I'm surprised and delighted that they're pushing so hard on the 1960s spy vibe with Fury. I was expecting him to be all black leather and grim techno thriller.
Since EM Shield can sit in play, it works pretty well with the "stay in stealth, pop out for one big turn" game plan. Play it on a turn where you have a good amount of resources, and it is a "free" defense you can hold for when you you want to go Assault. That also lets you choose mode one on Concentrated Fire a little bit more often w/o exposing yourself to damage. For solo, the Car gives a little extra incentive for Stealth builds to use One Way or Another and/or Player Side Schemes to make sure you are getting full use from your readies. Nick is going to love Going Undercover. This wave definitely seems to be pushing Repurpose to a new level, hopefully it gets a reprint.

I will definitely tear down precons as I always do but I think I will keep them with aspects and also with general idea how do you build them It might be one of better pairs in terms of big boxes, she is setup heavy while he has some really good thwart, basically you slap Heroic Intuition and with the car that's consistent 6 threat a turn before you actually play anything, In solo usually it's thwarting that is bottleneck in terms of aspect you can play, Nick surely has no issues here
The solo risk for Nick Fury is that, in Stealth form, the enemy will scheme at least once every turn you remain hidden. And that's dangerous - but does vary with scenario. His thwarting looks solid though! And I definitely like this pairing. Justice and Leadership is particularly dependable as far as aspect combos go.
arguably, EM shield is better than chump block. it is true that a 2 cost ally usually comes with 1 damage, 1 thwart o some kind of effect, but they all are vulnerable to overkill, can't help you if the villain attacks you directly, plus each ally counts to your ally limit. EMs does not. So, imho, while being a bit less multitasking than your average ally, it is quite efficient at the very specific task of preventing damage.
@VillainTheory Under extreme duress I will comply! They were great reveals. I saw that car and my first thought was "did we just get the highest damage dive bomb?" It's been a while since I looked at the rules, am I correct that it works with aggressive energy, but not with Warrior Skill? I remember there were some rulings with that where it didn't work exactly as I thought it would initially. I know it's probably not worth it with the amount of setup needed, generally I only run dive bomb with characters that are inherently aerial, but I'm still excited to try it out lol. EM is pretty good too as a nice fail safe. Still want to see a card that makes a stealth suit play viable in solo. With the Shuri pack now revealed I'm wondering if maybe it will be an aspect card. Luckily I get to play a lot of three player, so either way I can make it work. And I can finally use my foiled card.
Warrior Skill works with it! It's cards which make multiple individual attacks where it's lacking like Dance of Death. I think Under Surveillance and Counterintelligence already made Stealth viable solo but certainly it will be great to help out the other aspects with something 🤞
I adore illustrations on Fury's cards (most of them, both sides of the suit are meh). They're so funky and absolutely not what I would have expected from him. Watched the stream live, but it was pretty late at my longitude, so didn't leave a comment back then.

Who's in the streamer syndicate? I know I made a video about the leaks. The first thing I said was not to send any hate to whoever shared the images and that I didn't think they did anything wrong. My video was about the leak culture in Champions and, now that FFG was trying to do more with the community, maybe it was time to reconsider the mass sharing of leaks all over as a community. D20 responded to the video, and I don't think he blamed anyone either. I don't remember everything, but I think he had some different opinions but none of them were hating on the person who shared images. If someone else has done that, that's a shame.
