    Thanks for the video. There are many local only places that are also tourist places. I loved balboa park and used to live within walking or biking distance, I also went to the Old globe theater, some museums and the Zoo. I also went to Sea World a few times. Once a Padres Game in the old stadium in Mission valley. I don't remember going to Little Italy and I don't know why. I did enjoy Mission beach, Pacific and Ocean Beach once. I discovered Torrey Pines and Black's beach and loved it, except the hike up and down the cliff. Old town was fun as it was historic, I loved the frozen Margaritas and Mexican food. I also was 28-32 and went out to some bars and dance clubs. I sure miss some of those days.

      It's fun to spend time feeling like a tourist as a local! Sounds like you enjoyed it too.

    LOVING this type of content! Keep up the great videos about San Diego Dan :)

    Whew! You hammered it. Throughout San Diego County, each city, district, and even the great divide between the area surrounding Petco Park and the Gaslamp Quarter play different vibes! More! Julian, Del Dios, Animal Park, and the Battle of San Pasqual.

    Sundays I'd begin at the Big Kitchen, where Whoopie Goldberg was a dish washer, then off to the Spreckles Organ Pavilion for the concert then to City Deli for liver and onions

      I guess I have to check out the Big Kitchen!

    Hey Dan one more question. The inflation report today on PCE was really bad and it seems that inflation isn’t going to go away and is going to remain sticky. Bad inflation news has generally correlated with higher mortgage rates because the 10 year bond rate is highly dependent on inflation. With the bad news of inflation do you see home mortgage rates continuing to increase this year into the 7-9 % range ?

    • @DanPBestLifeSD
      @DanPBestLifeSD  ปีที่แล้ว

      Based on the report that came out today, it will certainly have a negative effect on mortgage interest rates in the short-term. Getting back into the 7% range is realistic, but I’m still hopeful we will see mortgage rates drop by the end of the year.

      @@DanPBestLifeSD would you agree that if inflation doesn’t get better then we can expect mortgage rates to go up ?

    • @DanPBestLifeSD
      @DanPBestLifeSD  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely. And you can expect buyer demand to go down. But what we will also see is fewer homes for sale because sellers are also afraid to sell and then buy a home with a 7%+ rate. How exactly it will all pan out is hard to say, but it might get messy in the short term

    is the property cheaper in point loma then other areas by the water and if so why would that be it looks beautiful

    • @DanPBestLifeSD
      @DanPBestLifeSD  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say in general it's cheaper than some of the other coastal communities like La Jolla, Del Mar, and Encinitas. But it really depends where in Point Loma you are looking.

      OH NO!! Haha, you will be just fine! There are fun spots downtown San Diego, but if I were in your shoes I'd find myself going down to Little Italy more than any other places.

    How much has your income decreased this year compared to last considering home sales are down like 40% ?

    • @DanPBestLifeSD

      Honestly I'm busier than I've ever been. We just added 2 new team members, and we are thankful to have the opportunity to help so many awesome people! Also, inventory might still be low but there has been a HUGE spike of buyer activity in the last 45 days.

    Lol what?? This whole video boils down to “go see everything everywhere… except the entirety of downtown”. Which is a wild statement to make. Downtown is much much larger than gaslamp and writing it off as a whole just makes it seem like you either have an agenda or know nothing about it / never visit.

      What do you consider the highlights of downtown for a tourist?
