnect and gather -
Lay down necessary first steps
unseen, unrecognized,
sleeping -
Burst forth with intention and purpose
to follow the sun but
Do not rush
Do not waste
Lie in wait,
True form will come."
