Feral did get mentioned, they said it was weaker than boomkin and doesn't bring much more to the table. Don't know how ferals are doing in the beta, but on live they're pretty ok damage-wise (or at least mine is).
Heres how its going to go: you play a strong class at the start of BFA a few weeks later blizzard decides to "rework them" youre now at the bottom of the dps charts, no more raid invites for you and thats how its been for the past few expansions. those idiots in charge of class balancing always over nerf and over buff, they never actually play the classes theyre changing either.
Who are the idiots here? The ones making the changes or the ones falling for it "the past few expansions" ? If you play a class just because it seems strong at the start then you are asking for it. If a class is strong there is 98% chance it's gonna get nerfed (like spriests or prot warrs after first legion tier). You can't have perfectly balanced game with multiple classes and roles. It's literally impossible. Only way to achieve perfect balance is if every class was exactly the same. In. Every. Way. And that wouldn't be fun game at all. Why would you even have classes in the first place? There always was and always will be "top, op class". Buffs and nerf are here to mix it up. And besides why are you even mad? There are two options. You are either high level player in which case you should have multiple classes at max level and be able to play them well or you are "whatever I'll play my favourite class I don't care when I kill it" player. There's no reason in both cases to be concerned about class balance for obvious reasons. I bet there's a lot of survival hunter mains with all cutting edge achievements from Legion. A class that majority of players considered to be the utmost garbage.

It's not even only magic users that benefit from chaos brand, frost dk's, paladins, unholy dk's and so on all benefit from increased magic damage (due to frost damage, shadow damage, holy damage and so on all being a part of the magic schools)

Ele sham will get buffed in next patch, they announced that. Personally I want to main ele sham also in pve but it's lame with that low haste, to cast every spell dmg in 1.7 - 1.8 sec at 330 ilvl it's not competitive at all. With that low cast time, they should increase more dmg on abilities as lava burst, lightning bolt and chain lightning.
Good List, 3 of 5 specs are somewhat future proof in the fact that they bring key utility features. Boomkin and Rogues though are suspect to rise and fall, blizz could nerf dot damage severely and put more emphasis on casted spells, also they could nerf rogue multitargeting if its overperforming compared to dedicated aoe classes. Still gunna main Ele since 8.1 will make us FOTM.......... Kappa
They will definitely retune dmg to all specs right before or during the first week of the first raid releases. Everything will be reshuffled for the top dps charts.
Still no additions to fury warriors, which would be fine if cc chains weren’t a thing, especially because fury warriors don’t have a stun they can use (I’m excluding stormbolt because it takes away some mobility from the fury warriors if you select that ability over others)

mage, rogue, and warlock all have 3 dps classes to choose. It's a given that at a least one of them should be toping charts every expansion. Its simply an RNG and numbers game. Hunter would be here also but the class has gone through so many changes its a given that it may have problems.

They stated that 3 seconds was the max stun in BFA. I would just like to point out that kidney shot from a rogue with 5 combo points is a 6 second stun.
Feral druid is designed to be shit at anything that isnt a single target raidboss. And they balance everyone to be equal on single target so feral is shit regardless.

DH seem like they have all the stuff monks have and a little more. Fire mages can talent to have 3 aoe interupts, thats somewhat neat (Dragons Breath, Ring of Frost, Blast Wave).

Monk and Warrior are always my forte. No matter how they are nerfed or too OP'ed, they have occupied a spot in my chilly non-existent undead heart.

Going with frost mage as my main for BFA, it is awesome in PvP aswell.
So many people talking about numbers of these specs. In reality, with tuning, damage charts can be flipped, whereas utility is always relevant.
