I don't care what color that is, that is something we need more of in the world.

You know a lot more than a lot of us black folk. Most still think they're oppressed when it's quite the opposite. You get told that cope hate black people when they're just doing their jobs and catching criminals, it's not their fault that we commit 50% of the crime despite being 13% of the population. People need to realize that being a minority doesn't make you invincible nor does it give you the right to ignore issues involving minorities.

As a gay man in the lgbtq+ community. I agree with all your points. I grew up and had female tendencies. My aunts for example would tell me not to cross my legs like a lady, because it was not masculine. To this day i still cross my legs like a lady. It’s comfortable, i like it. I admired woman and their beauty and would dress in my mom’s heels and wigs. Why? Because it was fun, and i felt fierce like my mother. But i also still had my masculine parts. I loved building things, things that normal boys love to do like get dirty and play sports, play with cars. I also loved to play with dolls and loved my little pony as a kid. Did that mean i wanted to be a woman? No. I knew I liked boys, but I also knew that i was a boy and i grew and matured, and still know that i would not think otherwise. I still like girly and manly things. Nothing wrong with having fun and expressing yourself. However, shoving information like that to a kid, is exhausting, kids are malleable, kids can be groomed. I am so glad someone as intelligent as you can understand and inform others on why things such as pronouns is bs. “They/them” advocates are practically creating a new gender social construct themselves! No pun intended. It’s hypocrisy.

Great comment. I was watching some trash tv, reality show. It was a fashion design competition, very typical, 3 judges, about 20 contestants. Everyone is given a theme and must design an outfit, fit it to a model, then the judges rate them and some people get voted off. Yada yada, typical reality show stuff.
Anyway, as you can imagine most participants were either women or gay men. They do the reality show cutaways where each person is taken into the side room for private interview. One of the guys tells the story about how he got into fashion:
"I always loved my older sister so much, I preferred playing in her room most when I was young. We would play dress up, do fashion shows, try on makeup, play Barbies with her dollhouse. My dad thought it was a little weird, but he was always very supportive. Both my parents were very supportive when I told them I wanted to do fashion as a career."
Now, can you imagine if he was born today? He'd be put on puberty blockers immediately! People would tell you your abusing your child if you didn't!
It's so crazy how these people don't see their own contradictions, on one hand it's like they're trying to erase any mentions of gender completely, and yet appear to still believe ONLY boys play with firetrucks and ONLY girls play with dolls. I thought pointing out things like 'toxic masculinity' was about making a point that it's okay if a man has some qualities that might be considered a bit feminine, it doesn't make him any less of a man. Not to erase masculinity completely.

Of course, the things that they criticize aren’t original at all, but they’re a breath of fresh air compared to the overly macho guys like Shapiro, Walsh, &c… who do little to help the image of conservatives. Can’t you criticize things without constantly resorting to religion *coughs* sky daddy ideology *coughs* and Being mean ? Just listen to Amala and look at how patient she is. That's pretty much what I believe as well. I remember several yrs ago getting into a battle I guess you could say with someone I went to school with. In school, we were friendly but not the friends/best friends type. Any who, I had sent her a friend request on FB when she was recommended. She posted some article to which I disagreed with & made my points be known. Her response? Attacking me herself along with getting both her mother & her husband going after me as well. I left the thread with a parting message of if we can't communicate civilly, there's no point in continuing this banter. The response? The 3 of them continued with their attacks. I did not unfriend her but to this day, I do not communicate with her. I so believe that the second you start attacking someone who disagrees or tells you to just STFU, you've automatically lost any sort of argument for your side. If you can't give me a civilly decent comeback, it's a "I lost the argument" end result for me.

there is nothing wrong with being Liberal. Look at the definition. This is a frustrating dividing line. I am Liberal, I am proud to be Liberal.. but it is merely the extremists on the FAR Left that have twisted that. I mean, Moderate Conservatives.. do you feel you identify with the extreme KKK or Fundamentalist Christians who want this to be a "CHristian Nationalist" state??? I am tired of hearing folks say "Libtard, or Liberals are stupid". I can appreciate Moderate Conservative positions and have rational conversations with them.. I was accused of being racist because of how I described my eldest children. I said (as they described THEMSELVES as) "part Maori". A white family member was the one who went off at me for being "racist". She sent me links of Maori women saying that they are Maori, even if they are biracial. I asked my family member why I had to ignore all the other bloodlines my children have purely because they have Maori bloodlines. There was no answer for that, just more links as to why I had to ignore every other bloodline. She also said I was racist because I couldn’t speak the language fluently. She then proceeded to "speak" the language and didn't like it when I said she was good at Google searches. She then said that she believes she's Maori even though there is no suggestion that there is anyone in her family tree that has Maori bloodlines! MY bloodlines are not purely "white", and to suggest I'm racist is to say that I am against my own children and myself! And I believe that my late husband had Aboriginal bloodlines so I must have been anti him and our children! I'm not racist... but I've heard that if you say you're not racist, then you're racist. Go figure.

They're most likely not very comfortable in their own skins and are constantly looking to misplace blame on others for self gratification. Unfortunately, that seems to be a growing trend in today's society. So, just know and accept yourself for who you are and who you want to be and keep your positive attitude going - especially for and with your children. 🎉

That "if you say you're not racist, then you're a racist" thing is somewhat true. Usually people who claim that are doing so to cover up their overt racism.
Everybody is racist. It's not really a negative thing unless you act on it. We all have thoughts or beliefs that pop up from time to time rather we want to admit it or not. Racism/Sexism/blah blah can be as simple as a prejudice which we all have. You've adopted the same belief that she carries, that if you're racist, you must be against that group. That's a very simplified view and very rarely ever the case.
Next time, just point out she's being racist. The belief that maori blood should be of the most importance is racist in and of itself, as is the minimizing of their other ancestry. Believing that you must be able to speak the language is also racist as there's plenty of Maori people who grow up elsewhere and can't speak the language at all.
Just be proud that, like most of us "racists", you choose not to act on it and make an ass out of yourself...unlike her.

But now I'm not sure. And if according to your relative your kids are just Maori then don't they also think you're whatever not white you're mixed with too? And your last comment about being anti Aboriginal and against your husband and kids was also unclear. Were you implying that was based on the premise that it's racist to deny any ancestry unless it's the white one? There's plenty of confusion is your comment tbh even though you have some valid points. And where does she base that she's Maori if there's no suggestion? Surely she probably has some argument even if it's not a valid one.

@@annieefissh I'm from Slovakia (heart of Europe) and you can see these American issues slowly and silently leaking into our values, especially at universities (all students and teachers are veeery liberal) and in media. All news are also liberal, because our people directly translate American news (without doing the background check if they aren't radical and misleading) and put it on our local TV. But other than this propaganda, people of 45 years+ still have common sense. My country's status quo is conservativeness though. xD General rule is the further left you go, the further LEFT you go. :) Central Europe (including mentioned Germany) and countries on the south are definitely not obsessed with politics at all. We usually honour traditions and traditional family values. And we are all truly proud of our roots and our country in general.

Also there is a debate here about gendering the german language ,and German language is not ment for that ,also german is already hard enough, and over 70% of population dont want and yet they are still pushing this on us.
