I unexpectedly hit a "personal slump" over the last 2 weeks and just turned on this video--mainly to hear your encouraging voice and I instantly felt better, put my shoes on, and gave this a go. Mindset shifted. Slump over. Thank you as always.
So I had to drop my risers towards the end, but I thoroughly enjoyed this basic to intermediate workout.❤️💯❤️ I threw in some Michael lunges and merry-go-rounds to spice it up my way. 😂 By the way, I pretty much ignore the numbers on my Fitbit. The only number I care about is my pant size.🙄🤪 Thanks Chris for another awesome workout.

If you are struggling with step…. I just realized today that learning step is similar to when I took Spanish lessons. Step is another type of language that you need to focus on and repeat often before you get it. It is also an amazing tool to keep your mind sharp as you age! Thank you Christine, for inspiring us to keep learning !!! Today’s step made perfect sense to me!! ❤️

Being on the injury couch makes me appreciate mobility so much more! I’m missing doing step with you, Chris, so much but just watching the live made me feel a bit better. I’m so looking forward to the day that I can start to think about doing the basic steps once again. One day at a time…soon I’ll be working out with all my fitness friends and family! I miss you all! 💥💥 so much fun! Let myself relax and felt like I was flying during the last few segments. Sweating buckets and smiling BIG! While you can’t stand the Venga Boys song I so appreciate that you play it for us. So many fun memories of college bar nights with bright colored drinks dancing to that one 😂 Saving this one in my faves. Thank you!❤

Hi Chris from 🇦🇺🦘I did a recent class of yours and thought how a turn step and diagonal would have been great in there too. You can imagine my surprise to see you using them both here. They were two of my favourite directional moves back in the day. As well as a diaganol with a knee back. Vengabus is one of my least fave tracks too... loved the others though. Did I hear right you are going to Germany to do a class?? How exciting! 🎉 Just loved this chore today. 🫶 a bonus Louie too with toy waiting for mumma to throw it and checking on us all..🐶🧸
Holy Mackerel! That was fast and sweaty! When I needed a breather - I did 8 or 16 counts on the floor then jumped back in. I also did the around the world kicks on the floor toward the end of the routine to build in a bit of breath recovery. These fast ones are always a huge challenge for me - I am so pleased I am able to do them with these modifications! I always think of you saying "don't be shy, modify!". And I do 😄 Thanks Chris for another great class. You rock! 🇨🇦💕
I did this class live today and came back now to leave a comment. This was honestly one of my favorite classes ever and I've done many step classes. I loved the routine, music, and that it was a full hour of step. Thanks for starting off my day in such a positive way (I joined at 6am PST) 😄

I wish there was a Love button & not just a Like one! Absolutely great class Chris, you know I love the Fast Basics/Intermediates & to have a 60 minute one was a fabulous bonus. Lots of my favourite moves, music didn't really bother me since I was just focused on the choreography & the beat. I burnt about 378 calories but I don't take notice of that at all, just happy to close my exercise & move rings on my watch lol. Watches should carry a feel good mentally or a happiness ring. Thank you so much Chris, hopefully be able to join you for some Live classes soon as will be Stateside so time shouldn't be a problem.❤
@MLS-1, I was in the same spot two years ago, but I have found the best instructor ever! Chris explains step like no other! For me, the 60 to 90 minute spent on this channel are the fuel for the day, keep me in best shape, motivate me for whatever challenge. Thank you Chris, and to all your friend, Amanda, Vanessa, Nastia, Michelle, and all the other guests! And, beside step and cardio, I never neglect the weight training😅, as Chris keeps advising us😘
I don’t often do the Saturday class, but I caught this one in the after party. Perfect choreography, I knew all the moves. I’m 67 5’4 and burned 330 calories. Not as much as some but as Chris says everyone is different. Thank you Chris!
