Thanks for all the good advice about Posca pens. I now want to try them. Do the colors smear if you applyresin on the rocks or paintings on canvas to seal them. I preresined some rocks to make a smoother surface before painting them. After finishing the painting, will the Posca outlines I did on the painting run when applying resin on top of the finished rock. Thank you
Ok so I have not actually worked with resin. I have tried to paint with Posca over a sealed rock and I think matte sealers it is ok but on glossy it doesn't always work well. I would do a tester rock before using them on a masterpiece. I usually just paint on a base coat or right onto the rock.
How often do you need to “burp” the pen? Mine keep blurting out and I have a blob of paint which has ruined many of my projects. I hesitate to write on them for fear that this will happen. I only have Inkstar brand and Craftsman from Michaels. I have not had much luck with paint pens! I am going to invest in posca hopefully they’ll be better. Thank you!
I only do it when I first buy them. Or after I have traveled with them. If they experience a bit change in pressure they can build up again like on an airplane. It could be the brand...
I have a set of posca pens that are in the smallest size you have in the thumbnail, what size is the largest in that same picture? I’m looking to get bigger ones(:
Which would be the top two posca pen tip sizes you’d recommend? Going to buy two sets to draw some story stones for kindergarten, but unsure which sizes to buy!
Hi, I find it very difficult watching you as the way you have the camera set up, I can't actually see what you're doing as your hand is always in the way. Perhaps this is something you could looking into?
I'm always afraid of blending the pens, but I'm going to try it now :) thanks for this video
Have fun!!!

How do u seal after paint pens? No running?
I have quite a few tips on that - rockpainting101.com/how-to-seal-painted-rocks/
What is the best way to store paint pens - horizontally or vertically with the tip up? Thanks.
I keep mine horizontally.
@@RockPainting101 Thank you. That's what I'll do then.

Those are the 5M. That is the biggest size I have :)
@@RockPainting101 Thank you so much!!
What size posca pens are good for writing words on rocks calligraphy style?
I would suggest the 1M (extra fine tip)

As long as you are painting smaller rocks. Extra fine tip and fine tip would be best!
Bye and thank you

It is a constant struggle. I'm always trying to improve. Thank you for your suggestion.
