So the sound of I3 at 8000rpm should be pretty similar to a i6 at 4000rpm.

The comparison at different RPMs doesn’t work either, at high rpms it will sound very different from an engine at low rpms no matter how many cylinders.

I have the new 8Y RS3 and love it, but it's heartbreaking to see the old leather wrapped flat bottomed wheel. It added so much to the interior. Mine just has a regular old round wheel, which seems sacrilegious for an RS. Not sure what Audi was thinking.

I’ll chime in as an Aussie viewer we have the HSV with same motor and one with similar power almost always gets pumped by an rs3 (the v8 will win on a roll though)
Hey mate, I can see your redline is past 7000rpm, did you get any faults as a result? I've got a stage 1 tune with the red line raised past 6400/6500 (whatever the oem spec is) to 7000rpm on mine and it shows the fault "Max 7000rpm" or something alike. Usually with a car like this it's either run (police cannot keep up and won't usually chase at these speeds) and risk getting caught by another cop down the road, or pull over and just accept that you won't have a license anymore. I'm an S4 owner and I've done dumb stuff like this before. But I also have a uniden R7 and waze running all the time which gives me some peace of mind. Police usually run radar and my uniden picks up on it almost a mile away. The only thing you gotta worry about is laser, but cops can't use laser while moving so they don't run it as much unless they are troopers sitting on a highway.

solid daily car they are just too expensive for what you get when a similar bmw is like 10-20k cheaper for the same perf. Usaed especially audis dont depreciate nearly as much. Plus theres no xdelete equivalent so you cant switch to rwd like you can with bmw awd.

Yes with some bolt ons and a tune that M240i will be very quick. Maybe even quicker than a stock RS3. But like you said with depreciation, everything is expensive right now
@@captainminecraftist full bolt on 240 with pure stage 2 upgraded turbos still won't touch a stage 2 rs3. I was hitting 11.2 with those mods on a 2019 240. Maybe with a stage 3 setup and water meth injection. I hit regular 10.9s on my 93 octane stage 2 rs3. Mid to low tens on E85 with the right DA

Hey Brother once u go stage 2 it will bring the limiter up to 7200 when i was stage 1 plus it was only set to 6800 so the tune raised it
